PetsTop 15 Dogs With Strongest Bite Force by maxevans(op): 1:55am On Feb 24, 2022
There are some dogs that have a stronger bite force than the numerous dog breeds that exist today.

For today’s post, we’ll talk about the top 15 dogs with the strongest bite force.

Do you know why it’s important to know how strong your dog’s bite can be?

Anyways, knowing your dog’s bite force will allow you to determine how dangerous they can be, what toys are best suited for them and what kind of training you should provide them.

Dog’s bite force is measured in psi or pounds per square inch and this is the unit used to calculate a dog’s bite force.

The pressure can vary per dog, what’s bitten, and their emotions. To give you a better picture; a lion has a bite force of 650 psi.

So are there dog breeds that have higher psi than lions?

15. American bulldog

The American bulldog has a 305 psi of bite force. They are strong and muscular and can be intimidating to strangers, making them great watchdogs.

This breed, on the other hand, has a soft spot for children, and they are bright and eager to please, making training quite easy.

However, this breed does thrive well in their family’s presence, but, if left alone for long periods of time they get bored and engage in destructive activities like chewing, biting, barking excessively, and digging.

14. African Wild Dog

The African wild dog is not your normal home pet; it belongs to the unusual category of cape hunting dog, an ultimate hunter. The bite force of this breed is said to be 317 psi.

A hyper carnivorous mammal, 70 percent of these dogs’ diet consists of meat.

African wild dogs are social animals who live in packs, they are agile and excellent hunters.

These breeds have powerful jaws that can break even a deer’s bone.

13. Siberian Husky

The Siberian Husky is known for being a vocal dog and has a powerful bite force of 320 psi.

While they may have a high biting force, this breed is a good-natured companion that is guaranteed to entertain you with its amusing and strange voice.

They adore humans and get along nicely with little children and other household pets.

12. Rottweiler

Rottweilers are tough and muscular, they have great instincts and reflexes, which is why they are often used as police dogs.

They aren’t just agile and athletic, they have a powerful bite force of 328psi.

They’ll make excellent guard dogs provided you train them well. A term used to describe them are fearless and alert.

Proper training is necessary to keep them in good behavior, they have the tendency of becoming aggressive if not properly trained.

If faced with a threatening situation you can rely on this breed when it comes to protecting your family and your property.

11 LEONBERGER
A dog with enormous size leone Bergers resembles lions however these dogs are as adorable and gentle as teddy bears.

You don’t want to mess with these dogs, though, because their biting force is 399 psi.

It’s also crucial to remember that these dogs chew and bark, so you’ll probably want to get them a high-quality toy that will last a long time.

10. Akita Inu

The Akita Inu, a dog with a bite force of 400 pounds per square inch, is instinctively suspicious of strangers, yet provides its owners with extraordinary affection and loyalty.

Strangers will be deterred by a dog with a robust physique, but if the intruder persists, they are searching for trouble because this breed will not back down when provoked or threatened.

The good news is that these dogs will not attack or bite until absolutely necessary.

9. Wolf Dog

The mating of a wolf and a domestic dog is the result of a wolf-dog. The biting force of a wolf-dog is 406 psi, making it more violent than a conventional dog breed.

However, it is difficult to predict how a wolf-dog will grow up because their temperament varies greatly.

Wolf dogs are prohibited or authorized in several nations because some people believe they are fantastic pets and others say they are ferocious and dangerous.

8. Dogo Argentino

The Dogo Argentino is native to Argentina, has a biting force of 500 psi, and is known for its hunting capacity and ability to protect its owners.

This breed is known for its quick reflexes and sturdy body which is why they are most feared by people who do not know them.

However, with proper training, the Dogo Argentino is a devoted guardian who will keep you safe while you sleep.

without further ado let’s continue.

7. Dogo Canario

The Dogo Canario was bred as a military dog and possesses a bite force of 540 psi. They are very aggressive and

As a result, they are prohibited in various nations, despite their popularity in the Canary Islands, where they were developed.

For those who chose to keep them, Dogo Canario requires a lot of mental and physical stimulation.

For these dogs to avoid becoming violent and overly aggressive, early training and socialization are extremely important.

6. English mastiff
The English Mastiff is a large dog, calm and gentle, and caring towards children.

They tend to be lazy most of the time, and would rather stay with their owners all day than go out for an exercise.

Having a powerful bite force of 552 psi, these dogs need to play with toys. They make excellent family companions but do not get along well with neighboring dogs.

5. Tosa Inu

Honest, loyal and proud.

The bite force of Tosa Inu is 556 psi, and that is why they are fifth on my list. Unfortunately, because they are stereotyped as ferocious aggressive, and highly dangerous dogs, the Tosa Inu is outlawed in various nations

4. Dogue de Bordeaux

Also known as the french mastiff the Dogue de Bordeaux shares the spot with the Tosa Inu, with both dogs having a bite force of 556 psi.

While this breed has a strong bite force they are quite calm and lazy inside the house.

They are best suited for laid-back people, this breed is also tolerant of kids so long as they are not hurt or provoked.

The Dogue de Bordeaux will not bite.

(3) Cane Corso
Down to our third spot is the Cane Corso. With an astounding bite force of 700 psi, despite having a bite force that is much greater than a lion this breed is actually loyal, affectionate, obedient towards its family smart, and highly trainable.

The Cane Corso is an excellent companion for the right family just make sure that they are properly trained and socialized early to reduce their tendency to be overprotective

2. American Bandogs
The American band dog has a bite force of 730 psi. A dog with a bulky appearance is enough for intruders to run away if they see this breed waiting for them. It only takes one glance to know that this is not a breed that should be provoked or messed with.

1. Kangal

Earning the first spot on our list and the dog with the strongest bite is the Kangal with an outstanding bite force of 743 psi.

It is essential that this breed has sufficient training and socializing because they might get aggressive toward strangers.

Moreover, Kangals are also known to take down prey with their strong body and powerful jaw not to mention that they’re also quite fast.

It is important to note that even though these dogs need a lot of attention and affection, it also needs proper training and early socialization. This will help them behave well among people and other dogs.

Any dog can become vicious dangerous and aggressive if they’re not raised well.

And there you have it our list of the top 15 dogs with the strongest bite force.

PetsHoney Badger Or Electric Eel - Which Is Tougher? by maxevans(op): 5:55pm On Feb 22, 2022
It is important to note that the Honey Badger and Eel both live on separate continents. And so, this is a hypothetical fight.

Habitat
The Honey Badger can be found in Africa and the Electric Eel lives in the Amazon i.e South America.

They could only fight if the honey badger got into the water with the eel. The eel would keep shocking the badger until it got out of the water or until it died.

Which animal is Tougher – Honey Badger or Electric eel?

Since the honey badger is an air breather, it would not be able to easily get at the eel, while the eel could detect the badger’s presence in even muddy water, and keep shocking it.

So in the Honey Badger vs Electric eel in Epic Battle to the Death. The electric eel wins that one.

