The original function f(x) was shifted horizontally to the right by 4 units, that gives f(x - 4) and then vertically downwards by 2 units, that gives f(x-4) - 2.
That is,
Given f(x) = x², the new function after the shifts(translation) is
K(x) = f(x-4) - 2 = (x-4)² - 2 = x² - 8x + 16 - 2 = x² - 8x + 14

Pls, my RN9s started restarting on it's own some minutes ago. When I click on any app it won't open either it will just freeze and restart.

I have forced restarted it multiple times, still same prob.

I am using my lil sis fone now to seek for help.

Be prepared to lose your data. The last resort is to do factory reset from recovery.

How I wish there is /are sellers who accept swap deals. I would have loved to change my Note 9s to 10 Pro.

If you're really serious about getting a good phone, you'll ignore the trolls on this thread. I've been using Xiaomi redmi products since 2015 so believe me if I tell you that it's true value for money. This is not in anyway to cajole you into buying one, just stating the facts. Below is the picture of few of the ones I've used over the years and the highest problem I've had with any of them is a broken screen which were replaced with quality AAA screens.

I took these just now in total darkness. So think about what you've just said again.

Redmi note 9s has no front flash and it does have a tiny notification light at the bottom of the screen. It's been such a long time since I saw a phone with front flash

Returning it would be very difficult so I'm saving that as a last resort.

I suggested returning because its still fresh and it may be even more difficult to return after you unlock bootloader. Sieve through genius' post on this thread for the link to the latest full Rom for Note 9s and the guidelines to follow.

BTW, where is your location?

I got the Redmi Note 9S yesterday and I'm currently experiencing a very frustrating bug.
A message saying "find device has unexpectedly closed" will flash across my the bottom of screen and then the phone will reboot itself. When I unlock it again, the message will appear again and the phone will reboot itself making the phone unusable.

When it happened the first time I didn't know what triggered it but I did a factory reset on the phone and updated the os to miui 12.
I was able to use the phone for hours without any problems but this morning when I opened the Security App it happened again. And I had to do another hard reset losing all my data in the process once again.

I've reported the issue but I don't know whether they'll address it. I looked online and I saw that some other xiaomi phone users have been experiencing this as well.

Has anyone here experienced this too?

It seems the problem is with the security app. So you either return it to where you bought it or flash the full rom again, or unlock bootloader then flash Xiaomi.eu or Miui Mix Rom
