Today’s Nigeria is, much more than ever in our history, blessed beyond measure. This is primarily because of the population dynamics.
No other country in the world currently has a youth population that comprises over 70% of its total population. It is a great blessing that is in many ways unquantifiable, and that any visionary, future-focused leadership will find a great advantage in the course of nation building.

Youth represents strength, hope, and the future. A young working population is a critical success factor, a major indispensable input required for a high GDP output and a strong economic growth for any society. We are so blessed to the point we do not even realise it. For a nation where we do not joke with Faith, it is safe to think of our human capital wealth as the proof that God really believes in the potential of Nigeria.

This is why it is very sad today to see many of our bright young minds, people upon whom the Destiny of this Nation rests on the weight of their visions and ideas, seeking every opportunity possible to travel outside of the country permanently. Countries like the UK, Canada and more, who are short of a young, vibrant workforce, are pulling our youth, all their ideas, and the massive growth potential they hold for our nation. It may not seem like much but if we think of what the global competitive advantage of Nigeria will be among the League of Nations in 2050, 2070, 2090 and so on, we will realise the impact of what we are allowing to happen to us right now.

The sad thing is that these young people are not asking for too much. They are not asking for what Nigeria is incapable of providing them, looking at our wealth as a motherland. The basic things like security, good roads, constant electricity power, fast and reliable internet access, support for startups and so on that are the major raw materials of today’s Digital economy are what they seek abroad; and these are things we can provide here in Nigeria with good leadership.

It is time for us all to wake up. Most Nigerian youths today are not proud of this country. They wish they were citizens of other countries. It is time to think of the younger generation and the multiple others to come, and really make up our minds on the kind of national pride that we want to bequeath to them.
If there is anything the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war has taught us, it is that every sovereign state is primarily responsible for its future. You can get support but, for the most part, you are responsible for the future of your sovereignty. When will Nigeria stop borrowing? When will Nigeria be able to invest in its own strong Defence system, the likes of what the G7 nations have? When will the scale of Nigeria’s industrialisation match the kind that the US, the UK, and Germany of today have? When will we become the hub for foreign direct investment? When will Nigeria become a world power and be able to broker peace among other nations and provide relief in times of conflict? Or is there an unspoken prophecy somewhere that we will always be led and never be in the lead, and that we will always borrow and never lend?

This is your time, Deltan youths! Ponder these things carefully and don’t forget them. 2023 is your year. Let us start with Delta State! We can all see and enjoy the future we have always longed for in this lifetime. Let us MODERNISE Delta State! Get up and take a stand! The time is NOW!

The leadership of Ndokwa Neku Union (NNU) Youth Wing has been asked to unite youths of Ndokwa nation towards achieving common goals that will move the ethnic nationality forward.


Executive Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Youth Development, Honourable Nnamdi Ezechi, gave the charge when the Comrade Ifeanyi Odachi led executive of the youth wing paid him a courtesy visit at his residence in Asaba.


Ezechi said as the apex youth group in Ndokwa land, it behoved the NNU youth wing to show purposeful leadership that would accord recognition to the parent body led by Gen. Mike Ndubuisi (retired), critical stakeholders, clan and community youth organisations across the Ndokwa nation.


He stated that it was better for Ndokwa nation to speak with one voice on issues of common interest, stressing that the youth could do a lot to ensure that the area was not left out in the scheme of things by negotiating better deals for the people through dialogue, when necessary.


The EA congratulated the new executive of the NNU youth wing on a successful election and inauguration, promising to support the group's activities, particularly sensitization programmes aimed at creating awareness on governnent policies and programmes among the youth.


Ezechi reminded Ndokwa youths of the ongoing online voter registration exercise by INEC and urged them to avail themselves the opportunity to obtain their Permanent Voter's Card to be able to vote for candidates of their choice and be voted for during elections.


He said though the group was non partisan, it should assist in monitoring the activities of leaders at all levels as part of efforts to enthrone good governance, ensure equity, fairness and justice in the society.


Ezechi solicited continued support of Ndokwa people for the Okowa administration for the legacy infrastructural projects in Ndokwa nation and appointment of sons and daughters of the area to positions of authority.


