Which every civilization, including African civilizations have done, so I don;t know why you are here telling me that.
They've done joined 2-3 people with different mentality together to enable easy division?. cheesy ......or do you think countries like Nigeria being one today was done by coincidence?.

The West wants a peaceful Africa. Dead bodies and refugees can't buy Apples and Laptops and Chevys
🥱Yep....that's why they destroyed cities and carted away artifacts and after which they yolked different religions, race, cultures, languages etc as one to enable easy division if needed in the future and also made it very difficult for them to disintegrate...those are good signs of goodwill aren't they?. cheesy .

You can't blame him entirely though only God knows the extent to which the bank have frustrated him just like Nigerian banks that made him resort to such actions...... usually they will keep on frustrating customers regardless of the efforts and explanations you put in place until you show them that you self get craze for body. grin .

Foreign AffairsIndian Man Digs Up Sister’s Skeleton To Claim Savings by Mattswaggz(op): 11:50am On Apr 28
An elderly man in eastern India stunned bank officials and customers after exhuming his late sister’s remains to prove her death and access money in her account.

The incident occurred on Monday in the Malipasi area of Keonjhar district in Odisha, according to a report by The Hindu.

The man, identified as Jitu Munda of Dianali village, had approached the Maliposi branch of the Odisha Grameen Bank in the Patana block to withdraw about Rs 20,000 from the account of his elder sister, Kalara Munda, who died on January 26.

However, bank officials requested the required documentation before processing the claim.

In a dramatic response, Munda dug up his sister’s skeleton and brought it to the bank as proof of her death, shocking those present.

With no formal education and little understanding of banking procedures, Munda said repeated visits to the bank yielded no result.

I told them she had died, but they did not listen. They kept saying, bring the account holder to withdraw the money. Out of frustration, I dug the grave and brought her skeleton as proof that she is no more,” he said.

The unusual incident prompted officers from the Patana police division to visit the bank after being alerted.

A police official, Kiran Prasad Sahu, said the situation highlighted a communication gap.

Jeetu is an illiterate tribal man. He does not understand what a legal heir or nominee means. The bank officials failed to make him understand the procedure to withdraw money from a deceased person’s account,” Sahu said.

Following police intervention, bank officials assured Munda that the process for accessing the funds would be facilitated in line with due procedures.

The remains were later returned and reburied at the gravesite in the presence of police personnel.

Reports indicated that the situation was further complicated because the nominee on the account had also died, leaving Munda as the sole surviving claimant.

A local official, Manas Dandpat, said the authorities were only made aware of the situation recently.

But west wants a peaceful and prosperous Africa.

Take China. China is where it is today not because the west loves them, but because they invested in tech and they stopped doing the socialist economy you guys love. And industries because they realised that they didn't have enough resources

Anytime I say we should do the same in Nigeria on this site, you guys tell me that we have oil therefore we should develop.

West prefers a first world developed Africa..More disposable income to buy more western goods. More places for potentially cheaper manufacturing. That's why the largest markets for western goods are in China self.

If you no get am, sorry. Like I said many of you know that Tinubu is a bad leader, you don't know why he is a bad leader
Well there is no need going to and fro if you can't see the handwriting on the wall....in as much as we dislike ourselves and we prioritize the things that hardly matter....what you paint the west as towards Africa is far from the truth. It is obvious for all the see....while the Chinese and Arabs(gulf states mostly) tend to be more patriotic and try to put their own interest first in their dealings with the west, Africans to some extent don't and that's some of the difference....their developments is from self efforts and drawing clear and defines lines in their relationship with the west and not because the west would've preferred them like that.

You've just agreed with me that an African currency backed by oil doesn't make sense

At the same time you are disagreeing with me on the need for all African countries to use their natural resources to develop industrially.

So you want us to remain backward.

Right
Lol....I didn't agree with you entirely that it doesn't make sense....it will serve it purpose though temporarily as I said earlier but not entirely senseless.

Secondly my disagreement with you was about your claim that the west wants a peaceful and progressive Africa as it would even aid their interest positively when in reality, from the very moment they came here they've shown otherwise.

Dollar is tied to industrial productivity and other productivity more than oil.

No way the amount of oil would have supported an African currency even if ghaddafi used all of the oil in his hands.

A good African leader developes their blacksmiths. Not living on passive income from a resource that has volatility in price
Mostly true but that doesn't back your initial point.
Foreign AffairsRe: Explosions And Gunfire As Armed Groups Launch Attacks Across Mali(photos) by Mattswaggz: 12:08pm On Apr 27
nairalanda1:
Ghaddafi was a bad leader.

I've said it...Ghaddafi was a bad leader.

