Well Till you have an official claim, that's a Redmi Note 7... There are more than 5 new videos from different channels reviewing the phone and I have not seen anything different.

Besides, what prove do you have?, your answer does not still justify your claim

If I get this phone I'll be satisfied. I hate changing phones frequently, xiaomi tried abeg pricing and everything.
I was already planning to get the Huawei Y9 for myself because of the bezels, I had a few drawbacks but with this note 7 , everything falls into place , usb-c , fast charge , infrared , screen ratio , processor+ battery, then MIUI .
Abeg I'll wait for it joor

I also want to see what the pro has to offer before taking any step... We gotta wait

Someone just said the 48MP is just a marketing gimmick, says it's equivalent to 12MP with some little adjustments

Redmi 6 pro has a 'lower processor' as compared to Redmi Note 5... I know

But I would rather go for a 'much more higher' processor than settle for a 'little upgrade'? The margin between these two devices ain't that wide

Other reasons why I will still choose the former over the later is the screen to body ratio difference being better on the Redmi 6 pro, plus I kinda like notch.

It's my personal choice

Note 5 has a higher processor, but I will choose Redmi 6 pro over it anyday.. You know why? I don't consider SD 636 as a major upgrade from a guy coming from SD 625. Would rather go for a phone with a much more higher processor starting from SD 660

Just 4hrs playing time after which you will have to charge it again... You can get a better Bluedio T4s or Bluedio TN2 for same price and perhaps less for the latter