Earlier, the Leader of NNU Youth Wing, Comrade Ifeanyi Odachi, said the visit was to introduce the new executive to Hon Ezechi and to thank him for his deep interest in the well-being of Ndokwa youths.


Comrade Odachi stated that the apex youth body would collaborate with stakeholders of youth related matters in the state to secure a better deal for Ndokwa youths and solicited the support of NNU worldwide and leaders in the attachment of set goals.


On the NNU Youth Wing delegation were the Vice Chairman, Ossai Dumbi Marshal; Acting Secretary, Valentine Oyemogum; Treasurer, Udoka Chukwuka; Financial Secretary, Okpoiche Christopher; Organising Secretary, Kester Onwubolu and Provost, Henry Odigwe.

The Delta state Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Comr. Kenneth Okorie has called for synergy among young Deltans, youth groups and the States youth council in a bid to fulfill the mandates of the Council as it affects the interest of the Youths in Delta state.

The Digital Youth Governor made this known at the inaugural Executive Council Meeting/Media briefing of the states youth Council in Asaba.

He noted that the new leadership would operate an open door policy to ensure that the wealth of knowledge which had always been a signature of young Deltans would be maximally put to use. "We have a lot of young Deltans with ideas who have not been given the opportunity to showcase their talents, this is simply because the platform which has been gazetted by parliament to protect the interest of the youths has been sidelined, which ought not to be. This new leadership would fight to ensure that the Youths through proper synergy are not only carried along, but also made an integral part of decision making to ensure that the Delta youths are placed are their rightful position in the state and Nation at large."

While frowning at the attitude of the states Ministry of Youth Developments selection process of participants at youth events, especially the International youth week, Comr. Okorie stated that the continuous sidelining of the Youth council is a dangerous risk to the state, noting that the right thing should be done irrespective of any personal interest.

Speaking also, the Media/Publicity Secretary of the states youth Council, Comr. Tomi Akporoghene Wojuola further decried the neglect of the Youths in policy and decision making, saying that it's perilous to ignore what the Delta youths have to offer.

"Deltans are well known for creativity, our Youths are known worldwide for their creative nature, today, Nigerias movie industry, the Nollywood, can be said to have their headquarters in the Delta state capital. In the entertainment industry, the likes of I go dye, Bovi, Gordons, Dr. Sid, Zubby Michaels, Erriga and their likes are all from the state. If we can harness the potentials of other young people with support from Cooperate bodies and the government, the sky would be the starting point for Deltans. It would be disastrous to neglect the power of Delta youths, doing so would only cause grievous harm to the general society."

He noted that committees set up to drive processes that affect youth should have youth representatives as members, this, he said would bring transparency and trust on the side of the youths, to the process of selection done by such committees.

Through the ballots, the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Delta State Chapter has elected new executives to chart the way forward for the next four years in the state. In a keenly contested election, Comrade Kenneth Okorie emerged as the State Chairman, with Comrade Collins Enekorogha, Comrade Wojuola Tomi Akporoghene emerging as the State Secretary General and Media/Publicity Secretary respectively.

With delegates, heads of Voluntary Youth Organizations and Observers applauding the process, the electoral process was adjudged to be one of the best in recent years, with representatives from the National body commending the electoral committee.

In his acceptance speech on behalf of the newly elected Executive Committee Members, the newly elected State council Chairman, Comr. Kenneth Okorie appreciated the delegates for their reposed confidence in him and his excos, promising to build the Youths which would have a lasting effect on Nation building.

"On behalf of the newly sworn in Excos of the NYCN, I must sincerely appreciate delegates for reposing their confidence in myself and my excos. This clear indication of trust would spur me and my executives to perform better. In our previous administration, it would be noted that irrespective of the unending distractions, we were able to deliver on our electoral promises, even much more than was anticipated. I want to reassure all here present and even those at home, that this new administration would deliver more! We have been empowered with your votes and we would deliver."

I also want to thank God for giving us a youth friendly and listening Governor, who has the interest of the Youths at heart, but we must always ask for more, we want His Excellency to work on empowering more Youths, not Just through the job creation office but also other ministries and the youth council." he said.

On those who lost out the youth Governor called on others who contested to note that his administration wad one for all. He noted that he needs their wealth off knowledge to lead his administration addint that "they are going to be part of me."

