Honestly eeh , with what I've seen it has made me arrive to a conclusion that, the route to acquire this Canada study visa doesn't have a manual book, cus these VOs are unpredictable. If you think you know how they reason or act then your in for surprise I don't know wether they are doing this deliberately.

Sometimes You will see an app that is well package and tight but still yet it won't live up to expectation, a generic refusal reason will be used to drag it down while at times you will see an app that is poorly put together and yet it receives a green light for approval.

So every apps are treated differently by different VOs,at times you will see 3 VOs working on an app as a result of the app been recommended for secondary review.
Which brings me about a guy that received passport request, after 2days the request came, the passport request was cancelled and in few days time, the guy was sent refusal letter, the young man wan run mad.
So I think it could be the secondary review recommended made the decision change hands or it could be village people! Who knows..

Basically, I strongly believe it's all about Divine Grace of God paving way for people and announcing them in the hrt of the VO incharge.
So I urge every intending applicants and old ones to go deeply in prayer to back up their apps and plead for God's Mercy and Grace to speak and announce them

For VFS to call you then it must be something serious bcus they rarely call someone.
Perhaps you should call them back like someone suggested or write to them to find out what they are after by phoning you.

I have been hearing refusal from most pple saying due to insufficient fund but I use my blood broda Acc with balance of 9.8m I also show prove that we are brothers by submitting his birth certificate prove of biz also did affidavit..pls wat do you think is there any chances at all

First of, if you've come of age, make sure you submitted your own personal bank statement together with other documents. Now in this aspect, you don't need to have thousands of naira in it Noo,just try and have reasonable amount of money in the account that has a source it was raised. Bcus some VOs will be expecting that from you, they just want to be sure you have your own personal savings just incase if there is a breakdown of relationship with Sponsor along the line.
That being said, even with that 9.8mill you still stand a chance of getting approval, I've equally seen someone who submitted her study visa with 5mill as closing balance and yet the person visa was approved.
So just make sure your sponsor, has strong economic ties with good source of income

Hello gurus in the house
This my first time here but quick one I submitted my visa application may 15 and biometric done may 27 ever since then I haven’t heard any news but I needed to defer my admission to Jan cos of delay in visa so I sent the news document the school sent to me and receipt of payment that have made so far to ircc ever since I get worried cos I haven’t heard anything about it pls wat can I do

There is no need to worry cus nothing has happened yet, although it's normal for you get worried but don't mind ircc , dey are good in delaying ppls applications but still it's not their fault cus dey usually have tons of apps to attend to.
Since you've forwarded the new LOA to them,I'm sure they must have used it to update your profile.
As of early this month, I've seen someone that got passport request without doing medical , this is someone who applied since February,so use this to keep hopes alive cus it's not over until it's over.
So relax ok and don't get yourself worked up bcus of this, although I know the waiting is killing and I understand you must have emailed ircc couple of times to enquire about your application status right.
Anyways just wait till next month ending, if by then you haven't heard from ircc then I suggest you go and order your GCMS note.
This way you will get to see first hand , the direction your app is heading, wether it's heading towards approval or not. But if you don't want to order the notes, you can still leave it and keep hoping and praying. I was just suggesting the Gcms note , that way you will get to have peace of mind by knowing your app status

Yea it's possible, don't be scared cus the admission is real. I've seen someone who applied for Conestoga and the person got admission withing 24hours and the person was thinking the same way you were thinking, whether it was real or not.
So fear not cus the admission is real, it appears maybe you have high grade and more qualified for the program your applying for, so you were among the first seat was chosen for, in the department.
Although just to be sure, make sure the website the school is making use of is the official and recognize one

@bolded.
I disagree with you!!.
How do you think the VOs have that luxury of time to look at that thing you stated up there?
It isn't their business. When they give refusal reasons, it's either no career progression or academic progression. Nothing like your country doesn't have such employment rate.

The example You gave as well doesn't hold water. It's a choice and it's allowed if an Iranian wants to learn french from another country, it's either for the country of school good or for his own good and country. It's a win-win
Please lets mind how we dish info here. Leave emotions apart and also you dnt work with ircc to know what they do.
If one studied banking and finance and have a job in veterinary firm for 4years and you choose to study veterinary whatever in canada, it's not the VOs business to tell you there isnt job or employment rate on that program in your home country.
Just prove a solid point that you would leave canada, even though they expect you to stay back and help their economy and you can be a PR and citizen in few years, which is the Main reason people choose CANADA.

