I was about to celebrate about how I just installed orangefox and i needed to know how to install the persist.img file.

I just tried to boot into recovery again and it's back to stock recovery. It worked a few moments, dunno what happened
After flashing the recovery from your PC, boot immediately into the recovery and flash the recovery from your phone as well.
Phones › Re: Which Phone Company Has The Best Camera Based On Your Experience by mathefaro(m): 2:52pm On Sep 15, 2020
khenii:
Xiaomi has the best camera yen yen yen but you will still go to install GCAM abi, do you not know GCAM is actually short for Google camera specifically made for pixel devices but it is hacked so it would work on other devices. When it comes to cameras ehn nothing beats

1. the Google pixel's impressive computational photography technology.

2. Apple's deep fusion technology using their new A13 Bionic chip to do “pixel-by-pixel processing of photos

3. Huawei and Samsung, a tie cos they both have strengths in different areas, one can't trump the other here

Notable mentions: One plus, Sony, Xiaomi, Nokia
Have you ever stopped to ask yourself the category of Xiaomi users that install gcam? Have you ever seen or laid your hands on the Xiaomi phones that have been acclaimed to hold the top spot in terms of camera let alone hear of their users looking for gcam? Even ordinary Mi 9T pro users will tell you that they have no need for gcam.

I think the problem with many of you is that whenever you make your comparisons, you compare the top offerings from brands like iPhone, Samsung and Huawei with the popular Xiaomi midrangers, some even go down to the redmi note product line cos that's as far as they have seen/come across.

Finally, the fact that Xiaomi users are able to get much more better images with ported gcams which makes them comparable with the top dogs is a testament to the good hardware as you would know, gcam is only but a good software which needs a good hardware to work with.

Cheers

Good evening all. I want someone to assist me with the solution of the below challenges. Though, it's not from the phone but from the operator of the phone. I am using Redmi note 9 pro ( global version). These are the challenges:
1. How can I reset my menu to be alphabetically inclined?
2. Does it have finger print recognition? If yes, how?
3. What is amoled display? Can I download amoled with the phone?
4. I have two Facebook accounts?
(a) My Facebook lite is always tiny....even if I change the font size, it still won't be bold.
(b) I have the normal one, the font size is bold but, if someone private chat me....I must log in through the messenger to respond the sender.
5. I must confess Redmi note 9 pro is excellently superb......I have never enjoyed my past phones like this one. I am sincerely speaking from the depth of my heart.

Thank you in anticipation for your response.
The fingerprint scanner is on the side, incorporated with the power button. To use it, go to settings, security, fingerprint.
No, you cannot download Amoled. Let's say it's a different type of screen to the one that comes with your phone

You cannot change the LTE band on your phone sir. It's hardware related and not software. I stand to be corrected though

Which Xiaomi device do u use? Is ur SIM 4G, does the network show 4G?
Mine is RN7pro and my sim is 4G, but d mtn network doesn't show 4G.
RN7Pro does not have a global version so it doesn't have all the mtn 4G bands, only band 7(and 3) is supported by RN7pro so if it's not available in your area, you won't have access to 4G

Good day everyone I want to join the Xiaomi family. I had a difficult time making a choice between RN8 or RN9. However, I've opted for the RN9 device, just for the sake that it is a 2020 device. My concern is, someone mentioned this device (and even RN8) doesn't work with the regular wired earphones. Is this correct?

Let's say I am quite old fashioned, I am not a disciple of those bluetooth headphones or airpods, and I don't like the idea of buying one, due to the extra costs that that brings.
Not correct, it works with regular wired earphones. Just get good ones

This seem nice. How can I achieve this? or is there someone (maybe a gsm engineer) who can do this I'll pay for the service rendered. I live in Lagos. Thanks.
One important thing you need to note is that you shouldn't try any of these yet until you sort out the issue of the mi account otherwise, you may find yourself on a long thing

Guy, this ur post made me waste 2.2G of my data.
I was already on Android 10 MIUI 11 but wanted to upgrade to MIUI 12. The package i downloaded based on ur instructions was not MIUI 12.
Are you sure he ever recommended a ROM to you personally? If not, you just wasted your data yourself, only you are to blame. His posts have been specific for devices that were mentioned.

It's even unreasonable to be comparing 2 service providers while discussing with either. When you knew A provides it, why going to B? You compared my service cuz I said I don't do it, that's the end of the convo. Go with the provider that gives what you want/need and stop disrespecting another.

Good morning boss. With my recent apps cleared and my phone on airplane, battery still dropped by 9%. The funny thing is I can see apps under the battery stats that I didn't even use yesterday. It's getting worrisome oo..
The apps are the major culprits if you ask me. If they appear on the stats without being used, then it means they also use your battery unnecessarily. Also Facebook and are known to be battery/data monsters. So restrict them as much as possible because even after installing the Rom manually and you don't take care of those apps, the problem is likely to persist.
