Hi, Please are you an official member of the Powerbox team? What is the 70k charger used for and why is it optional? Please is this a pure sine wave inverter? Lithium ion has fire hazard risks and considering I am a bachelor who lives alone and have to work onsite, I have concerns when I am away form home at work. Where is Powerbox located in Lagos? Thank you for replying.

yeah, you can put a power source into your wall socket at home. Just ensure their is no mains(grid). My area no Nepa. NEPA is disconnected.
Ok so purely charged by solar. Does it suffer recharging during the rainy season when sunlight is less? Where can I find the complete BoQ online plus price? How to purchase? Is the battery Lithium ion or Lithium Iron Phosphate and what is the battery capacity? Thank you for your kind assistance.

ok let me take some pix..very simple setup. Two 150w felicity 12V panels on the roof facing south ward connected in parallel to the powerbox. I didn't even bother to put any breaker. A 1kwh li battery so they say. We all know u can't get 1kw on a 1kw inverter.
Thank you but what is the complete pricing today for the whole setup? I find it strange that they didn't include this info or a breakdown of the setup on their site. Also where to purchase in Lagos.

@mavor

In my area no light for like a year. So I didn't even stress myself, I just connected the output of the box directly into the wallsocket.
Into wallsocket ke or into your switchboard? Abeg I dey confused as I be JJC.

Check my previous post. I'm currently using 1KW system. But you have to add like 2 to 3 more panels 45k*3 (12v/150watts) again to enjoy cause I'm on two panels. So far has been great.

Their site, powerbox.com.ng

Thanks but the powerbox site has nothing on the product or cost. Very weird site homepage. Please advise. This looks like the stop-gap solution I am looking for. I appreciate your help. Also can you please share pics of your own setup.

You have been rude to everyone that has tried to help you in one way or the other on this forum.. If you want an expert, find one and get all your questions answered.. You are withholding info and you want them to answer your questions with little or no idea of where you are coming from.. Bros abeg rest

i can assure you, its only a scammer that can give you what you want for the price you are not seeking to go beyond. Everything cost now...
I understand bro. That is why I am being careful about where I intend to source from. Unfortunately, some people here have misinterpreted my caution and lots of questions as arrogance and unseriousness when it is not the case at all. It is well. Thanks a lot for your assistance and advise. I appreciate.

Shebi one oga at the top told him battery capacity he would need for his load and his response was did he see fridge or AC there and that he needs an expert obviously. I don commot hand for hin matter.
I dont know who's trying to form for by insisting he's getting 5kv inverter/10kwh battery in oct, who cares?
The AC and the fridge can rest till the full system comes later this year. I need a stop gap now. I am simple explaining my situation for better understanding of the context. You talk say I dey form. Na you know. Don't care either way.

You sound frustrated!
Take calculated risk. contact real people not websites, Go to Market to get prices.
Not coming online to form smartness!

No. You are the one sounding frustrated guy. I am very calm here. I can always get a solution either here or offline at my pace. It is not a do or die matter for me. So I don't understand why u dey carry this matter for head. Nigerians have a very poor way of addressing people especially novices when it comes to a particular area they are knowledgeable about. A lot of people here are being helpful and I appreciate that. People like you however are operating on the opposite end of the spectrum. I honestly have no time for your attitude. Please carry go. I WILL NOT BE RESPONDING TO YOU ANY LONGER. Cheers mate!

@Mavor, the truth is, 1.5m can't get you your stop guard. That gaming console alone, the power consumption is worth two of my 219L deep freezer!
You will need to remove that first.
Ok I can remove the console. I rarely use it these days sef as I am so bogged down with work and work training programs. I am more of the 2 laptops and one standing fan plus 6 security external energy bulbs. My fridge is mostly empty as I prefer to eat out. I can also afford to ignore the AC till I get the full system with maybe a 15kw battery in sept/oct. Any further advice you can proffer would be most appreciated. Thanks.

the specs na awuf.. à whooping 6200w of pvs. Smart ac output.. smart monitoring. My only problem is if support is readily available.
I won't buy anything that has no local support presence. Terrible experience to have in Nigeria. I will do my due diligence well. Thanks a lot bro for your feedback.

u get gun? Make we go do robbery. Cause that's the only way out with this your price. Best of luck.
The matured thing would be to advise me on what is feasible and at what minimum cost. Like I said I am looking for a stopgap solution till I buy the main 5kw inverter 10kwh lithium battery this sept/oct. Then I will sell the stopgap sef. There is no need for the aggressiveness in your response. Honestly just don't understand Nigerian behavior. Cheers and thanks for your input.

This looks very good, a bit above my budget but worth considering if it comes with panels. Thank you very much for sharing.

Haba! This is uncalled for na.
He's done nothing wrong but tried to advise you from he's first post which I guess you didn't understand that your budget wasn't going to get you the kind of system to power your stated loads.
We can be more civil.

I clearly stated that my budget for a stopgap system is 600k. In a second post I can push to 800k. I just need something to manage till I buy the 5kw inverter/10kwh battery in sept/oct. I know I am a novice but he can maturedly advise me about price instead of being dismissive because of my proposed budget.

In all I see here about your responses, you don't want help actually, you are here for cruise, you have link to Facebook page, you still want website. I gave you my contact initially you still asked for it again.. lol

The person that create a Facebook page is human, contact them ask for location travel there to see products physical..

My advice to everyone is to ignore, you are not ready to learn or even install anything..
I am not here for cruise. I just don't want to lose from scam sites. That is why I am specifically asking for website. Help where you can, ignore when you can't.

To power those loads for 16hrs during the day alone, you would need about 13kwh of stored battery energy.

1m doesn't even scratch the surface, for the stop gap you have in mind.

Adjust your load profile or expectations from what 800k can get for you, to avoid heartbreak.
Abeg check the load again? Did you see AC or fridge? I need to engage an expert clearly.

Exactly, why I offered my WhatsApp app number for you to contact, there are things I may need to explain properly, this group is a DIY group, and the purpose is to do things yourself, that 5KW inverter and batteries, can be gotten very cheap the DIY way!

I will not disclose this here. As you can see people are posting ads here for finished products. you already have an idea of what things cost.
DIY is a way if you have time to wait.
Please share your Whatsapp number. Thank you

This alone, you need to plan for 3KWH Generated, a PS5 consumes about 160 to 200w. with your budget just was till December.
1KW Panel will achieve that, 300K is already gone, so the installer's quotation might be very appropriate!
I need something to use till September or October when I buy the 5kw inverter system and I sell the stop gap. I can push my budget to 800k. I don't know what 3KW generated means. I am not an expert so some of these terminology are alien to me.

declare your budget.
600k for a temp stop gap solution pending when I purchase the 5kw system before Dec. The stop gap solution should be solar recharge, LiFePo4 battery, be able to carry 2 laptops, 1 standing fan, one 55 inch LG smart TV, one PS5 console at least 16 hrs in a day and 6 white energy bulbs security lights switched on at night.