I assume you are a christian, so let us turn to the book of 1 samuel chapter 13 vs 19

There were no blacksmiths in the land of Israel in those days. The Philistines wouldn't allow them for fear they would make swords and spears for the Hebrews

Ghaddafi had all that oil money, and instead of using it for things like developing a domestic industry that could produce anything, he was sharing the money

The fact is Libya had less than 6 million people, and was then producing 5 million barrels per day.

Ghaddafi did not develop his blacksmiths. At all

One secondary school teacher of mine once said that the reason why Saddam Hussein lost gulf war 1 (this was before gulf war 2). was because Saddam bought all his weapons from abroad. Including the USA. When war broke out, the USA was able to counter the Iraqui army because they knew the weapons their boys were using

Same thing with Ghaddafi. Same thing

Also keep in mind that oil would soon become redundant. When that happens where would Libya be?

Ghaddafi did not develop his blacksmiths, so he was a bad leader.

And his plan would have created a currency based on oil revenue. That is a flimsy basis for a African currency. At least Euro is based on how industrially produictive the EU is.
It would've still served it's purpose before oil gets obsolete.....isn't the dollar tied to oil as well?. undecided .

1. Resources are cheaper in an era of lack of strife. No need to bribe millitias and bribe warloards and transporting the resources are far far easier

2. Ghadaffy brought his problems on himself. And anyway, Libya issues didn't bring down oil prices in 2012. On the contrary they stayed high for another two years. See the Hormuz issue. Crisis always leads to higher prices of resources
The gadaffi point was libya was doing well and developing in the right direction but due to his patriotism and good ideas for Africa as a whole his case became just like the dog that was given a bad name just to hang it....so stop telling me about anyone actually wanting a peaceful and progressive Africa in heart.

Instability only means increased prices and increased instability

Also, an unstable country cannot buy western products and goods. Refugees don't have the type of disposable income to buy an apple iPhone

A peaceful and prosperous Africa is in the west best interest
In as much as I am not a fan of blaming the west entirely for African woes, I still maintain the stand that they're taking advantage of the average black man's weaknesses and setting seeds of discord to get resources cheap/free....a peaceful and prosperous African is on Africa's best interest....a divided and confused one is on the interest of the wolves always looking for an opportunity to tear her apart.....heard of gadaffi?.

Can a art exist without an artist
Can a movie exist without a producer
Can a bread exist without a baker
Can food exist without a cook or chef
Can a phone exist without a maker
Can a song exist without a musician
Can a car exit without the manufacturer

Then how can you accept humans exist without a maker
And the world exists without the Creator
Can a footprint exist on a beach without someone who make it.
The fact that we can see God doesn't mean it doesn't exist or an imagination of man.

US and west prefer a peaceful and productive Africa to a violent one

Dead people can't buy imported goods and dead people cannot mine raw materials.cheaply and dead people cannot provide cheaper labour for finished goods for export

US and Europe are not fond of Asians either, yet China, Korea and Japan and peaceful. Because it benefits the world and the USA in particular

As an example., if peace reigns in the dr Congo and stability and good governance reigns there , the price of phones and many electronics would be cheaper by far. Because a lot of the raw materials for your phone and computer electronics are mined in the Congo and the instability in the area makes the price of the raw materials produced there rise and rise.

Same issue in places like Sudan and South Sudan. Peace there is vital to oil prices staying low. Apart from the strait of Hormuz.

The West prefers peaceful stable countries. Again. dead people don't trade or buy things. Refugees can't earn money to buy stuff or organise lines of supply or even mine for stuff effectively
You better stop blaming the whites for your problems caused by leaders who prefer sharing money to actual development
There are lots of cases whereby the need those instabilities to get to the resources so it's not exactly how you think it is....🥱.
Not to mention more than one foreign country having an interest in the natural resources of a particular country....each of them could arm different militias to protect their own interest.

You can call it anything you like. Commonsensically, you could have googled it to find out if what I said is true. You just came and started to talk trash. I saw the video of what I am saying. Hundreds of flights cancelled in a day, and people were seen stranded and sleeping on the floors of airports waiting for their flights to come as a result of cancelled flights, blackouts and serious cold all over the place as a result of attacks on heating and lighting facility . What Russians are going through now is same experience they went through during the world war 2 when they were dieing as a result of serious cold. Common sense is not common. When will this war end, ? but there is pressure on Putin to resign because of the Black out experienced from drone attacks of facilities from Ukraine resulting in severe cold without heater. In a day several flights of over 300 are cancelled because of uncertainty. If this war is not ended any moment from now, Putin may not last the next one year . Both sides have lost massively but Putin is feeling the heat more and more everyday.

