I'm glad we've come to some sort of agreement and I agree with you that every ethnic nationalities in the defunct Eastern region need to have a round table discussion to ascertain what next after successfully seceding from Nigeria, whether to stay together or to go separate ways.

I for one don't buy the idea of "forcefully" including other nationalities into the struggle without their consent. It's disrespectful and totally wrong.

Note that yesterday sit-at-home move was to pay our respect to those who lost their lives in the war.

For what it symbolised, it was okay. However if it is a move to show the world the plight of the Igbos, it wouldn't have been enough. I suggest you guys adopt some of the means of protest that Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King employed. Some of these include: hunger strikes, silent protests, civil disobedience, occupation of government premises, etc. There are bolder moves that may be adopted.

As I said, it behoves Eazybay to prove his/her Urhobo identity and so far, nothing has been done to substantiate that.

1. Eazybay has NEVER claimed to be Urhobo anywhere else on Nairaland till now. Why the sudden change of heart? To defend IPOB? That he/she bears Ejiro Akpevba DOES NOT mean he/she is Urhobo. Many Edoids actually bear names like this: Epie-Atissa, Isoko, Degema, etc. Just the way many Middle Belters and even Urhobos bear names similar to Igbo. This doesn't prove ANYTHING! Even some Ukwuanis bear Urhobo names for God's sake! The surname you gobbled up now even sounds more of Delta Edoid (Epie and co) than South-Western Edoid where Urhobo falls under. No real Urhobo would be hesitant to reveal his/her identity and prove it. NONE!

2. I'd love to see proof of a thread where "people called me out on it", as you put it. Because I am not aware of such a thread. I need to see proof of being "called out". Secondly, I caught the Bantundra in a thread where he was going off-key and everyone on that thread knew I caught him because he could not answer the question I also asked this person you are defending now "Ekuoto vor oyin vwon nurhe?". 3. And when did Don Jazzy tell you he has written with Isoko on twitter? If he can understand Isoko, is it through twitter you'd know? Or do you have his direct contact? Has anyone asked him to prove his Isoko identity yet? If he was asked and he failed to prove it like this Eazybay did then that is another thing entirely. You are the one that brought Don Jazzy's Isoko status to this discourse so maybe you should be the one to ask him for his ability or not to speak Isoko in order to make your point effectively. That thread made it clear that restructuring in Nigeria is impossible. Igbos calling other ethnic nationalities to join in the struggle is to have a collective voice which would be loud enough that no one can ignore. We all have our various struggles including the Urhobos and this has been on for years, what has been the outcome so far? A lone voice is not always heard.

So in light of what was said in that thread, how else do u think we can push for the restructuring?

Note that before the Igbos set out for all out secession they were for restructuring which was the Aburi Accord.

Regarding your question, I believe that Nigeria is a dead nation. We can only try to salvage it but it may be very hard to do that with zombified Northerners roaming around. The only solution may be to secede or make a bold move such as what you guys did yesterday. However, yesterday's move was not bold enough. We need to do something to make a more lasting impression that will force the international community to look into the plight of the Igbos and the SS.

My only bone of contention is that if the minorities in the SS and Igbos must secede, there should be a round-table discussion of terms. These things have to be discussed before the struggle even starts. If Igbos had officially invited minority leaders to discuss terms of coalition, no one would have the impetus to claim "We the SS" or say that Igbos are forcing SSners into Biafra. Sadly, such is the reality because many youths go around peddling projected maps where other people's territories are arbitrarily added.

There needs to be a serious conclave on the issues that plague our region so that SS and SE can see how to harmonise interests. We may not be fighting for Biafra as SSners, but we can join the Igbos to shake the FG so that while Igbos get Biafra, minorities can either choose to join Biafra, get their own independent nations or remain in the new Nigeria or whatever will be left of it.

It all boils down to dialogue with the SS and SE leaders and I expect SE leaders who are at the frontline of the agitation to extend this invitation to all minority groups, even those in the Middle Belt, so that we can all express our goals and harmonise interests even if our interests are dissimilar.

On the internet, even Ikenna0b can open a new moniker and claim Urhobo to project his Biafran brouhaha. If he wants to justify his stand, he has to first prove that he is truly Urhobo since he would be speaking AS AN URHOBO! If you didn't put on the Urhobo coat, no one would ask you to prove your identity!

As for UPU, their decision is binding to all Urhobos. When they made this decision, they did a hearing on it through PGs of kingdoms and the PGs voted on them. So whether or not you are Urhobo, UPU decision is binding on ALL Urhobos. If any Urhobo has an issue with UPU decision to remove all Urhobos from Biafra, then such person would have to take it up with UPU. As for me, I am only being a patriotic Urhobo by echoing what UPU has said so that all Biafrans that add us to their useless maps will know and prepare their mind for disappointment from Urhobos. Any Urhobo that loves Biafra so much is free to relocate.

So maintain your Igb0 identity and leave Urhobos alone! Impostor!

I have met virtually ALL the Urhobos on this forum. For an account created in 2016, I can categorically tell you this person is NOT Urhobo!!!! There is no debate about that. I create virtually all the Urhobo threads here and not once has this username even come to say a simple "waado"! So it suddenly becomes expedient to claim Urhobo in a Biafran thread where Urhobos are saying they don't want Biafra?

Secondly, your compatriots have labelled me Afonja on several occasions and I proved them otherwise. It was then left for them to believe it or not. This person has NOT proven one thing here but because s/he obviously supports Biafra, s/he is game to you! What a bigot! What a hypocrite!