What animals can survive an electric eel sting?
Some animals, Apes, hippopotamus, and Elephants, can use insulation to deal with electricity and hence can survive stings from an electric eel.

A honey badger may not be able to. It would get shocked and find something else to eat.

It is also possible that the honey badger would probably kill the eel by ripping it apart and inflicting bite wounds, but when it does, the eel will electrocute it to death.

Reason why a Honey Badger would kill an Electric eel
Honey Badger can wrestle the world’s most venomous snakes and still come out victorious, Badgers can survive attacks from Lions, hyenas, and leopards.

Honey Badger can survive attacks from Giant hornets, Bee stings, scorpion stings, and all manner of venomous creatures.

It is still a surprise as to why a Honey Badger isn’t Immortal. Just like every living thing It’ll die eventually.

The Honey Badger can live for up to 24 years in captivity.

Reason why an Electric Eel would kill a Honey Badger

Now, let’s talk a little about an Electric eel as well. The name Electric eel can be really confusing, one might think it’s an eel when in fact it’s a fish with a volt of up to 860. The sting is powerful enough to incapacitate a horse.

An Electric eel is considered a formidable creature i.e no animal can feed on them. They have no natural enemy in their habitat.

No animal can devour them and that’s because of the powerful electricity generated through their body.

Any animal that comes close to an electric eel dies of shock or flees away, and this includes humans.

Can an electric eel kill you?

No – There’s no record of humans dying from an electric eel sting. Worst case scenario is heart failure, respiratory distress and possibly drowning as a result of an electric eel stunning jolt.

Electric eel predators?
The electric eel has no natural predator in the wild, and since it bases in Amazon, no creature in the Amazon rainforest can kill an electric eel

However, in a hypothetical fight, I wrote an article on What Animals could defeat an electric eel?

I made mention of Honey Badger, Elephant, Humpback whale, and porcupines. I also believe a Hippopotamus should be included on that list.

And this is my reason. From what I stated above: I believe some animals, apes, hippopotamus, and elephants, can use insulation to deal with electricity.

These animals have thick impervious skin that can deter foreign objects from penetrating their bloodstream.

These animals can withstand electricity far better than most animals including humans for sure.

And so, it’s possible that they can kill an electric eel before the electric eel kills them.

Do you think it’s possible to survive an electric eel attack?
Although there's no record of humans dying from an electric eel, there are records of humans drowning in water as a result of electric eel shock
What about a Honey Badger - Can it survive an electric eel attack?

I’m only a passionate student of wildlife. I would love to hear your opinion on the matter.

Thanks.

PetsRe: How To Choose The Perfect Dog Breed. by maxevans(op): 6:16am On Feb 21, 2022
waleyp:
Hi guys
Pls for a person that is willing to get a dog for the first time. A female  Boerboel...(1-3)months old.
What are the things to look out for to get a good Boerboel and what are the prices
(2) how much should be budgeted monthly for feed
(3)cost of vaccination and other things.
4) after how many months can the female be ready for mating...
5) how to train them
I would like to ask, what's your purpose for getting a dog? Is it for security reasons, or to have as a friend? Remember, all dog breeds are different. You must know what dog breed is best suited for your environment.

Now, you made mention of a Boerboel, Do you know that a Boerboel dog was originally bred to protect farm animals from hyenas, lions, and all manner of deadly wildlife.

So, this means that a Boerboel would be an aggressive dog by nature, but it can be tamed if you have what it takes to be the Alpha (i.e the Dominant male).

For a Boerboel dog, you should budget from 200+ upward, it is a rare breed, agile, and worth the money.

Feeding a Boerboel dog should be the same way as feeding any other dog. Unless you want to add supplements to the food. Also, while getting a dog, be sure to have a very good veterinary doctor.

You can learn a lot from Cesar Milan - A dog whisperer and professional trainer on how to tame an aggressive dog and how to be the dominant alpha.

Check out below the beautiful piece of information and Cesar Milan video that will help you greatly.

PetsHow To Choose The Perfect Dog Breed. by maxevans(op): 4:47am On Feb 10, 2022
Here is a great guide that will help you choose the perfect dog breed.

Dogs are loyal and intelligent animals. They offer unconditional love, devoted companionship, and constant entertainment.

But with hundreds of dog breeds to choose from, which breed would suit your lifestyle and needs? let's find out.

Guard dogs

Some dogs have an innate instinct to defend their house and family, which makes them great guard dogs.

Guardian dogs are devoted, brave, strong, and watchful.

Guardian breeds are ideal if you want a dog that can not only notify you when a guest arrives but will also instinctively know when to defend you from a potentially dangerous scenario.

Rottweilers, Boxers, German Shepherds, and Doberman Pinschers are just a few examples. Because they don't trust strangers easily, these dogs are natural protectors.

Due to their power and size, these breeds require adequate training and socializing.

labrador retriever, Newfoundlands huskies, or pugs aren't a good fit though.

They are just too playful and friendly, they will joyfully welcome intruders with a wagging tail and slobbery tongue.

Family-Friendly Dogs

If you have a big family full of children or just welcomed a newborn, you want a dog that is friendly, outgoing, and gentle during interactions, they should be highly social and eager to please.

It's a known fact that dogs love children, however, a labrador or golden retriever would be best in this situation.

These breeds are sweet, playful, and love being part of a family.

If you need a smaller breed, you can go for a beagle or standard poodle, these dogs are great with children because of their cheerful affectionate, and friendly temperament. Huskies aren't a good fit though because they love attention so much and are agile

This breed is exceedingly difficult for new dog owners to train. Huskies aren't aggressive at all but it doesn't mean

you can leave them home alone with your small children. Huskies are big, playful dogs and can express their emotions by jumping at young kids.

This may unintentionally hurt or scare children, so you'll need to teach your dog to show their feelings in the proper way.

And if you like chihuahuas, you should think twice here, these dogs are the smallest dog breed and are aware of their fragility and that's why they don't particularly trust children.

Some kids can perceive this dog more like a toy than a living being, besides, the chihuahua is attached to one owner and may compete with your kids for care and affections.

Dog breeds that don't smell

Here are breeds of dogs to choose from that don't smell, a Bichon Frise, Doberman, husky, poodle, schnauzer, Shih Tzu, Maltese, dachshund, or Havanese. The secret is in their coat texture and quality.

These dogs' coats produce less dander and natural oils and with less fluff to their coats, dirt, and debris particles don't easily attach to their fur which prevents unpleasant smells from building up over time.

Bassett hound falls into the smelly dog group though hounds have coats designed to be weather resistant which means they are oily and release doggy odor.

They also have a lot of loose skin, big ears, and lots of energy. It's no wonder that they can get worked up into a sweat easily and be susceptible to doggy odor.

Likewise, pugs and bulldogs have wrinkled heads that can trap food, dirt drool, and moisture which can produce a gassy, unpleasant odor, and odiferous. This is as a result of their body composition.

