Here are the steps to unlock your phone:
Goto phone dailer, and enter *#27663368378# for the debug service menu.
In "ServiceMode", select [1] UMTS
In "UMTS MAIN MENU", select [1] DEBUG SCREEN
In "DEBUG SCREEN", select [6] PHONE CONTROL
In "PHONE CONTROL", select [6] NETWORK LOCK
In "NETWORK LOCK", select [3] PERSO SHA256 OFF
It should show:
SHA256_ENABLED_FLAG[1]
SHA256_OFF => SHA256_ON
Now touch the first line SHA256_ENABLED_FLAG[1]
It should show:
MENU NOT EXIST
PRESS BACK KEY
Current Command is 116631
Now press the menu button and select "Back"
It should show:
SHA256_ENABLED_FLAG[0]
SHA256_OFF => Not Change
Again, press the menu button and select "Back", and you're back in the "NETWORK LOCK" screen
Press the menu button and select "Back", and you're in the "PHONE CONTROL" screen
Press the menu button and select "Back", and you're in the "DEBUG SCREEN" screen
Finally, press the menu button and select "Back", and you're back in the "UMTS MAIN MENU" screen
Select [6] COMMON
In "COMMON" screen, select [6] NV REBUILD
Now you are in the "NV REBUILD" screen, you should see the following text:

Golden-Backup exist
You can Restore Cal/NV
------------------------------
Now for the final step.
In "NV REBUILD" screen, select [4] Restore Back-up
The button lights for menu and back should come on, and the phone will auto reboot in a few seconds.
Note: chavxxx's post of selecting "[1] Load default NV" DID NOT work for me.

one thing people dont know with apple products is it's not meant to be complex, just simple and fast. 1gb ram is more than enough(it's not android). 720p is enough(how does 4k display help your phone?). we all want more, but apple knows that we need less and like is better. you asked for more and you got the Galaxy S6, yet you're still asking for more. don't hate apple.

I used SP FlashTool. No issues. and it's really stable compared to what people said about the lollipop upgrade. i even streamed 25minutes video with full screen brightness and flashlight on with just 1% battery to see how far it can go. i was shocked.

I change my phone every month or 2 and i'm getting tired. It was once a flagship device that drove me crazy, 2 months later it starts feeling like it's not up to the task and i need to change it. All of you complaining about the battery, seems like you don't know what this phone holds. it's running stock android 5.1.1, that gives the best battery optimization till date. why do you think recent samsung phones like the S6 and note 5 have smaller batteries than their predecessors? it's because they are running Android 5.1.1. i'm Super Hyped because Infinix just made a good move by partnering with G O O O G L E.

What I was trying to say is even if you install mouse driver for ubuntu i doubt if that snapping feature will still work.

I don't use google sketchup so you can try googling the problem but "3D modeling" sounds fun.

it's core i3. i didn't install the driver once after reverting back to windows 8.1 and the gestures didn't work. my main issue was the google sketchup that didn't recognize keyboard shortcuts. cos that is what i use for 3D modelling

ohh you mean snapping (or whatever they call it) that feature only exista in windows 8 upwards, it's not a driver issue it's the OS that doesn't support that feature.

i used the latest version. on my windows 10 and 8.1 i use it to switch between windows. open a specific folder. minimize. i tried sha. what are you using laptop or desktop? and what brand with model? i'm using a lenovo G50-70, 1TB HDD-6GB RAM

by 3-4 finger gestures you mean when scrolling up and down right? if yes then it does without installing any driver. Maybe your ubuntu version is old I used ubuntu 14.04

Another secret is that you should always keep your windows PC updated. It helps a lot. Though you'll have to burn 1GB+

I just did that. The process ran for some minutes and displayed '.net framework 3.5 successfully installed'. But, when I try to turn on windows features, it's still not activated and still requires windows updates. The applications still would not run for the same reason.

Your track pad doesn't use 3-4 finger gestures, cos I can only access that when I install the driver

yeah games don't really go well with ubuntu, i installed google SketchUp once on ubuntu and i couldn't use keyboard shortcuts. had to move back to Windows 10. and my Bluetooth wasn't working fine.

Ubuntu have a lot of softwares (i don't know about games tho) the only problem is you have to install most of them from terminal (command prompt) you can also use ubuntu software manager but most people prefer to stick to terminal. If you're good with terminal you'll love ubuntu or Linux as a whole

Hello. I have some problems with my laptop (hp pavilion dv6). I bought it from someone and it had windows 8 pro with media centre installed. It was doing fine, but it wasn't activated. No MS Word, Excel or Power-point. Also, when I try to install BlackBerry Desktop Software, it requires .NET Framework 3.5. I tried some command line tools from around the web to install it but all failed. It requires internet connection which I don't have. How do I solve this?

then get another battery. it doesn't charge with the normal charger because the battery is not saving the charge, it's collecting it and using it at the same time. but with a desktop charger i will store the charge, but it doesn't last because the capacity of the battery has dropped. So it charges to like 40% and sends a signal that it's full. i hope you understand?