Please, what you said has no basis to be held strongly.

I've seen numbers of applicants Gcms that says low Employment prospects back home is one of the things that contributes to their refusal grounds, so your wrong if you say this thing doesn't matter bcus it does and VOs use to check these things at times cus they don't see how an applicant will be telling them he or she will return back home after studies to practice what they studied when in reality there is low job placement in the applicants country with regards to the course they want to study and to the VO it won't make sense to them.
If your saying VO doesn't have time to check these things then your in for a shock, you will be surprise that some VOs will go to extra length of checking applicant Facebook page using the their names, sourcing an information that will help them in Processing an application, why do you think some applications takes 6 to 7months or maybe more before decision is made.
That's why it's good to order GCMS bcus the VOs use to point out things like this there and they won't list it in refusal letter.
Anyways , i don't have time to argue about this, so it's ok for anyone to disagree with me but in my world this matters alot.

Hi everyone, I will like to bring this to your attention, something I feel some Applicants use to ignore bcus dey don't see it as something serious but in reality that thing is one of the things that determines weda their visa will be approved or not.
(That thing is CAREER/JOB prospects in home country)

Now some people are being ignorant of this thing by not taking it into consideration before applying for their study visa, although I don't blame them, some of them are not informed to that aspect.

Career/Job prospects in home country is one of the elements that plays a big role in determining your visa approval.
By this I mean, some applicants use to choose a program they feel is highly paid in Canada or it could be what ever reason that prompt them to choose anyhow program without considering some certain things.

For instance, a Visa officer may be working on an application, he or she will look into the career/job prospects of the applicant chosen program in their home country, by doing this they are trying to figure out the amount of job placement of the applicant proposed course in the PA home country.
Now base on their research, if they find out that their is little employment opportunities for the PA chosen program in their home country, this will raise eye brow on the side of VOs bcus they will be wondering why the PA has chosen to spend thousands of dollars studying a program that has high rate of unemployment in their home country but has high rate of employment in Canada.
Basically, this alone will signal the VO that the PA is trying to emigrate in disguise using study visa bcus the program the PA chose, has high job placement in Canada but low job prospects in their home country.
This in return will make the embassy to refuse the applicant visa with the following reason that they are not sure the PA will leave the country at the end of their studies bcus they feel there is limited employment prospects on the chosen field of study in the PA country of residence.

To summarize this, let me give an example, an Iraq applicant is proposing to study French in Canada.
Now tell me, does this make any sense, obviously it will be hard to secure employment in Iraq using French degree certificate.

My advice to the intending Applicant, while choosing a program, choose it carefully and carry out research on the particular course you ve chosen to know the employment rate of the course in your home country and try explain in your Sop why you've chosen not to study the course in your country.

Hello Guys,

please i need help concerning studying in Canada.
I i am currently living in Germany and i will like to go for a one year master program in Canada but i dont even know where to start from in terms of school selection

Google has the answers you need here in terms of school selection, you can start by surfing the internet by searching for universities or colleges that offers a program related to your previous course you've studies before or Employment history and check if you can meet up with their admission requirements and also the school you can afford their fees.
If you see a school that meets your needs you can start applying for admission but before you apply for admission, make sure the school is govt/province approved and it's eligible for Post Graduate Work Permit.
While your on it, start putting your Documents together and getting ready to file in your study visa application

Hello Canadian Aspirants.....
This information is for Applicants out there that there study visa app has been refused and they are thinking of giving up in their pursuit to study in their dream country Canada. I was inspired to put this down bcus I noticed some Applicants are giving up and are pulling the plug of their plans to move to Canada .
I don't blame them anyways, cus Canada embassy has a way of putting people into anxiety, curiosity and frustration base on the long wait and other things. But the thing is,there is a good news now, Applicants doesn't have to give up their dream to live and study in Canada anymore.