Dogs that don't shed

If you don't enjoy cleaning copious amounts of dog hair, that does not mean you can't have a dog.

Here is a list of dog breeds that shed less coat in your homes, a poodle, schnauzer, Yorkshire terrier, Shih Tzu, Boston terrier, Maltese, or Bichon Frise.

Most poodle crossbreeds such as labradoodle, Pushon, or Spoodle are also a great choice.

These designer crossbreed dogs draw the low shedding, low dander quality of the poodle.

Single-layer coat breeds are commonly associated with minimal shedding qualities. Instead of fur, they have hair.

This means like humans, the breed loses a small amount of hair every day, but they don't really shed.

You still need to brush them, but they are less likely to shed on your sofa and remember, non-shedding dogs are commonly referred to as hypoallergenic dogs.

Dander, which is attached to pet hair is the main cause of allergies. Since non-shedding dogs don't shed as much hair and dander. They're a fantastic choice for allergy patients.

On the other hand, breeds with double coats, such as retrievers, German shepherds, Siberian huskies, and corgis, have protective multiple-layer coats that shed heavily.

Dogs for Apartments

When choosing a dog for an apartment what matters is not their size, but their temperament.

Many large breed dogs have lower activity levels and are more than happy to lounge on your couch.

Dog shedding, noise level, and energy requirements are critical factors to look over.

Before you commit, you'll want a canine that doesn't bark incessantly and is polite and friendly when meeting other people in the elevator lobby and on the stairs.

Shih Tzu's, bulldogs, pugs, and Bichon Frise make excellent companion dogs for condominiums or apartments.

They adjust well to small surroundings, and a simple walk around the neighborhood is generally enough to keep them fit and healthy.

Greyhounds are also a good option, despite their size, these cuddly breeds are lazy so they just need one good walk every day to wear them out.

They're also quiet and don't shed much. Boston terriers and basenji's are also low-shedding friendly dogs that are quiet and don't annoy your downstairs neighbors. Chihuahuas aren't a good choice here.

Although chihuahuas are very small and tiny, they can be territorial and untrusting to strangers.

These noisy puppies are better suited to households without close neighbors because they bark a lot

They have a lot of energy considering their small size and sometimes even have aggressive territorial attitudes that can lead to conflict with your neighbor's dogs.

Likewise, beagles are famously loud barking dogs who don't do well with neighbors.

Dogs that you need for cold climate

These breeds prefer cold climates since they have a thick double coat and more body fat, your options include Malamute, Husky, Saint Bernard, or Samoyed.

Dobermans and chihuahuas are not the right choices for cold weather though, they hate the cold more than anything since they have thin fur, short coats, and typically less body fat.

Dogs that do well in a hot climate
Dogs don't have sweat glands, so they don't have it so easy when it comes to cooling down in a hot environment.

surprisingly, many short-haired breeds would seriously struggle in hot weather as tolerating hot temperatures depends not only on the coat but on the facial structure and the size of the breed.

Dogs with long noses and short hair are generally better suited for warmer temperatures.

pushed in face breeds such as pugs, bulldogs, Pomeranians, and boxers are extremely prone to heatstroke due to their narrow airways and nostrils.

Likewise, some long hair breeds such as huskies, Shih Tzu, or Alaskan malamute have very thick coats.

So, they wouldn't be comfortable in hot environments.

It is important to keep these dogs indoors when it is hot outside, provide them enough shade, plenty of water and brush them out frequently to reduce the risk of overheating.

Dogs for seniors

Are you retired? do you have enough time to spare daily? if yes, getting a Boston terrier, pug, Maltese, Bichon Frise, or

Cavalier King Charles spaniel is the right option for you because they really don't need much exercising, they are affectionate and happy dogs.

You probably won't find a good fit in large dogs because they are very active and need a lot of exercise.

Larger dogs are also more difficult to control around other dogs especially if other dogs want to fight.

Dogs for multi-pet households

If you have other pets in your home, then choose a calm and welcoming pet, you don't want constant fights between your pets, right?

Retrievers collies, spaniels, and poodles won't mind sharing the home with other breeds, they love to have company.

Dog breeds that are highly competitive and hostile to other pets in your homes are Pitbull terriers, Doberman pinschers, Akita Inu.

These breeds have beautiful personalities but are well known for being standoffish around other dogs.

Dogs for active owners

Most dog advice comes with the phrase "choose a dog breed that fits your lifestyle".

While this might be easy for some people, an athlete looking for a companion to tackle endurance sports like cycling, running and backpacking is going to need a dog breed that can keep up physically, and mentally.

If you are looking for an athletic and high-energy pooch, who you can take with you for morning runs then you should consider getting a pointer, border collie, or an Australian shepherd.

They are built for running, if you want a smaller companion, consider a Jack Russell terrier, which is also fit for the morning run.

Dogs who have short noses won't be a good fit, though these include pugs, bulldogs, french bulldogs, Shih Tzus, and any other dog breed with a pushed-in face.

These dogs' respiratory tracks are in a smaller space which means they have more difficulty breathing and overheating quickly, plus these stocky dogs can't run fast.

Dogs for first-time owners

If you haven't had a dog before then it's safe to start with a labrador, Golden retriever, Cocker Spaniel, Shih Tzu, or poodle.

These breeds are friendly, intelligent, and relatively easy to train.

On the other hand, Shiba Inu, beagles, huskies are very stubborn. Difficult to train and need more patience.

They make for great dogs but, perhaps are not perfect for first-time dog owners.

The rottweiler may also not be a good fit these dogs will instinctively, see themselves as the guardian of the pack.

Rottweiler has a territorial nature that makes it aggressive to strangers and overprotective.

You would need continuous training and socializing to keep them calm and acceptable and this should begin with the puppy stage.

Dogs for busy owners

One of the biggest problems that busy dog owners face is spending enough time with their canines.

All dogs have lifelong emotional needs and require constant socializing but some breeds are more independent and better fit for busy owners who have mixed up schedules.

If you're always at work then you should get a Shar Pei or a basset hound.

Do not get Retrievers or collies, they are not a good match because these breeds enjoy and demand constant socialization.

Remember, dogs are pack animals and they all need attention and affection.

You shouldn't get one if you won't be able to spend at least some time with your furry friend

you may want to consider getting a cat, though in general, cats are more independent creatures and typically don't mind if you're not around.

Lapdogs

For maximum snuggle time, do you need a cuddle buddy? These types of dogs are comfortable resting on the couch with you when you are reading, watching movies, or relaxing.

Consider having the french bulldog, Maltese bichon, Frise Havanese, and Shih Tzu.

Pets10 Fastest Birds In The World by maxevans(op): 3:39am On Jan 29, 2022

now Read them yourself and find out which is the fastest.

