Cattle colonies are to be built only in states that have agreed to provide land for them. Most states in northern Nigeria have done this so your fears that it would somehow spread down south are unfounded. Also cattle colonies and ranches are the same thing, only the colonies are larger and more encompassing

Trading or market place is a total different issue altogether. Markets does not require 50,000hectare of land in every state of the federation for the Fulani man.

Cattle colonies are alien to southerners and we will resist any attempt to impose it on us under any guise. There is a great difference between cattle colonies and ranching. Pakistan is the only country with cattle colony and such an arrangement can never ever work in Nigeria. Like I said earlier, ranching is the beat option and global best practice .

You are so so wrong on the cattle colonies thing. Cattle rearing is a private business while should government establish cattle colonies for cattle rearers.It does not make sense. We eat pigs down south here, is the F.G going to establish pig colonies all over the North for Southerners . what about poultries,what about the bush animals rears,and so many others.

The F.G has failed and is still failing in its responsibility of providing conducive environment for business to thrive. the FG should be an unbiase arbitar and while the solution to herdsmen madness remain RANCHING.

Please I drive a small 3 series probably 99 or 2000,I was having issue with noise coming from the back tyre by the driver's side,I took the vehicle to mechanism who checked the complains and resolved that the bearing is cause of the noise and also a leakage from the exhaust pipe. He changed the bearings and Axle and also claimed to have welded the exhaust pipe.

However, the noise is worse off now and its even more pronounced, the tyre at the back on the drivers side n other things is affecting the performance of the vehicle.

Please send me your address so that I can bring the vehicle for repair in ur workshop .

Ranching is the answer!!

The govt need to compell the cattle rearers to buy hectare of land in the forest. This will prevent the cattles from roaming about and destroying people's livelihoods.Also it would prevent frequent clashes with the farmers.

For example, the pig farmers have pig pen,the chicken rearers have poultries,the cattle reares should have their own ranches.

We are tired of the frequent loss of human live over cattles. Theere is need for govt to curtail the menace of the fulani herds men.
