Only the hand✋ of Love (according to your profile) can save us all in this country. Corruption in this country didn't start today neither is it ending if the people especially the politicians don't have a mindset change. Billions of naira are wasted everyday on things that are not relevant while millions are facing starvation and preventable illness and Death. It's not really thier fault if you look at it, alot of churches are not teaching her congregation Christ, Abel Damina ministry is one of the few in Nigeria that does. Instead churches are teaching believers to be sin conscious instead of to be Christ conscious. His approach is really the best way to deal with addiction but they don't know.

Funny thing is that the most of the people criticizing him are deep into "bigger" sins like fornication and Adultery even the soo called "holy" pastors are not exempted. I laugh anytime i listen to their self righteous preachings.

What did he say that is wrong for goodness sake? People who don't understand addiction think you can wake up and it will stop. His solution is the most realistic solution I have heard in a whole while.

He encouraged you to spend more time talking with God and continue with your addiction. He knows what time does to anything in life, with time and fervent dedication to the word of God, you will lose the addiction without knowing it. But trust Nigerians (porn addicts too) and their over righteousness to attack him while struggling with their limitations.

Reminds me when Pope Francis said that when a prostitute decides to use latex condoms with all her clients, that her salvation is near, people went on rampage. Imagine someone who didn't care about her life and safety but decided to take care of it, with time, she would understand that condoms aren't enough and eventually stop such lifestyle too

There's something nasty in these breads that we are not being told.

We are doing well, each of us earns almost 85k per year, I'm in IT, she's in healthcare, and we both work full-time.
I am a Christian, I have never defaulted in tithing in the last 5 years. Not once.
She says tithing is my personal 'problem'. She uses the word problem specifically. She doesn't pay tithe.

This is the present sharing agreement, I bring 70%, she brings 30%.
This 70-30 covers the cost of living, groceries, nursery fees for our baby, and other bills.
before this sharing, we both bring equal amounts for the house mortgage and the car.
When her family needs money, she insists that we share it 50-50 based on her culture.

For my cybersecurity certifications, I pay from my less than 20%, but I have never complained. God has been faithful. My belief is that my tithe covers for the family.
The good news is that I won a large sum of money from my savings, tens of thousands of dollars. I intend to pay tithe, and channel most of the money to my professional development so I can earn more. I don't think I deserve that money I won, that money was from God.

To be honest with you bro. You need to take the matter privately to God and let the holy Spirit speak to you. We are only humans here on Nairaland. No matter how we rack our brains to give you a suitable answer to your question it will only be limited due to our finite nature. But charity (love) wins every time.

Bro. I will really need any assistance from you no matter how small to survive this economic times. I'm also a clergy but I am finding things difficult that even feeding is an uphill task.
