obedience4: What I trying to point out was that the British nation when they were under the European Union was part of the European space agency' ESA, so this is the first time they are conducting a solo space mission. So we have to give them some slack. China with all it advancement, only just 5 years ago conducted its first space mission, last year sent a Rover to the moon, same with India who also made progress last year, China also have plans to send someone into the moon, latest next year, Soviet Union now Russia and the USA are the Major flag bearer in space exploration, so countries like Britain shouldn't be mocked for a single failed mission Although china has proven themselves to be a big boy in space program. I think if they're to be listed, after Russia and the u.s the next should be china. And china also has an independent space station, something no one ever thought could happen. It is good to point out that British are in for a long and steady decline. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: The Epic Arsenal Of Western Weapons Coming For Putin This 12 Months by Masterviolence(m): 9:33am On Jan 14, 2023 |
There's nothing epic about these weapons being sent to Ukraine.
A few numbers of tanks like the leopard 2 which has been contemplated on whether to be sent or not. Even if they're sent nothing extraordinary will happen. Tanks has never been a game changer in this type of battle.
A load of Infantry fighting vehicles like the Bradley. And many APCs
The thing about these type of IFV is that they're good for hit-&-run tactics. They might be effective but not a game changer. And a huge number of rounds to be shot
Whoever thinks these armaments are game changer should note that this is an artillery war. And no country on earth can win Russia in an artillery war. |

I don't know why the western media always finds a way to paint Russia as the devil
Today you'll hear Putin ally said this and said that, tomorrow the same thing.
This are people that are not to be taken serious because they're not the decision makers
Immediately a word like nuke the u.s or UK comes out of their mouths, it will be on the front page of every news outlets to deceive these gullible ones, knowing fully well that the people who say these things are not decision makers (e.g the president, military generals, or those that plan or command every action that happens in Ukraine)
Their paid media and bloggers will make sure every eye see it, so that these western slave we have something to masturbate on.
I pity those that are not on their pay-roll but are constantly backing them up.
Being Willfully ignorant and highly stupid is the worst thing that can happen to a man.
I refuse to be deceived |

obedience4: Please come down, only few countries like the USA has virtually all defence sector in their palms. Can you compared the Russia Navy with the Royal Navy of the UK, the Russia Navy that's in decline. Russia is a pioneer of rocket engineering and so has a stake at rocket combustion and other related field. Yet Russia is lagging behind when it comes to AI, even drone technology Russia is lagging behind. Even if the UK launch Failed they will still try again It wasn't up to 5 years that China started it one space program, You always talk about research but I don't understand what you wrote here. |

pansophist: Of course, I know. I have always said earlier that what Africans considered independence was a transition of the old method of exploitation (colonialism), to a new, self-sustaining, sophisticated method of permanent subjugation (imperialism).
They replace the white colonial faces with black faces, whom they promise all the support and will ignore all their crimes if they continue sustaining all their exploitative structures that were built in the colonial era.
So as countries were getting their so-called independence, they were ushered into western imperialistic ecosystems. So they became a member of the UN, and ICC, must use the dollar, imposed educational systems, their corporations coming in to control their resources, (eg Shell and Nigeria oil), and so on.
In simple terms, think of how a butcher moves the cows from the farm to the slaughterhouse. In the cow's mind, he is free from the enclosed farm, but the slaughterhouse though modern and shiny with machines is worse than where they were coming from.
You see the way the US froze billions of dollars of Afghanistan's foreign reserves, and as they did with Russia as well, that's exactly the fate that awaits any country that tries to pull off their imperialistic eco-system.
While we are busy fighting each other like idiots, they are up there designing sophisticated systems to keep others down, and themselves on top. And this world order must go, or else, the global south will never develop.
China refused to be part of that system, now look at them. Iran refused and was sanctioned to death, but they still thrive and built their own planes and so forth. Until we leave western dependence and walk our own part, no magic Peter Obi will perform. It's like putting a pilot in a ship, it can't do anything with it.
How can the world be democratic when less than 15% of the world population (the west) controls everything? if this is not authoritarianism, then what is authoritarianism?
But I always take responsibility, so I won't blame them much, I blame our ancestors for letting this degrade this badly, and makes it harder for current and future generation to solve. The rot is too much. Bravo Since there are intelligence folks like you on this forum, I might resume commenting on nairaland. |

saladinnoir: Putin didn't do anything he was simply lucky to have taken the reigns of power when russia experienced an economic wind fall due to high oil prices. The one thing putin can be credited for is restoring law amd order to the country but he didn't perform any economic miracles he was just in the right place at the right time. You can't come out to say this nau Can you tell me achievements of the Nigerian government when oil price was high? Like someone said knowing what the problem are and getting the right people to do it. If Russia was as corrupt as the Nigeria government would they have been it the position they are today.