Speaking to newsmen after the epoch making congress, Comr. Tomi Akporoghene stated that the newly elected executives would swing into action immediately for the benefit of the Delta state Youths. He noted that the vision of the Okorie led Youths was to build Youths who would be self sustained, civil and also put government on their feet for the betterment for the state.

He further noted that with the agility of the newly elected executives, the Delta state Youths were positioned for a turnaround as it affects their well-being.

Voluntary Youth Orientations present charged the new excos to be diligent in the discharge of their duties, encouraging them to always put the interest of youths first before their personal interest.

Prince Ned Nwoko, it's sad to see that this self-servicer share same name with my charming younger sibling, i wish i could get my brother to take another name, for Jebose is a disgrace to those who bear the name Azuka!

Over the years, i have told myself that as one of my rules of engagement on social media, i will never join issues with anyone, let alone get into a muddy fight on this platform but then every rule as we know is subject to change, right now to hell with civility rules, Jebose doesn't deserve any civilised engagement!

All week, i have been at the epicentre of the issues that has led to the noise making by Jebose, before i tell you guys tales of Ned Nwoko the community developer, let me tell you first the motives behind their propaganda!

Everyday, the near 60 year old Jebose wakes up in a pool of hatred and swim in envy, on a daily for the past one month, he has spent all his time attacking and spreading false narratives about the pristine image of Ned Nwoko, like a failed magician, there is no trick this guy hasn't employed, still it's fa fa fa foul, for the harder he tries, the harder he fails!

At the beginning of his rants, i did all i could to ignore, alas after a while it dawned on me that my silence was giving the local champion an opportunity to shine on the international stage like a celebrity before his minions, the very day i threw one punch and said Jebose enough of these lies, Ned Nwoko is not in your league, he got jittery and like the coward he is, he ran away with his tail between his legs and blocked me, Jebose the coward should be his new name!

People say i am giving this old man free publicity, so much so he is catching in on the moment to release his auto biography but i care less, i will demystify his real motives and show the world his true character!

Before we get to the crux of this piece, take a minute to ponder, why will Jebose use this time to push forward a book at all, where has he been on these years before he was hired to blackmail Ned? According to Spiff of the Johnsons, boys far to think deep, in this case though, one don't need to think deep before seeing that Jebose is a wicked and heartless man, instead of allowing the dead to rest in peace, he chose to use their painful death to his advantage, Jebose what kind of man are you, how will you manage to sleep at night knowing that not only are you disrespecting the dead, you are inflicting also continuous pains on the loved ones they left behind, Jebose know this today, whatever penny you realise from sales of that book is soaked in blood, everyone will call it BLOOD MONEY!

Guys, remember i told you all week i will be reporting from Idumuje-Ugboko and Onitcha Ugbo, i have been there all week and some of the things i heard people say about Jebose is so shocking i can't even say them here, truly nothing will please me more than bash his battered image all over the wall, but hey even Jebose knows his life is scattered already, no need to make it any worse!

Now hear the real gist, remember the impostor king of Idumuje-Ugboko Prince Nonso Nwoko, the guy is currently facing charges of violence, murder and terrorism, soonest judgement will be passed, here is the koko, because they know that with the hard evidence before the court there is no way Prince Nonso will escape jail term, (imagine what will be the headlines; IMPOSTOR KING FINALLY JAILED FOR UNLEASHING TERROR ON HIS PEOPLE), they resorted to avoiding it by any means necessary including blackmail and propaganda!

If you ever thought Jebose had genuine and intentions, please think again, as the only motives behind all the propaganda is the fear of jail time for Prince Nonso, and the fear is what prompted the impostor king, with the help of his brother to recruit the failed and sacked journalist Jebose to help them blackmail Prince Ned Nwoko, their mission is to use propangada as a tool to get the Prince of Philanthropy to sit on the negotiating table, they think with blackmail, Ned will be cowed into withdrawing the charges from the court, even when they know Ned is not a party to the suit, besides the Prince Ned Nwoko i know will never negotiate with terrorists and blackmailers!