(10) Anna's hummingbird
You've surely seen many of these little ones in the middle of your city, the countryside, or perhaps even the jungle

hummingbirds besides being small and adorable birds are pretty difficult to see up close right? they flutter their

wings so fast that if you want to take a picture they fly away and you don't even have time to take out your phone

Anna's hummingbirds can fly up to 89.5 feet per second which is about 61 miles per hour. It's quite fast and known for using its speed to court females.

How could she not be impressed? an anna's hummingbird flutters its wings 20 to 50 times per second and sometimes

up to 100 times.

Researchers have proven this by taking pictures at high speeds, imagine the energy these little ones need to flutter so much.

(9) Grey-headed Albatross

This gray-headed friend is from the albatross family it's a large bird and a fan of the cold southern seas

you can recognize it as an adult since it has a gray head with thick black underwing margins.

It's 32 inches long and about 7.2 feet in wingspan, its weight ranges from 6.2 to 9.7 pounds.

It is big but that doesn't stop this our southern friend from flying at great speed to hunt its prey which is mostly

fish, squid, and krill.

The grey-headed albatross can reach an incredible speed of 78.9 miles per hour. It can also dive as deep as 23 feet into the ocean to fish but doesn't do so frequently.

(cool Red-breasted merganser

This bird is a medium-sized sea duck with a long narrow and serrated bill, the most outstanding feature of this

duckling is that shaggy press that gives it a unique and cool look it's as if it used waterproof gel to have spiky hair.

The red-breasted merganser is native to northern Europe, Asia, and America as well as parts of central Asia, it usually eats fish by diving with its wings.

But what's most surprising about this bird is its flying speed since it can reach 80 miles per hour not bad for a little duckling.

(7) Spur-Winged Goose

This is a pretty weird-looking goose just look at it, instead of showing a classic elegant look and beautiful colors,

It's ugly and dark. This bird is endemic to Africa, it's about 30 to 45 inches long, and weighs between 8.8 to 15 pounds.

Although it can sometimes reach 22 pounds this large goose can clock a speed of 88 miles per hour which is why the flight of this African spur-winged goose will leave you speechless in the middle of the wetlands of the continent

(6) Rock Dove

Colorful and invasive you most certainly have seen this buddy anywhere in the world walking around and eating

everything in its way the rock dove is about 11 to 15 inches long and has a wingspan of 24 to 28 inches.

Something interesting to note is that wild ones have a weight ranging from 8.4 to 13.4 ounces.

While domestic or domesticated ones yes those you see on the street can weigh more and be fat with a population of

millions across the world it's considered a very skilled pigeon.

The most surprising thing about this winged friend is that its speed can hit 92.5 miles per hour but despite this, it's still preyed upon by many bigger animals like some on this list.

Unfortunately, this bird has a bad reputation for being a carrier of diseases like avian influenza so you'd better be a little careful

(5) Frigate bird

This is a family of light and large birds full of surprises not only do they stand out for their

monochrome colors but also the puffy gullar sax males have displayed in plates.

They all have giant wings with an incredible 7.5-foot wingspan and their skeletons barely weigh 4 ounces.

It's so light it can soar smoothly over the sea at an unbelievable speed of 95 miles per hour looking for its prey.

The frigate bird usually attacks other birds to make them release their fish so it can catch it before it falls into the water they're very skilled thieves aren't they?

(4) Eurasian hobby

A small falcon native to Europe and Asia, the Eurasian hobby is a migratory bird that flies over long distances as it

makes a trip to Africa during the cold winter.

It's 11 to 14 inches in length with a wingspan of 29 to 33 inches and a weight of around 6.2 to 10 ounces, the most remarkable feature about this bird is its speed.

As a good falcon, it's quite fast and hits 99 miles per hour.

Fun fact, There's a game called cebutio which is like foosball and it's named after the scientific name of this bird how interesting that a sport like a game of soccer and falcons are related right?

(3) White-Throated NeedleTail

This is one of the largest swifts of nature for its 7.4 to 7 point inches in length and its wingspan of 19.6 to 20.8 inches.

However, its speed is rather surprising. This Asian bird can reach an incredible speed of 105 miles per hour in horizontal flight.

This makes it pretty fast which is why it spends most of its life hunting fast insects.

It usually migrates from Siberia Mongolia or japan to the rainforests of New guinea or even Australia if you're lucky enough you could see this bird in Europe or somewhere in Asia.

(2) Golden Eagle

This is a very popular bird, especially in Mexican mythology. Its descending flight represented the

light shining upon the earth and the advent of life energy, because of its sacred power there were elite armies during

Aztec times called eagle warriors which were as fearsome as this super fast eagle.

The golden eagle is a species that reaches up to 39 inches long and its wingspan can exceed 7.5 feet.

This predatory raptor flies low over cliffs, soars high hundreds of feet in seconds, close their wings, and plunges at an incredible speed of up to 200 miles per hour.

The golden eagle can watch absolutely everything from its nest and nothing escapes its sharp and almost perfect sight, which is one of the best in the animal kingdom.

Imagine being their prey and being unlucky enough to be hunted in a second without even noticing.

Bonus

Common ostrich

This is the fastest bird on the ground, although it doesn't fly, it's still a bird and you bet it can run.

The common ostrich native to Africa is so large it can be up to 9.84 feet tall and weigh about 396 pounds.

As you know its wings don't let it fly but do propel it to sprint, plus its long legs are perfect to clock a speed of 60

miles per hour for a short time.

Now it's time to meet the bird that can be as fast as one of those European sports cars you always wanted to have.

(1) Peregrine falcon

With a body of 13 to 23 inches and a wingspan of 29 to 47 inches, this is a ruthless and fast hunter above all.

These predatory raptors hunt from above and after spotting their prey it drops into a steep dive that can top the incredible speed of 240 miles per hour.

It carries its name with pride since it lives on absolutely all continents except for cold Antarctica they can travel an incredible distance of 15, 534 miles in a single year while migrating, they prefer wide-open spaces like coasts though you could see them in the tundra deserts and even skyscrapers.

Don't be surprised to see a hawk eating pigeons in your city.

This swift buddy has been a good friend of man for falconry and used in symbiotic art for many centuries.

Did you think birds weren't so fast?

well, they are and they only need their wings

if you enjoyed this article please don't forget to comment. Thanks.

PetsPITBULL Vs ROTTWEILER – Which Is More Powerful? by maxevans(op):
The American pit bull terrier is a companion and family dog breed. Originally bred to “bait” bulls, the breed evolved into all-around farm dogs, and later moved into the house to become “nanny dogs” because they were so gentle around children.

Even though these are purebred dogs, you may find them in the care of shelters or rescue groups.

Remember to adopt! Don’t shop if you want to bring a dog home.

Muscular and handsome, Rottweiler is one of the most popular dog breeds in the U.S., and for good reason.

The Rottweiler was originally bred to drive cattle to market. Later they were used to pull carts for butchers.

They were among the earliest police dogs and serve with honors in the military.

Size and Appearance

The American pit bull terrier is a medium-sized, solidly built, short-coated dog with smooth, well-defined musculature. This breed is both powerful and athletic.