Basically, I understand whenever an applicant visa is refused, they usually feel devastated and overwhelmed with sadness, naturally that's how you will feel but don't allow it to weigh you down and affect your thoughts in making the right decision. My dear I have good news for you, don't be sad, rather dust yourself up and wipe your tears and face the problem at hand and tackle it.

What I'm about to share with you now may look weird to you but in my own perspective its the pure truth.
Now whenever ircc denies an applicant visa, to me it's an opportunity that needs to be capitalized on, like it gives the applicant an edge , it increases the applicant chances of getting the visa next time the applicant reapply.
I know this sounds weird but I will explain further for your better comprehension, in order to clear the grey areas for you.

Now what do I mean by this ?

Whenever ircc denies someone visa they will definitely list out the refusal grounds. Now you as an applicant needs to take hold of this opportunity and turn the sour situation to your favour. As a matter of fact ,you stand a higher chance of getting the visa compare to first timers who are about to apply.

Let me drop an example so that you will grab wat I'm trying to say.

Whenever ircc gives you refusal reasons, they are technically telling you , this is where and where you got it all wrong and this is where you need to address their concerns.
Now it's now left for you as an applicant to carefully and cautiously address the concerns laid out by VO and by doing this, you ve allayed the areas they have fears on and this will cause chain reaction by making them to approve the next visa application submitted.

At times, Applicant use to be in a hurry to reapply for study visa bcus they don't want to miss their class resumption after being denied without first not carefully tackling the refusal reasons given to them and after days, weeks or months of reapplying, they will still get the same denial and the same refusal reasons.
This is where most of Applicants gets it wrong.

Whenever a visa is denied , they need to take a chill and take their time and tackle the reasons given to them before resubmition.

Now whenever a refusal reasons are given to you, ircc is given you a hint on the areas that cause your visa to be denied, so copy those reasons and start tackling them one by one..
And again I strongly encourage ppl to always go for GCMS note, which will give them a comprehensive list of their refusal reasons, whenever there app is denied.
Mind you, the refusal reasons in that refusal letter ircc sent to you, there is a high chance that is not the only reason behind your visa refusal, sometimes dey use to give generic reason.
But ordering GCMS note will give you first hand of the details of all the refusal reasons given to you.
This explains why some ppl after being denied, they will only tackle the refusal reasons written in the refusal letter, thinking that it's the only reason given to them without knowing there are more to it and at the end, they will still get dia app denied again.
For instance, if your refusal letter contains only 2 refusal reasons and you went ahead to order your gcms note and you might get to see that your gcms contains 3 or 4 refusal reasons behind your app denial, so do you now see what I mean.
Pls don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's a must you will order your gcms note after denial, No...
At times, the refusal the number of reasons that came with the refusal letter might still be the same reasons written in the Gcms note but you can't take any chances, can you, just to be sure.
So ordering GCMS note helps the next study application you will reapply stand a higher chance of getting approved.

Now in summary to all these I've said, when your visa is denied, don't be sad but rather be hopeful bcus your chances of getting the visa has been increased, how to I mean, that is if you carefully tackle the refusal reasons given to you by ircc, it increases and boast your chances of getting the visa in your next attempt.
That explains why so many many students studying in Canada today, they applied for Canada visa 2 to 3 times before they get their visa approved.

Now let be come down as kindergarten as I can in given another example for ppl who still don't understand the message I'm trying to pass across.

(As a student that fails an assignment, the teacher will write down the assignment corrections on the board for the students to take down, learn and study it, then during examination the same questions given for the assignment will be repeated again, now those that learned and study the corrections made during that period will be able to answer the exam questions correctly this time)
Do you now get the logic........

Finally, don't forget to involve God in this your Canadian study visa journey for Divine intervention cus whoever God's Grace speaks for you, doors for visa approval will be open for you and not even the VO will stop it.

These are my close Observation base on how people get their visa approved and take note of them, so if your an applicant out there whose visa has been rejected and your saying your tired of Canada, don't lose hope, be firm and highly resolved, you will surely get the visa.