Put this into perspective, what connection does Ned Nwoko have to do with the deaths Jebose has been campaigning with? Was it Ned that invited the late Blessing Ogogo to the resort to swim? The other name Jebose has bandied about, what business has Ned got to do with the late Ugo, his death didn't happen anywhere near Ned's property, so what then is the connection? Funny enough the police have thoroughly investigated both cases, still It's not enough for Jebose and his minions, oh yes why will it be, when he has other dubious motives!

Recall Jebose recently made a Facebook post telling his minions that his allegiance is only to Nonso and only the impostor king can tell him to cease fire, to him was acting all wise little did he know by coming to the public to say that nonsense, he revealed to us all that the impostor king is his major supporter, who even told him we want the fire to be ceased, we all are ready for this war, except of cause Jebose has ran out of lies to tell!

Finally, for a man like Jebose who will rather promote crisis instead of peace, for a man like Jebose whose only interest is catching in on the memory of the dead instead of allowing the dead to rest peacefully, for a man like Jebose whose definition of justice is take advantage of helpless people, for a man with no conscience, for a man who has personally admitted to living a scattered life and for a man who claims to be available for the highest bidder, it's clear everything he will ever say about Prince Ned Nwoko will be skewed to the favour of his paymaster!

Everybody should know this today, Jebose is a chronic liar and all the tunes he has been playing for the past one month are dictated by he who pays the piper, nobody should use his rants as an evidence to judge who Prince Ned Nwoko truly is, all Jebose's narratives are biased and false, it doesn't reflect the true position of things on the ground, i have been there, i have seen with my eyes and heard with my ears, everyone is in total agreement that NED NWOKO IS A COMMUNITY DEVELOPER!

The Chancellor of the first Sports university in Africa, @princenednwoko released the Ariel pictures of the Proposed Stars University, Idumuje-Ugboko in Aniocha North LGA, Delta State yesterday to disabused the mind of those who have been feed with lies that no development of such was going on.

The pictures comprises of administrative blocks, lecture hall, canteen and junior staff quarters near completion.

The pictures and video were released on social media by Prince Ned Nwoko’s Media and Publicity officer, @megastar_magazine. It would be recalled that National University Commission NUC delegates were there in March 2020 to access the level of work done to facilitate the approval of Stars University which acronym STARS stands for SPORTS, TECHNOLOGY, ART, RESEARCH AND SCIENCE.

... Commends Scheme For Donating Self Produced Hand Sanitizers, Face Masks To Government

The Secretary to Delta State Government (SSG), Mr Chiedu Ebie has assured that the Government of Delta State would engage the services of NYSC to mass produce face masks for the State in view of the State's drive to curtail the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.

He made this statement while receiving face masks and hand sanitizers produced by corps members serving in the State and donated to the State Government as part of their support towards the fight against Covid-19.

According to the SSG, "We are indeed proud of the NYSC for the initiative taken to produce these face masks and hand sanitizers. Before now people didn't value the importance of face masks or rather, they had different notions about its use, effectiveness and safety. But the face masks have proven its capacity to play important role in the prevention of the Coronavirus pandemic.

"While we must not undermine the preventive capacity of the hand sanitizers too, it is however, more effective to use soap and water to wash one's hands thoroughly for about 20 seconds. It's only when there is no soap and water around to wash one's hands that hand sanitizer can become useful", he said.

While commending the corps members for their innovative skills, the Secretary hinted that the State Government had equally commenced a mass production of face masks to be distributed to Deltans.

He therefore, assured the NYSC of the State's readiness to partner and collaborate with it by engaging the corps members to assist in mass producing these face masks.

Ebie reiterated that the State had had three confirmed cases of this Covid-19 with one fatality, adding that it was no longer rumour that the dreaded disease was in town.

The lawyer turned politician further advised that Deltans and Nigerians by extension, should adhere strictly to guidelines on precautionary measures, maintaining that only by staying at home, washing of one's hands and wearing of face masks would the spread of the virus be effectively managed and curtailed.

Earlier, the State Coordinator of NYSC, Mrs. Olutayo Samuel had lauded the State Government for its proactiveness in the fight against Covid-19, stressing that the corps members were motivated to support in their own little way.

Off course, she gave the credit to the Director General of the Scheme, Brig. Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim whom she said gave the directive for corps members to support the effort of Government at various State levels in fighting Covid-19.

Samuel however, underscored the importance of the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programme (SAED), created in 2012 to train corps members in various trades that would be of benefit to them after service without being over dependent on white collar jobs.