The body is just slightly longer than tall, but bitches may be somewhat longer in the body than dogs.

The head is medium length, with a broad, flat skull, and a wide, deep muzzle. Ears are small to medium in size, high set, and maybe natural or cropped.

The relatively short tail is set low, thick at the base, and tapers to a point. The American pit bull terrier comes in all colors and color patterns except merle.

This breed combines strength and athleticism with grace and agility and should never appear bulky or muscle-bound or fine-boned and rangy.

Above all else, the APBT must have the functional capability to be a catch dog that can hold, wrestle (push and pull), and breath easily while doing its job.

The weight of a male is between 35 to 60 pounds (15 to 27 kg ) and the height is between 18 and 21 inches at the withers, (45-53cm).

Rottweiler is a medium to large dog that boasts a strong, yet compact frame that is stocky, solid, and slightly longer than tall.

Males are generally larger, while females are distinctly feminine, but both sexes display boldness, power, and agility. a medium-length, white skull includes strong Jaws, a scissor bite, and a broad muzzle.

Almond-shaped, dark brown eyes are correctly proportioned, giving an alert expression. a broad chest leads to muscle legs that end in round, compact well-arched toes. the outer coat consists of medium-length hair that is flat, coarse, dense, and resistant to water.

This visible coat is black with clearly defined markings in brown shades from tan to mahogany.
Rottweilers range in height from 22-27 inches (58- 68cm). Weights go from 80 to 120 pounds (36-54 kilograms).

The History of Breeds

PITBULL was first developed in the United Kingdom where breeders routinely crossed bulldogs and terriers with the goal of creating dogs that had the terrier’s feisty attitude with the bulldog’s strength.

These dogs were used in the dubious sports of bull-baiting and rat-baiting, which is where they got their name.

Unfortunately, these competitions eventually evolved into dogfighting for sport.
The pit bull was brought to the US by immigrants and was used to drive cattle, work farms, and Hunt wild Hogs.

The breed was also pressed into service during both world wars as a messenger dog because of its never-say-die attitude and ability to get the job done.

pit bulls were also used in illegal fighting although the Animal welfare act of 1976 made it illegal in all 50 states.

Rottweilers rank as one of the most ancient breeds.

They accompanied the Romans through Germany, driving their cattle and guarding outposts.

Many were left behind and, in the town of Rothwell in southern Germany, they became the breed we know today.

Rottweilers were instrumental in the development of the Doberman Pinscher much later.

Rottweilers were working dogs from the start, driving cattle to market, pulling carts, guarding the homestead, and even carrying money to and from the market in money belts tied around their necks today they work in security and herding.

Temperament and personality

pitbulls and naturally friendly, active dogs that need a lot of exercise. well-bred and well-raised dogs are eager to please, inquisitive, and very intelligent.

Contrary to popular belief, most pits are patient and adore children which makes them wonderful family dogs, although young children should be supervised around any dog.

Due to their breeding, pits tend to be aggressive toward other dogs, but some coexist well with other pets if they have been raised around them since puppyhood.

They actually crave love, attention, and approval.

The rottweiler is a confident and fearless dog who is loyal and affectionate with its family.

Making a wonderful companion, the breed can be both clownish and laid back with a wait-and-see attitude towards many situations.

The rottweiler can be territorial, and while he makes an excellent guard dog he may also be highly suspicious of and aggressive with strangers, even if they are of the child variety.

He often attempts to herd children in the family, and he is usually better with school-aged children rather than younger ones…

so a hypothetical fight between these two dog breeds.

Who would win? Pitbull or Rottweiler?

Both breeds are considered dangerous breeds that are banned in certain cities and apartments because of their high bite records, but the number of recorded pit bull attacks on humans greatly exceeds that of the Rottie.

This is simply because Pitbulls are a breed that is much more commonly bred and kept, not because of the breed’s so-called vicious nature.

Some types of pit bulls were primarily forced to participate in dogfighting events.

They are fierce, strong, and independent dogs and can easily defeat other breeds.

they will never Back Down from competition with other dogs and will mostly win a fight.

However, there are other dog breeds that are strong and aggressive and give tough competition to a pit bull.

one such breed is the rottweiler.

They are large and heavy dogs that have the ability to compete with pit bulls.

You must be wondering what happens when a Pitbull and a Rottweiler get in a fight.

Who will be overpowering whom?

Pitbulls are not naturally aggressive. With humans, they are one of the calmest, most gentle, loving, and happy dogs.

They are really fond of people and love socializing.

However, they may show aggression to seeing other dogs. Especially when there is a strong and independent dog like a Rottweiler.

A Pitbull may try to get aggressive on seeing a Rottweiler.

A Rottweiler is no less. Rottweilers are powerful dogs and have much greater strength in comparison to pit bulls.

Comparative studies have also shown that a rottweiler can take down a pit bull will definitely not be easy but if a Rottweiler uses all his strength, he can beat a pit bull.

Rottweiler has an aggressive nature and is mainly kept as guard dogs.
Both Pitbulls and Rottweilers give tough competition to each other in terms of strength. Both breeds have large built, and bulky bodies.

When compared in size and strength, a rottweiler is more strong and more powerful than a pit bull.

A rottweiler has more sharp canines than a pitbull.

Due to their sharp canines, Rottweilers can easily bite Pit bulls.

However, a study suggests that a Rottweiler is more aggressive than a pitbull Rottweilers are mostly kept in isolation and are tied with chains.

They have separate kernels that are locked so that they do not unnecessarily harm others.

This makes them aggressive

In conclusion

A rottweiler is more intelligent, agile, stronger, and Powerful when compared to a pit bull.

Due to its more aggressive nature and the ability to tear off the flesh easily, a rottweiler can defeat a pit bull.

PetsHyena Vs Big Cats – Which Is Stronger by maxevans(op): 3:03am On Sep 11, 2021
Hyenas are feliform carnivoran mammals of the family Hyaenidae. Hyenas are related to cats. Despite their canid-like appearance, hyenas aren’t even closely related to canids like wolves or African wild dogs, because they belong to the Feliformia suborder, so they’re more related to cats and viverrids. Mongooses can be considered their closest relatives.

The four extant species are the

(1) Striped Hyena (Hyaena hyaena)
(2) The brown hyena (Parahyaena brunnea)
(3) The spotted hyena (Crocuta crocuta) And
(4) The aardwolf (Proteles cristata).