Hello everyone
Pls my mum's boss is my sponsor (bsc)
What are the documents I need to provide to proof strong connection
Also, he has been sponsoring my sister in uni here in Nigeria, pls how can I get this proof as he always issues her cheque
Thank youu

In this your case, make sure you tell the truth that your sponsor is your mom boss, don't go and add anything like his your relatives watever,to avoid chewing something you can't swallow.
And again, looking for Documents to use prove relationship is this your case is not necessary but if you have one, you can use it.
But the most important thing you need here is convincing VO using your Sop , why your mom's boss has volunteer to cater for your educational expenses abroad, bcus VO will like to know why.
Lastly,if you have evidence that showed that this same man that is your mom boss is also sponsoring your sister in the uni,pls to me it's advisable you provide it too and include it in your Sop also, cus this way, your trying to show the VO that truely this your intending sponsor, really wants to help see you through in your educational expenses and he has been helping your siblings too.
These are my thoughts and you can wait to see if any guru will add more to this your case

You just have to explain to them why your going for another masters then your good to go,it's no big deal

Or is it based on luck, please advice me oo so i can advice this person. Me i didn't do it because am not ready to be given a ban and i am not ready to spoil Nigerians name. still booking space to come share testimony for my own application

It's unfortunate Canada embassy now sees Nigerians as applicants who always submit forge documents bcus most of the misrepresenting cases the have, majority of it comes from naija.
That's why they always scrutinize Nigeria study visa applications very well bcus of this and this has really giving the country bad name already.
And I blame agents for this bcus the contribute mostly on it.

To my surprise, I know someone that used an agent to apply for visa and the agent manipulated the figures in the applicant bank account by working in the account and I thought the application will chop 5yrs ban but to my surprise after 3months,the visa was approved and my jaw dropped.
I said to myself does it mean Almighty Canada that is good in fishing this kind of things out allow this one to slip pass them.

Someone should please respond because I feel like I am not visible here

With regards to your first question concerning if it's ok for you to go for masters in environmental science, occupational safety which aligne with your educational background or buisness degree which goes with your past and present buisness work experience.
For me I will say it all depends on what your future prospects or should I say long term goals are, so if you can answer this then you can easily pick which course to go for in Masters.

As for the second question, it's not that easy to secure admission in Masters program with 2.2 bcus admission for Masters program is usually competitive, schools always go for applicants with good grade first before they start considering others.
Nevertheless, you can still give it a shot, you might get admitted in Masters program and while your on it make sure you apply for another Admission for PGD, anyone that works out , you go with it.

When it comes to travel history and you want to know if it increases chances of application , well to me it helps in a way, in the sense that if an applicant,in the past has traveled to U.S, Australia or maybe any of the developed countries using visit Visa or any visa and the person didn't overstay or isn't in any black book of any of the countries then it will help the applicant application to some extent.
Bcus if an applicant have been to any of the developed countries before and return back home without overstaying or causing any trouble there, then in the eyes of the VO , the applicant is credible and this will favour the applicant.

As for the fourth question, yes of course, your Dad can be a co sponsor with you.
Since you've some of age, try and demonstrate good home ties, judging from your post it seems you've already started acquiring personal assets for yourself, it's a good one cus it's essentially here base on your age.
I hope this answers your questions

If you've had read all those post made there, you would have seen where I made public apology for the statement bcus I later discovered that I was wrong and I admitted it.
As for the 1yr hardly getting approval, I'm saying it base on what I've seen severally in the past and it's my opinion and your entitle to yours too so leave it that way

I don't know the financial strength of your father or mother but if you can use both of them as Co sponsor then it's ok.
But wat of your sisters, brothers or even uncle , aunt, can't any of them stand for you as Sponsor.
See eeh ,I don't see anything wrong in using an outsider as sponsor but the problem is can you write convincingly why the outsider is sponsoring you and what does he or she stand to gain by releasing such amount of money for your school stuff

Well that's a tricky one bcus how do you plan on proving relationship with your father's or mother's cousin who wants to be your sponsor and secondly, VO will be curious like why would your father's or mother's cousin choose to spend thousands of dollars on your educational bills in this hard times, the VO will be wondering does it mean your father's or mother's cousin doesn't have his or her own family to cater for and what does he or she stand to benefit by spending that huge amount of money on you.
Failure to prove relationship or convince VO will make them to arrive to a decision that you went and hire money by hiring someone to stand for you as Sponsor.
My suggestion is don't use your mother's or father's cousin as sponsor
