steppins:What's the relationship between "God" and "I will drink water"? If you want to learn Urhobo, stop adding us to Biafra first and I'll be more than glad to teach you. |
steppins:Borrowed to impress you? Oghene bikooooo o! For my own language again? Wetin I nor go hear from Igbo people? Just leave us alone from Biafra! Okay? |
steppins:I am stealing it from IPOB website. Is Urhobo no longer an official language in Biafra? That is where I am stealing it from. After all, IPOB lists Urhobo/Isoko as Biafran languages. You won't face your utopic nation and leave minorities alone! Emekpa! |
steppins:Do you know you are not very smart? A simple Google search will reveal that Urhobo is NOT on Google Translate. How else did you think it was easy to catch that IPOB youth claiming to be Urhobo earlier on this thread? I asked him a simple Urhobo question: "Ekuoto vor oyin vwon nurhe?". He fumbled because he couldn't answer it and didn't have Google Translate to help him. Your lack of intellectual acuity will also prevent you from knowing that I have been on Nairaland since 2010 and have always been pro-Urhobo and anti-Biafra! Keep creating more enemies! Rubbish! I'm not surprised. IPOB youths are not known for their brightness. You just can't face the reality that you are not liked in Nigeria by anyone. Care to ask yourself why? Erue! |
steppins:I'm not Urhobo? Of course, I must be Yoruba/Arewa because I said we don't want to be in Biafra, right? You seem not to know the thought of the average Urhobo man concerning you guys! In your mind, anyone that hates Igbo/Biafra is Yoruba/Hausa! If only you know how much many other groups in Nigeria despise you guys due to your behaviour and what your IPOB brothers go around doing and saying. Tell all your IPOB brothers to stop causing problems by adding uninterested groups into your agitation for Biafra or referendum. We are not interested!! And you are right, we don't give a rat's ass about Biafra!! I was only giving MY OWN analysis of how Biafra will turn out to be a Nigeria with Igbo domination! Who wants to leave Hausa domination for Igbo domination? You think minorities are unwise? I laugh in Isoko! Ozighe! Ekpa ihwo! |
timota:Please list the ten Biafran States in Nigeria? Last I checked, the SE had 5 States. Where are the remaining 5 States? List them! And please make sure you don't list anywhere near Urhoboland in your Biafra. Having that in mind, list the Biafran States! |
londoner:It's a very beautiful place for sure. I've been there before and I loved it. |
Gazelle22:Compliance was total in the SouthEast and in parts of Port Harcourt ONLY! Stop using blanket terms like South-South!! No one in the SS followed IPOB's ORDER! That was made pretty clear today. And if you are going to say anything contrary, do so with images of compliance from Warri, Yenagoa, Uyo and Calabar! |
skypeme:And Niger Delta Republic! |
nyben4eva:I understand all these things. Everyone is tired of Nigeria, to be honest. Nothing works. However, how will Biafra be better? That is the question Biafrans should ask themselves! Here is a list of JUST 10 of the problems with Nigeria: 1. Multiethnicity 2. Corruption (endemic to EVERY ethnic group in Nigeria) 3. Mutual hatred (even within same ethnicities) 4. Pull-Him-Down Syndrome 5. Self-before All (my own, my own mentality) 6. Dishonesty (shown by EVERYONE) 7. Tribalism (this is pretty obvious, even within homogenous ethnic groups) 8. Lack of maintenance culture 9. Laissez-Affairez behaviour 10. Youth unrest and crime (both domestic and international) Now the question again is how will all these, and many more unlisted problems, suddenly vanish in Biafra? Won't the Biafrans be the Nigerians we see today in Anambra, Enugu and Imo? Will they fall from the sky? Will their leaders be killed? What exactly will happen? Granted, the only thing Igbos may assuredly gain from Biafra is the ability to dominate their government and have the political might to do whatever they wants. It is this might that Yoruba and Hausa checkmates in Nigeria. Talking about minorities now: with the Igbo might left unchecked by any majority group in Biafra, who knows what will happen? Who knows? Let's forget about the idealism and utopia propagated by the IPOB members. All those are propaganda. Let us face the real reality once and for all. I wish Biafra well and if it comes to fruition and succeeds, it is well and all good. But Biafra will have better chances as an Igboid contry. Leave the minorities to sort out themselves. If they want Nigeria, fine! If not, fine! But let them speak for themselves! Freedom and freewill are important human rights! You can't force anything on them, even a referendum! They'd have to demand for one first before they get it. |
Mcowubaba:If you like shout bravo from now till 20kpregede, Urhobo has said NO to Biafra: www.vanguardngr.com/2015/11/urhobo-denounces-inclusion-in-map-of-biafra/ Eat it! |
byteem:This is what I've been telling them since o. Dem think say Warri na Biafra ! Make Agbassa and Okere Youths catch dem first for here. |