Facts About Hyenas

(1) Hyenae are among the few predators that will not hesitate to boldly outmaneuver big cats, even the most fearsome like Lions.
(2) Leopards and cheetahs have no choice but to lose their kill to Lions. but the hyena is an exception since it’s braver than most.
(3) Hyena’s move in clans and as such would never bow to the King of the beast (Lion).  when working as a team, spotted hyenas easily win in fights against lions.
(4) Their awesomeness lies also in their strength, exceptional jaws, and hunting skills. Let’s not forget: hyenas have evolved to possess bone-crushing jaws
(5) They also have one of the strongest bite forces among carnivorous…
(6) They possess qualities that allow them to break the toughest of bones or hides with ease (not a common gift given to carnivores).
(7) Hyenas eat their victims alive, tearing both flesh and bones to pieces with their scary strong jaws…
(cool Spotted hyenas are very efficient when eating their prey, as they are the only carnivores on the African plains that can consume and digest bones…
(9) Hyenas are one of the most successful hunters: They prefer to disembowel their victim while it’s still alive and watch it become too paralyzed to protect itself, Indeed, this is far more terrifying…Hyenas truly have a lust for blood!
(10) When hunting, spotted hyenas will use a mix of speed and stamina to bring down their prey, they can take down preys that are 5 times their own size. Working as a group, they will bite the rear of their target, gradually wearing it down until it’s ripe for eating.
(11) Hyenas are one of the smartest animals on earth: Some hyenas have even learned that going for the testes on male animals makes them easier to take down.
(12) Hyenas are led by an alpha female: In hyena societies, the ladies rule, female hyenas are bigger and stronger than males towering over them in terms of size, power, and rank.
(13) Females are bigger than males: Female spotted hyenas are larger, meaner, and way more dominant than males. It is actually impossible for an adult male hyena to rank higher than a female in the clan!
(14) Female hyenas give birth through a pseudo-penis: One strange thing to note about female spotted hyenas is their pseudo-penis. This is actually an elongated clitoris and is used for urination and birth.
(15) Male hyenas are considered the lowest form of life in the pack: Male hyenas are the lowest ranking clan members and are forced to leave once they reach sexual maturity.
(16) To gain membership into a new clan takes a lot of work, and young males are often beaten up by dominant females before gaining access.
(17) Once a male gains membership in a clan, he is automatically the lowest ranking hyena. When other males above him die, he will move up the social ladder, but sadly he will never be able to rise above females and cubs in rank.

Hyena vs Lion Real Fight

(1) Spotted hyena laughter often signals that the clan has found food. These calls often attract hungry lions looking to scavenge.
(2) Hyenas usually gang up on the weak lioness they hardly pick a fight with a male lion.
(3) A loud roar does the trick especially if the Lion is not in the mood of ‘chase and bite game’ with the hyenas.
(4) However, when the lion is pissed off enough they simply attack one with a deadly bite on the neck. The rest will get the message and move on with their laughs.

I’ve seen a single lion take on 21 hyenas and none of them stood on the way after he killed just one.

The sheer weight/size and strength of a male lion is no match for the hyena. An adult male lion weighs 190 kg while the weight of an adult female hyena is 44 – 64 kg.

Hyena vs Tiger Real Fight

Tigers on the other hand are much bigger and smarter than lions. They are quite skillful killers and their roar can literally freeze (paralyze isn’t the best word to use) the unsuspecting victim. They are also vengeful, but that’s not the scary part.

The scary part is that they study their enemy thoroughly by identifying its weaknesses and anything that the tiger can use against them, Now that’s the role of the tiger’s intelligence.

The hyenas might scare the tiger when they come in numbers but boy! The tiger won’t just move on.

He will probably study these ugly laughing bullies and follow them to their den and from there every night one or two hyenas die! Until the Queen decides it’s better to find another territory. There’s nothing as scary as a fearless soldier but nothing scarier than a smart, skillful, fearless, and vengeful soldier now that’s a tiger for you

The male adult Bengal tiger is 220 kg, the adult female hyena is 44 – 64 kg.

In the coexistence of both species(Lion and Tiger), Hyenas are the ones who would suffer most.

Hyena vs Jaguar Real Fight

Hyenas have exceptionally powerful jaws, whose bite force is measured at 1,100 pounds per square inch (psi).
An adult female hyena weighs 44 – 64 kg.
An adult male Jaguar weighs 57-113 kg.
Hyenas can take down big games in groups/clans
Jaguar can single-handedly take down big games like Caimans /crocodiles
Hyena aim for the testes of its victims
Jaguar kills by biting its victim’s skull
Jaguars have the strongest jaw muscles of all of the big cats. Their bite force is around 1,500 pounds per square inch, which is about double that of a tiger.
Unlike all other cats, which mostly go for the throat to dispatch their prey, the jaguar kills by biting its victim’s skull….

PetsHave You Heard Of Zebra Spider? The Most Beautiful Spider In The World by maxevans(op): 9:56pm On Jul 22, 2021
Animals are given names based on their color, appearance, markings, and other characteristics. The Zebra Spider gets its name from the fact that it is black with white hair and white color stripes, just like a zebra. They are sometimes known as Jumping Spider of the Northern Hemisphere.

Because of its agility, the name Salticus was taken from a Latin term that meant “dancing,” and Scenus is a Greek word that means “theatrical” or “decorative area.”

According to Wikipedia, male spiders have a larger chelicera than female spiders; males are about 5-6mm long, while females are about 5-9mm long.

It is crucial to note, however, that they are members of the Salticidae family, which means they have an enlarged anterior median eye, as well as large anterior and posterior-lateral eyes in comparison to the small posterior median eyes. These numbers indicate that the zebra spider has eight eyes.

One eye, in particular, the exceptionally big anterior median eyes, is used for superb binocular vision.

HABITAT

In locations like North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, and the Arctic, they are frequently spotted in close proximity to humans just like Cockroaches and wall geckos. During the day, zebra spiders can be seen on window sills just behind the curtains and on walls, plants, and fences outside.

They feed on

Small spiders
arthropods
small and large mosquitoes
and small moths are among their favorite foods.

The zebra spider catches its prey in a variety of ways.

The zebra spider uses its enormous front eyes to find and pursue its prey, crawling slowly approaching them before pouncing on them.

This hunting strategy has been compared to that of a cat. Their keen vision allows them to calculate the exact distance needed to leap and seize the prey.

They leap to their prey with the help of a sticky silk thread, and if they miss, they climb up the silk thread and try their luck again; ants are unpalatable to them.

Reproduction

When the male and female are close enough to touch, the male will wave his front legs and moves his abdomen up and down, in a dance that the female will finds appealing—only then will she agree to mate.

Afterward, the female will stay with the egg sacs after mating and guard them until they hatch. After their second molting, the fingerlings are most likely to abandon their moms and fend for themselves.

Do They Pose a Threat?

These spiders aren’t aggressive biters and won’t bite unless they’re handled or threatened in some way.

They do generate venom, which is used to immobilize their food, but because the spiders are so little, the venom is only likely to cause minor injury to humans.

Are they venomous?

Humans are not harmed by zebra spiders. They are frequently misunderstood as hostile due to their leaping activity (they jump more than they walk).

This is a natural behavior for them, and they will not bite unless they are frightened or provoked. Most people will only experience moderate irritation if they are bitten.