Her words, "We are proud of these corps members for their innovations. At short notice we were able to bring them back on Camp for these productions.

"It was a painstaking production process as apart from mobilizing resources for this, they had to pass through the eye of the needle to procure materials needed for the production in an atmosphere of strict lockdown.

"I want to assure you that the hand sanitizers you are being presented with are of WHO's standard, including the face masks which are 100 percent cotton and have the capacity to prevent 99 percent of any micro organism that could enter the body through the nose or mouth", Samuel explained.

The Udu Legislative Arm has suspended Hon Emmanuel Owholo councillor Representing DSIEC ward 3 in Udu local government area.

The councilor who was suspended on the floor of the house for gross misconduct AND disrespect to the entire leadership of the house according to the councillors, he (Owholo) have been carrying a file containing some fake signatures around in the quest to impeach the leader of Udu legislative Arm RT Hon Karo Goru.

His plot has failed and several attempts to impeach the leader of the Udu legislative Arm, hence he was suspended for going against the house rules.

The matter was also place before the disciplinary committee of the house, which will summon him after serving his one month suspension.

Our attention has been drawn to social media publication credited to one fake Facebook account goes by the name, Prince Brown and his APC cohorts preading fake remour in the up cyber space of the purported arrest of Hon. (Dr.) Afure Henry Sakpra, Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties, Governor's Office, Asaba by Nigerian Police Force, alleging that he was the Mastermind of purchasing guns to cult group in Udu is not true; APC Stop your propaganda, Hon. Henry is not arrested.

It was not in our usual ways to respond to those looking for cheap popularities with their blackmail, but for the interest of our teeming supporters and the general public, we are acting to put the record straight.

First, the Honourable Commissioner is a product of democratic process by one time been Councillor, LGA Vice Chairman, LGA Chairman, currently, Commissioner in the state and Chairman, Udu PDP Campaign Council who has taken PDP Campaign to all Udu Towns and Villages with the view of delivering all PDP Candidates through casting of ballot papers, is too focused to be distracted with APC distractive mechanism of character assassination.

As a Democrat, Hon. Sakpra has never and will never indulge in anything illegal that will undermine democratic process, let alone, involved in purchase of guns as alleged by unpopular and desperate APC for fear of losing elections to more formidable and most accepted PDP in Udu.

Let it be known here that no amount of blackmail, propaganda and even intimidation in high places that will deter our resolved, we mean, Udu people not to vote APC out for its forceful and intimidating tendency and vote in PDP for its peaceful and developmental strides in the state.

At this Juncture, we call our teeming party supporters to be determined, resolute, undaunted with mind fixed for the future of our beloved Udu people to vote for all PDP Candidates for there lays our beautiful and purposeful happy beginning of a new dawn because, Udu people can not afford to pay the price of APC intimidating macheviallian.

Desperation they say is the mother of all crimes and the opposition has taken this desperation to a whole different level. The saying that truth will definitely triumph over falsehood has come into play once again as the arranged set-up and arrest of Engr. Akpevwe Uviejitobor, who is Udu LGA PDP Collation Agent in the 2019 elections by the Nigerian Police at the front Central Bank of Nigeria, (CBN), Asaba where he went to supervise the INEC materials to be used in the LGA for the elections.

The plot was to destabilise the Udu PDP LGA, blackmail Engr. Akpevwe Uviejitobor (Udu PDP L.G.A collation agent) and frame the Honourable Member Representing Udu in the Delta State House of Assembly as well as PDP Party Leaders in the LGA.
The blackmail was hatched by some Opposition bigwigs, little wonder as to why he was hurriedly snapped by the police and the photos sent to the opposition E-Rats.

The Gun was forced on him and an the officer hurriedly snapped him and sent the photos to opposition media team who also shared it online, the officer is currently facing quarrel at the State CID.


It has been revealed that the said gun was a vigilante gun which was planted by a conspirator who is presently on the run for fear of being caught by the police.

It was an obvious conspiracy to destabilise the PDP on the election day. Little did they know that the election will be postponed.

As the investigation continues, more revelations will come out to make Deltans know those who are desperate and will do anything to destroy Udu man just to win elections when they know they have failed already.