texazzpete:Which ignorance? That you don't know physical RAM can be increased with ROM or external drives/memory? Even a day-old computer enthusiast knows this! |
nyben4eva:Maybe you mistake my intentions. I do want the Igbos to go. Nigeria is a bad setup for the nature of Igbos. The kind of politricking that goes on in Nigeria is not what Igbos want to do. So their best bet is to have a self-government region or nation where they can rule themselves however they should. However, the Igbo secessionists should realise that one of the problems with Nigeria is its multiethnic nature. If Biafra is to succeed and be different from Nigeria, it should be a purely Igboid nation; an Alaigbo! Sadly, many Ipob youths go on the rampage adding uninterested tribes that are even apathetic to Igbos in the cause. It is this that I have a quarrel with. |
YelloweWest:Asaba is an Igbo city, although the population is diluted with pockets of Urhobos/Isokos, Itsekiris, Ijaws, etc. But it is still an IGBO city! |

nyben4eva:Many of them simply don't know this and the few who know it don't really care. Have a look at the real owners of oil wells in Nigeria and be the judge: http://www.nigerianmonitor.com/revealed-check-out-the-full-list-of-owners-of-nigerian-oil-blocks/ |
steppins:Whatever you say man! Just make sure Urhobo is deleted from Biafra's dictionary! Dazalll! |
steppins:You think 1967 is 2017? Come and try na! And who told you we couldn't defend ourselves in 1967? Ojukwu's troops took over the Mid-West for barely 6 hours before they were flushed out, locked at Ore and decimated. That was the final blow that made Ojukwu run away to Abidjan and brought the war to an end. History will repeat itself again! |
Yyeske:No body is dragging Warri. Every ethnicity has their area in Warri. Mind you, Urhobos occupy Ughelli, Sapele, Abraka, Oghara, Mosogar, Effurun, Udu, etc, so don't act myopic as if Warri is the only city Urhobos occupy. Urhobos are not into militancy but how would you know this from you far away Okija? |
steppins:We won't be surprised if you "descend" on us. After all, Ojukwu did that in 1967 and that was why he lost the war. So try it again this time. We are ready for you guys. |
Amah70:If you like call me Yorudog or Yorugoat, that is your own palaver. All I know is that you should leave Urhobos to fight her battles by herself. It is none of your business! |
steppins:Was it not one of your deluded brothers that drew it to begin with? |
Yyeske:Urhobo should not even be an OPTION at all! We don't want! We'd rather be with Oodua or Arewa than be with Igbos of all people. |
steppins:Good! Make sure to remind the mapmakers of this when they are drawing irrelevant and controversial maps. |
nyben4eva:Let me educate you small: 40% of major oil wells owners in the Niger Delta are Igbos! Yes, I said it! And I will give you proof if you want. Andy Uba and Emeka Offor both control more than 10% of the entire oil wealth in Nigeria! So as much as you'd want to blame Yorubas for enjoying the benefits of Oil wells, Igbos are also part of it. Igbos own oil wells in Ijawland, Urhoboland, Itsekiriland, etc, and they make billions from them. How many Urhobos, Ijaws, Itsekiris, Isokos, etc, have oil wells? Before you cast a stone, introspect first! |
Yyeske:Good. Then go for them and leave us alone dammit! |
steppins:The Igbos you know don't want Urhobo but the ones you don't added us to their Biafran map abi? Or was it Yorubas or Hausas that drew this map: |
steppins:So this map was produced by afonjas then and not Igbos? Glad to know we are nothing. Keep us from your maps! |
igwebuike01:And you think we don't have Urhobos that can match these people hands down? Let me help you with some: Jereton Marierie David Ejoor Michael Ibru Alex Ibru Chris Okotie Justice Omo-Agege James Ibori Efe (BBN) Alibaba Akpobo Francis Agoda (I Go Dye) Bovi Ugboma Karen Igho Sophie Okonedo Gen Patrick Aziza Godini Darah Sam Oyovwaire Richard Mofe Damijo Felix Ibru Prof. Tanure Ojaide (world acclaimed writer) Justice Esiri Stephen Oru Bruce Onobrakpeya (world acclaimed artist) Blessing Okagbare (world acclaimed female sprinter) Isidore Okpewho (world acclaimed writer) Ben Okri (world acclaimed writer) Igho Sanomi (billionaire and seen as one of Delta's richest men) Gamaliel Onosode AND SO ON! |
igwebuike01:Which referendum? Did we ask for a referendum? Is it not IGBOS that are asking for a referendum? Where have you seen any Urhobo agitating for a referendum? If you have proof that we have ever demanded for one, kindly present it. Unless you want to use weapons on us and FORCE us to take your referendum, kindly retract your words. Referendums are given to those who are interested! When Scotland got her referendum, they didn't force Wales and Ireland to take it. |
Eazybay:Good. You've finally revealed your identity after all. Remain Igbo and cane your lane. Impostor! |
OK I am Igbo.. I didn't do selective translation, I just decided not to give u any leads.. I'm done with this