PetsRe: 10 Animals That Will Kill A Full Grown Tiger by maxevans: 4:18pm On Sep 05, 2020
Debbie34:
It may surprise you that there are actually quite a few animals that can kill a full grown tiger. Bear in mind many of these animals kill tiger in self defense but some do prey on tigers in specific circumstances. I will try to include a source for most animals, and hope this answer helps you out. Some of these animals may come as a surprise...i'll put a description link below for you to see my sources...Enjoy

Here are 10 Animals that will Kill a full grown tiger

(1).Indian crested porcupine

(There is graphic content of a tiger heart impaled by a porcupine quill. You have been warned.)
It’s obvious porcupines have a powerful defensive weapon in form of their quills. These spiky protrusions can cause terrible wounds and sadly for most animals they don’t know how to remove them. I will always remember the time I almost ran over a porcupine when mountain biking. That would have been a painful wipe out! As for porcupines killing Bengal tigers here are a few incidents....visit description link below to see sources.
As you can see if the porcupine get’s good hit with its quills the tiger can end up dead. Sometimes these incidents make you wonder why the tiger even hunts these spiky devils!

(2).Water buffalo

“My mother makes me feel like a Nigerian. Whenever I leave she says “bison”!”
It’s no secret that water buffaloes are aggressive beasts that won’t hesitate to charge anything they perceive as threats. Bengal tigers like to ambush these guys as they can be a handful when facing them in a head on conflict. When the ambush goes wrong let’s just say things don’t often go in favor of the tiger.
Chart shows that one tiger killed by a buffalo in a study to determine how humans influence tigers. It may not seem significant but it was the only prey animal to have killed a tiger during this study. I think that speaks volumes about buffaloes being a truly deadly prey animal.

(3).Ussuri brown bears

It’s easy to see why brown bears would be able to kill tigers due to their size strength and power. In Russia Ussuri brown bears and Siberian tigers come into conflict and tigers even hunt the bears which make up 1.4% of their diet. Large bears also may engage tigers and try to steal their food.
During telemetry research in the Sikhote-Alin protected area, 44 direct confrontations between the two predators were observed, in which bears were killed in 22 cases, and tigers in 12 cases. This shows that if a bear feel threatened it won’t hesitate to defend itself.

(4).Gaur
Gaur are like water buffalo but I find them to be even more frightening. They have massive muscles and are know to be quite aggressive towards aggressors. Naturally when these guys come into conflict with tigers the tiger doesn’t always come out on top.

(5).Saltwater crocodile
Crocodile says “I dare you to come closer.”
Tigers love to swim and you know what else likes to swim? You guessed it, crocodiles! Crocodiles are the dominant predators in the water and once it get’s a hold of a tiger the cat is pretty much doomed. Visit link below to see sources and watch video of actual incident
The tiger may be king of the Indian jungle but the crocodile is the king of India’s waters.

(6).Indian rhinoceros
Rhino says “If you try that again Mr tiger then you will feel what its like to have this horn up your ass!!!”
Indian rhinos are huge and won’t hesitate to damage an attacking tiger. Tigers have quickly learned that hunting these animals is way too dangerous and only prey on them as a last resort and even then they will only go for young, injured and sick animals.
This conflict shows that the tiger should not be underestimated when it has to fight for its life. In the fight that ensued both the rhino and tiger were killed!A Royal Bengal Tiger and a Rhinoceros Found Dead in Kaziranga...I could only find one source of the incidence, link below will take you to it.
Sorry I couldn’t find more sources of rhinos killing tigers but like I said they don’t fight much. Even with the lack of evidence its is easy to see that Indian rhinos could kill tigers.

(7).Asian elephant
I think this animal needs zero explanation. Being so much bigger than the tiger , having a powerful trunk and if you’re a male having tusks comes with some perks. Elephants have nearly no predators as adults but the rare time a tiger picks a fight with one boy is it for a scare.
There are close to no cases of elephants killing tigers for one reason. The tiger is too scared to attack it. Still, I was able to find one case of a tiger trampled to death by a wild elephant.(source in the description link below)

(cool.Wild Boar
Wild boars are actually pretty dangerous and will kill attackers by brutally mauling them to death. Tigers are no exception and are killed on some occasions by these animals.
Here is a case of a boar killing a tiger by goring it to death. (Description link below)

(9). Moose
Moose says “You better not be thinking of attacking me!!!”

Moose and Siberian tigers live together and have a predator prey relationship. While quite unlikely I believe it would be possible for the moose to take out a tiger. After all they have been know to kill bears on occasion. Still this guy’s killing ability is a bit speculative as not enough research has been done on interactions between the two animals.

(10). Others
Some honorable mentions include venomous snakes like cobras and of course smaller predators like leopards, wolves and dholes which will prey on younger tigers if given the chance. Finally tigers are often killed by other tigers and Lions
There are quite a few instances where cubs are eaten by adult tigers but two adult tigers fighting and one eating the other is rare. "Though history has instances of cannibalism in tigers, it is rare,"

Lions
lions often killed tigers in captivity by ganging up on them, whereas tigers tend not to form fighting gangs. Lions roam in prides of up to 30 and kill tiger/tigers( Source in description link below)

What do you think so far? please feel free to express your opinions, i hope you enjoyed reading as well...

PetsAudience Watch As Lion Defeated A Tiger In Arena ; Lions Win 9 Out Of 10 Fights by maxevans(op): 6:55pm On Sep 03, 2020
Lions are called king of the Jungle and here’s why?

It may surprise you that there are actually quite a few animals that can kill a full grown tiger. Lion is one of the few, in a one on one combat between a lion and a tiger it is reported that lions win 9 out of 10 fights…shocking right?.

I know you’re shocked and probably wondering how i came up with that information right?

Wikipedia gave an account of what happened while Audience watch As Lion Defeated A Tiger in the Arena...I'll put a description link below for you to Visit Read and watch video
Trainer Bert Nelson, A man who witnessed an incident struggle that happened between lions and tigers, said that a tiger would surrender ‘sooner’ than a lion.
Roman’s, placed them in a pit to fight against each other and the Lion won 9/10 times that’s why they called lions, king of the jungle. A well healthy Lion and a well healthy tiger of almost the same age and Size (pound for pound)…
I need to state however, that there are conflicting opinions in wikipedia, some opinions favoured Tiger, while some favoured Lion…
However, after much research and in depth study on the matter, i finally cracked it.

Lion’s weight
In general, fully grown male lions weigh in at around 420 pounds

Best Estimate
Estimates vary, but Saffoe says an average adult male African lion and an average adult male Bengal tiger (the most common wild tiger subspecies) both weigh in the neighborhood of 400 to 420 pounds (180 to 190 kilograms)

This animal can reach upwards of 600 pounds for males and 360 pounds for females. Ones in captivity are usually larger. The average size of wild cats tends to hover at around 300 pounds for females and 470 pounds for a male Siberian tiger.

