Remember this powerful paradigm shift: It is not how you are feeling that is wrong. It is what you do with your feelings that become the issue.

If you allow yourself to throw a tantrum and fling your arms around, ranting wildly like a lion king, this is obviously not a good sign. You are liable to hurt other people's feelings as well as possibly causing them physical harm.

When you let your temper get the better out of you, you may face serious consequences like:

1. Detrimental to your unstable mental health

2. Severely damaging your physical health, some may even trigger heart attacks or latent diseases

4.Destroying relationships with friends, family, lovers and co-workers

Luckily, there are solutions to this problem.

Your first step is to seek out help and learn to manage your temper in a more effective way. This can include group discussion on possible solutions with family and friends or it can consist of you learning how to manage your anger by yourself either in books or online.

Learning to control your temper will take time, energy, effort and patience. One of the first things you should do is to try to determine what the root cause of your anger is.

Did you grow up in an angry household where you witnessed a lot of fights and dramas?
Have you experienced a traumatic event in the past about people?

Sometimes the root cause of anger can be hidden deep inside. It is only with a lot of self-reflection, soul-searching and meditating that the answers will be revealed.

Find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed and start making a list of all the things that make you angry. Then put them in order of importance - which one lights your fuse first. Once you know what your root cause is, you will be able to devise a better strategy to deal with it and slowly change your behavior.

As for me, the single root cause that lights my fuse the most is "people getting angry and reacting with anger for no justifiable cause." i have identified mine and i am already working tirelessly towards accommodating it. lets hear yours

thank you @OP...in usa they have anger management programs....I really wish we have it here in nigeria. my job I gave som1 a black eye,put up a fight at my second job and now that Im a boss...Ive slap one of my worker. I hate when people lie to your face and keep talking to ur face like u cant do shit. I remember when I wanted to fight my wicked uncle back then. The only way I control it now is to stay alone,walk out from bullshitz...and remain silent in some matters. If theres any other please help. Thanks for the post. Im an #aries though.

Ok...I dont know the english name...I dont even know its a disease not to talk of a heavy one at that...its goes like this...like air will purge out from ur throat...when it happen to a child,the parent around will tell d child to go and drink a cup of water. I dont even know its a disease until happened to my dad.

What were your dad's symptoms? What was the doctor's diagnosis? What was the treatment that they gave your dad, and for how long?

I dont live with my dad so I cant get the papers but he was admitted to that hospital for 12days(even in a cheap hospital,do u know,how much u will pay for staying there for 12days)

What was the name of the more costly medication that they described? What was their reason for refusing to admit you again? Did your dad stat taking the more costly medication immediately. For how long? How long after he started did he start to feel better before he relapsed ?

the reason they was that...we have been discharged from that case not less than 4days ago so the doctor gave us 4 costly but powerful drugs he is to drink for a month he even gave us assurance,my dad started drinking it that even but the sickness/attack came back within 2days. Thats when people started saying we should try yoruba traditional herb.

What Yoruba medicine specifically? Did your dad's symptoms disappear whenever he took the medicine? Did you divert to it due to cost?

Whenever he took the yoruba medicine...it will stop/calm him down then the attack/sickness will comeback again b4 midnight. The yoruba medicine is to be taken morning n night. Im not yoruba so I cant specify it but I will tell all the medicine he took works well but the sickness normally come as attack thas why we went to know if someone is behind it. We didnt divert to yoruba because of the money I alone can handle the expenses.

Brilliant students not finishing school is not unheard of. It happens. The fact that it rarely happens doesn't mean it must be supernatural.

M more of a mystic now than a christian,m not against any religion though. And I have never attended any service at the pastors church...I only went to his place once to get him to come to my fathers house and attend to my father.
