AllenSpencer: I have already stated that Prohibition of phones does not influence their ranking. Also, there's nothing an alumni of Covenant University has achieved that graduates from other Nigerian Universities haven't. 1 Like 1 Share |

AllenSpencer: A school environment is a simpler example of the larger society and history has proven that one of the foremost things abusers do is to disconnect their victims from the outside world or closely monitor their communication with others. Think of why the Supreme Leader of North Korea banned phones in the country. The major reason they're denied phones is because of their authoritarian founder and totalitarian board. The students are disconnected from any support system outside the environment. For example, If a lecturer slaps a student, there would be no recording. Students will also be oblivious of what is going on in other schools and would not be emboldened to ask for better welfare. If students were allowed to use phones, we'd know the true status of the mass poisoning that has been reported. However, since there are no phones, any report the school management issues to the public is final- exactly what North Korea would do. Dictatorship should not be supported. That is why we're lending out our voices to the students who deserve better. Lexy2014 Lifeinlight 1 Like |

AllenSpencer: Covenant University is ranked higher than other universities because it is well funded. It has a conducive learning environment and world class facilities to support learning. Of course, the source of funding is an open secret. Whether students are allowed to use mobile phones or not does not improve their status. It only paints them like an extreme institution with the potential of producing extremists. 3 Likes |

Fun Fact The worship centre is a potential tourist attraction that will generate revenue for the state and further improve the state's visibility internationally. Think of the project like the Basilica di Sant'Apollinare Nuovo, the Hagia Sophia or Masjid al-Haram. 27 Likes 6 Shares |
