OYB_MEND:Its obvious mr sapele spoke out of ignorance. His statement no country has developed (i dont know what he means by succesful development) under millitary or colonial regime is absolutely false.Better to do one s homework than uttering balderdash. |
the whole saga appears to be politically motivated, there are so many fishy questions to be asked : why only after 2 months in office Sanusi saw that his greatest enemies in the industry Akingbola and Cecilia were removed, also why FinBank MD was removed might ring a bell Yaradua s relative was the former MD of Inland bank who lost his job after the consolidation, that the bank chiefs were removed while other banks are being audited also sounds quite unfair.I mean why freeze the accounts of the MDs when there is no reasonable evidence of embezzlement, what happens to the accounts of the Iboris,Abachas,Odilis who have embezzled from the nations treasury, they would not be freezed?I think the EFCC should get their focus right, many of our politicians are economic and financial criminals and they deserve to have frozen accounts, the president inclusive. |
our colonial masters should come back rather than the millitary. |
I find his modus operandi quite questionable, its a shame he has disgraced the apex bank of the nation.I think it right that he himself be relieved of his duty as CBN governor. |
AS operators, regulators, customers and the public take stock of the fallout from the sacking of five banks chiefs, information reaching The Guardian indicated that the action did not actually enjoy the total backing of the apex bank's helmsmen.http://www.ngrguardiannews.com/news/article01//indexn2_html?pdate=220809&ptitle=Why%20Two%20CBN%20Deputy%20Govs%20Lost%20Job |
Dude when your apex bank publishes erroneous names and wrong figures what should the outside world think of the nation?Errors like this that has to do especially with money are supposed to be avoided. If the debtors were supposed to be restricted from leaving the shores of the nation,Ali Dangote could have jetted out of the country while Aliko Dangote would have been held for a crime he knows little or nothing about.Shame on the CBN. |
mr ikeyman nobody is saying the debtors should not pay of course they should pay or face the consequences, what is being said is that the modus operandi of Sanusi is questionable,i hope you comprehend that. |
I can teach basic medical sciences-- Cell biology,Anatomy,Biochemistry,Physiology,Neurobiology,Genetics,Molecular Biology,Biophysics,Microbiology.Le me know if interested |
dude jumping is different from leaping and there is no harm in leaping as long as you look before you do, the CBN definitely made a couple of errors one of which was the typographic error Aliko Dangote instead of Ali Dangote,I mean these are the things you least expect in sensitive matters like this. The manner in which the banck chiefs were removed are also quite questionable,Sanusi got rid of his perenial foes Cecilia and Erastus just like that,i can tell you there is definitely foul play somewhere so ms.fhemmy once again shame on a nation s apex bank |
It should be more than mere coincidence that Sanusi got rid of his two major perenial enemies Erastus and Cecilia just like that barely 2 months after assumption of office, don't let us be fooled. |
Error in List of Bank Debtors= Error in dismissal of bank chiefs.Shame on a nations apex bank. |
Definitely, there is foul play. When the CBN makes errors in the published names of debtors and say they compiled the list of debtors as at May 2009 only to find out that some people have paid their debts as far back as August 2008,what does that tell you.Let us Nigerians not be deceived.Sanusi deserves to be removed himself,we need honest and straight foward men in this nation and not people who will do whatever 'Oga' (Yaradua and his cohorts) orders them to do |
Just wondering how much the various executives had as take home pay while in power and if life will be the same for them after dismissal. |
Someone needs to check Sanusi himself, maybe God will. |
I think Sanusi has a hidden agenda, When he was MD/CEO of First Bank he was at loggerheads with Erastus Akingbola and Cecilia Ibru.He told the Adamawa State Government to withdraw their money from Intercontinental Bank and Erastus Akingbola reported him to the then CBN governor Soludo who brought Sanusi to book.I think it would have been better to have warned these bank chiefs and given the an ultimatum to fix things rather than outright sack,i hope he has nt done more harm than good. |