Foreign AffairsRe: Trump’s Blockade COLLAPSES As Iranian Ghost Ships Bypass US Navy by Mattswaggz: 7:36pm On Apr 23
Razzness:
This analysis of yours is very funny. First of all, Iran is not fighting this war to make money; it is simply in this war for survival. You think Iran is a stranger to economic turmoil. These people were under impossible sanctions for 47 years; they did not surrender, and somehow you think a blockade of two weeks that is not affecting only them but the rest of the Gulf states and the entire world will make them beg for a ceasefire. I am sure even Trump does not believe this.

The funniest part is that you said the US will care less about the energy crisis because of Venezuela. Please delete that statement; it is embarrassing for anyone with some education to make such a statement.
You didn't make any real point here.... firstly you seem to lack proper comprehension skills because I can't remember saying the blockade will make them beg for cease fire so soon.... secondly what they're fighting that war for is non of my concern I am just analyzing the situation here. You're the funny one here thinking that it is safe for any government to lose the major source of their revenue generation when it is not just an external threat but also an internal threat...they'll need to pay workers and run the country and also getting agents by external threats will be much more easier since the population have gotten poorer...just give them peanuts and they'll sell anyone out.

Lastly...and yes the US is in a position to care less about the energy crisis... itself is a big crude producing country and also they've now gotten Venezuela as well.... they'd care less doesn't mean they'll be exempted from global effects of lesser oil supply though before you'll look at it from a non-comprehensive manner again. cheesy ....and also the gulf states don't want Iran to be regional power so if paying the price now and forgetting about the threat ever achieving it's full potential is a possibility now then they'll likely be willing to endure the temporary economic turmoil for a while.
Foreign AffairsRe: Trump’s Blockade COLLAPSES As Iranian Ghost Ships Bypass US Navy by Mattswaggz: 12:03pm On Apr 23
Razzness:
If the US is not careful, Iran will emerge from this war a world power.
The leverage Iran has over the entire world is not moi-moi, o. Just imagine fuel went from N790 to N1300 in less than 2 months. Even though Iran's military is no match for the US and Israel, they find themselves in a strategic position that has forced the US and Israel to exercise a level of restraint we have never seen from them before. The US almost never does a cease-fire. If they commit to a war, they usually see it through even if it takes several years. But with Iran the stakes are too high; that's why they negotiated a ceasefire and even extended it when Iran refused to capitulate.

Imagine if Ukraine had similar leverage over the global economy; the world would not have sat back and allowed Russia to pound them like this. But because the war does not affect anybody outside of Ukraine, everybody is just sympathizing with Ukraine from a distance. Now with Iran, the story is very different; everybody is feeling it.

There is simply no easy way out for Trump here; if you continue negotiating, Iran continues to play hardball. If you continue the blockade, oil prices and global inflation keep rising. If you agree to Iran's ceasefire term, America becomes humiliated. If you send in ground troops, many American soldiers will be lost. If you bomb their power plants and bridges, they will bomb the bridges and power plants of countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait that have been paying you billions for protection. If you withdraw, they will become emboldened and continue with whatever they are doing. Trump must chew one of these bitter pills.
I guess extending the ceasefire is a less bitter pill.
Stop giving Iran false hope.....if the blockade against Iran is very effective then Trump can keep on extending the cease fire while keeping the blockade in place until Iran comes knocking to make a deal because it'll affect them more seeing that their major source of income(oil sale) has been blocked almost completely.

The global economy will continue to bear the burnt of increased energy crisis but the US will care less....they have Venezuela in the bag and sanctions on Russian oil will be lifted which will ease global tensions a little....the world would somehow adjust on the long run while Iran would continue to lose revenue.....either ways, this very idea by Trump is a very good one.
Foreign AffairsRe: Trump Says He Will Extend Iran Ceasefire Until Negotiations Conclude by Mattswaggz(op): 10:37pm On Apr 21
More time for Iran to think things through and make the best decision for themselves because if no deal is made, all hell will be let lose and using human shield will most likely not stop that......almost all the cards are in Trump hands now and he has chosen to be patient with Iran by giving them enough time to chose their path.....well it's up to them now.
Foreign AffairsTrump Says He Will Extend Iran Ceasefire Until Negotiations Conclude by Mattswaggz(op):
President Donald Trump says the US will extend the ceasefire with Iran, at the request of Pakistan, and continue the blockade of Iranian ports.

Here is his statement on social media:

Based on the fact that the Government of Iran is seriously fractured, not unexpectedly so and, upon the request of Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, of Pakistan, we have been asked to hold our Attack on the Country of Iran until such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal. I have therefore directed our Military to continue the Blockade and, in all other respects, remain ready and able, and will therefore extend the Ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted, and discussions are concluded, one way or the other.
