Why do pay before delivery only?
I bought one redmi from one nurex1 guy today and it was pay on delivery. It’s not as if the delivery guy will just dash the guy the package before transfering money. Na Nigeria we dey, majority won’t do payment before delivery

Who and who are the majority? Lol. Seems you're new on this platform..

@genius43 and others that could be of help
Good dayb

I'm currently considering joining the xiamio family by purchasing Redmi note 9 (4+128), but I read some reviews on gsm arena that are discouraging. The complaints majorly are abt the processor (G85- how it's inferior and not for gaming) and the battery ( how it takes hours to charge and discharges quickly upon usage).

Please, I need my bosses that are tech-savvy to enlighten me about my choice of phone. And that's about the chipset (how good, reliable it is), the battery (how strong and lasting it is upon usage), it's gaming ability and comparison of the phone with its note 9s variants.

Thanks

I wouldn't advice you to hold reviews on GSMarena with any seriousness. Nevertheless, If it's within your budget, I'll advise you go for the 9s even if it's the 4/64 variant.

Jamesbally:
Ok, thanks.

Do you have any idea how much it costs for both the battery and touch pad for Redmi5, when order from Aliexpress?

No. I don't

Gafano:
Please how do i make use of second space?

follow the attached screenshot

Jamesbally:
This is serious. But what do you mean by going extra miles?

Thanks anyways.

U don't know that when u buy a fone from Alli express you have option to add tempered glass to it.

Smiles, I know what you're talking about but it doesn't make any difference, in fact more often than not, it is of inferior quality. Imo, the tag "follow come" is unnecessary but you know what? Happy sales

happy662:
Are you in Benin? I have Follow come tempered glass from Alli express for sale.

Which one is follow come tempered glass again bayi? Chai!

pelvicky:

Head to the tweaking thread, the information you seek is all on the first page of the thread.

I'm still thinking of what I'm supposed to do with this information.

You may not understand what it means to upgrade from that model or RN5 so don't worry about it. Those of us old members that understand congratulate him and encourage his comrades especially @gptech, @honsule and @genius43 to follow suit

Someone should help pls

Log(30/16)-2log(5/9)+log(400/243)

Apply the laws of logarithm
xlog A = log(A^x)
logA + logB = log(A *B)
logA - logB = log(A÷B)

Please are you Referring to this update ?

He uses a different device age that case is one of the few outliers. Updates, even given time to settle down makes the phone operates better in most(almost all) cases. So go ahead with the update.

You took my opinion and made it personal, Nairaland in a Nutshell

My brother, I've not made anything personal, I was only PEACEFULLY making a point that suggests that the opinion you had may be a little flawed.

flawless911:
If dem make MTK wey beat Snapdragon 865+ and sell am 20k I no go buy sir.. Keep that nasty thing away from me
I don't buy devices that are not developer friendly

Nobody is asking you to buy mtk phones. I can't use one as a daily driver as well but that doesn't mean I can't recommend the powerful ones to people especially those who have no business with tweaking.

If you're to choose one between an mtk-powered redmi device and an mtk-powered transsion device both within the same price range for someone, which will you pick? Or which do you think will be more efficient? The answer to these questions emphasize the point I'm trying to make.

Moreover, apart from the Note 8 pro, all the other 8series devices are powered by snapdragon chipsets and they cost way less than the 88k you quoted so what are we saying?

And finally, one thing I agree with you on is the fact that the current poor state of the economy is to blame for the atrocious prices. These phones are still as cheap as they were when several years ago. I bought my first redmi device (Note 2) five years ago for less than 35k. I believe the redmi 9 which is currently sold for almost 70k is in the same price range in dollars.

flawless911:
Thanks to our sh¡tty currency, Xiaomi has become just another Midrange MTK Brand for the average Nigerian.. Imagine, Redmi 9, MTK, is retailing for 67k.. The cheapest Snapdragon Xiaomi is now 88-90k.. Omo na the Change wey dem promise us be this, we never see anything

Redmi 8 nko and I believe you know MTK is different from MTK. If some certain devices come with the one in redmi 9, it will cost way more than that.

endemophy:
Please is it true that xiaomi parts r nt available in Nigeria

No. You hardly need them anyway as the devices are solidly built. In most cases, all you need is a replacement screen and a visit to the thread store will show you that's available in Nigeria

THANK GOD OOO! INT. FLIGHT TO BE REOPEN SOON. MY FAVOURITE REDMI NOTE 9s will come down to 70k.