If you put a healthy male Lion and a healthy male Tiger of the same age and size of around let’s say 400-420pounds…
Record shows that Lion will win 9/10 times in a one on one battle, now here’s what was observed…

In most cases Tigers are bigger than a lion and size matters a lot in a one on one combat. Though, tigers are bigger and stronger, lions are faster, they have a mane that protects them and better stamina.
Now tigers are physically superior but lions usually make a tiger submit which is most of the time they fight. In orther words, Tiger lacks stamina and a will power to fight longer…
Also be aware that male lions sometimes fight each other to the death, A lion is skilled in battle. Oftentimes, a male lion fight each-other for power and dominance, the weaker lion submits and flee, in some cases the weaker lion is killed during the fight..

Fighting among lions is not uncommon. Male lions often fight each other for territory and females, often to the death. If the invading males are successful in killing or subduing the alpha males of the pride, the first thing they do is kill off all the cubs in the pride.
Now you see why Male lions are built for fighting right?

Tigers are solitary( they live alone, and hunt alone) so a tiger isn’t skilled in battle and therefore lack stamina against an alpha male lion.
Tigers have to plan their attacks carefully or risk getting murdered by their extremely powerful prey. They also fall risk to being attacked by other predators such as bears, Gaur and crocodiles. Overall, like most animals tigers have hard lives despite being apex predators.
Lions are smart they know not to swim because of hippos crocs and elephants Male lions are in coalitions for 4 years which are all Male groups who fight and hunt together.

CelebritiesBoxer Mike Tyson Offered A Zookeeper $10,000 To Fight A Gorilla, See What Happen by maxevans(op): 4:32pm On Aug 29, 2020
This is what would happen if Mike Tyson fights a gorilla to the Death

When Mike Tyson and his ex wife Robin Givens visited a zoo Mike did actually offer the zookeeper $10,000 to fight the dominant alpha gorilla. Thankfully that offer was declined.
I have no doubt it’s true, he did actually wrestle with his huge ass tigers so he’d probably be brave enough to get it on with a gorilla as well. I’m afraid he’d be limbless in less than a minute with the gorilla tho.
This is what would happen if Mike Tyson fights a gorilla to the Death? If the gorilla noticed him he might get pissed off and rip Mike’s head off. Gorillas weigh in at 500lbs. It would be as much a match as a baby hitting Dwayne Johnson. If Mike Tyson hit a 125 lb chimp the chimp would get pissed off and probably break his arms. These animals are much much more powerful pound for pound than humans. They’re tougher too and can take a punch.
As far as wrestling a tiger I’m sure the tiger was trained to wrestle humans otherwise Mike would be a snack
It would go a bit like this, Mike hits gorilla who looks at him like WTF for a split second before ripping him to bits in under 20 seconds. A male gorilla is 4 to 9 times stronger than the average male human,
Mike Tyson in his prime wasn’t an average male but the alpha gorilla would still be 3 or 4 times stronger.
With the ability to lift up to about 800lbs a fully grown male gorilla would toss Mike Tyson around like a rag doll.
gorillas have a much great ape index so while they may be shorter than humans their arms are longer. they have tough thick skin and being closer to the ground a lower center of gravity, and balance, despite their size they are deceptively agile and don’t forget they have a big mouth with strong jaws and sharp teeth.
So if Mike Tyson or anyone took a swipe at a gorilla it would probably be the last thing they did.
you tell me, could he have taken on a beast that can lift 1,800 pounds and weighs 350 pounds
When you get done reading that watch this video via link below, and this is in a zoo setting not in the wild where it would be a lot more intense, tell me if Tyson could have fended off this attack, when watch this just imagine if one of the gorillas was Tyson, and Tyson could never move like either of those gorillas.
Plus those gorillas have an extremely strong but short neck combined with the most robust jaw muscles in the world surpassing a Grizzly, along with a very large and thick chin bone making an uppercut useless; plus their arm reach is about 50% longer than a human.
Do you really think an uppercut to a chin like that by Tyson would phase the gorilla? Impossible
Gorillas are stupidly strong they can bench an estimated 1800–4500 lbs depending on age, nutrition, gender, etc. Think about that, the world record bench press is 770 lbs by Julius Maddox, that’s 2,5–5,8 times of us puny humans’ best attempt
Do you really think Tyson whose weighing around 250 lbs at his zenith can fight a 400 lbs pissed off silverback? I don’t think so, and the zoo keeper know this as well.

CelebritiesKomodo Dragon vs Asian Water Monitor by maxevans(op):
Komodo Dragon vs Asian Water Monitor

Who would win a fight?
They are both very similar animals. Komodo dragons and monitor lizards are arguably some of the most famous reptiles.

While Komodo dragons draw a lot of attention for their large size and venomous bites, the Asian water monitor is a large varanid lizard native to South and Southeast Asia.

The world's biggest living lizards are Komodo dragons. They are identified by their massive size, flat heads, bowed legs, and long, thick tails.

The name is derived from legends about a dragon-like creature that lived on the Indonesian island of Komodo.

The Water Monitor is a type of giant monitor lizard that can be found in parts of South and Southeast Asia.

These semi-aquatic reptiles are widespread throughout their range and prefer humid or near-water environments.

This species is particularly dangerous and is said to be dangerous to humans in certain situations.

What do they look like?
Komodo dragons are large lizards with long tails, powerful and agile necks, and sturdy limbs. Their tongues are forked and yellow.

Adults have a nearly uniform stone color with distinct, large scales, whereas juveniles may have a more vibrant color and pattern.

The Komodo's jaw and throat muscles allow it to swallow huge chunks of meat at rapid speed.

Although males grow larger and bulkier than females, there are no obvious morphological differences between the sexes.

The average weight of these wild dragons is 154 lbs (70 kg), but the largest verified specimen measured 10.3 feet (3.13 m) and weighed 366 lbs (166 kg).

The body of an Asian water monitor is covered in dark brown or black scales. Yellow spots on their underside are possible. As the lizard ages, these spots fade.

As monitor lizards, they have a large forked tongue that they use to detect prey. Monitor lizards are the only lizards with a forked tongue.

This characteristic is shared by snakes. To gather scents, this is flicked out of the mouth. This tongue is blue in color.

Their nostrils are near the tip of the snout, which is unusual in monitors. They have a long tail that can represent more than half of their body length.

Some specimens of the Asian water monitor have been recorded at lengths exceeding 9.8 feet (3 m) through 4.9 feet (1.5 m) is considered average.

An average monitor may weigh up to 55lbs (25kg) though again larger specimens are possible.

Where do they live?
Komodo dragons are extremely rare and can only be found in the wild on five islands:

the Lesser Sunda Islands of Komodo, Rinca, Gili Montang, and Gili Dasami (all within Komodo National Park) and Flores, where the Komodo roams freely.

The habitat of the lizard can range from tropical dry forest to savanna to deciduous monsoon forest. The Komodo prefers extreme heat no matter where it lives.

On the Indonesian islands, the temperature is usually around 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius) with 70% humidity.

The wide variety of water monitors illustrates their remarkable adaptability.

They can be found as far north as Northeast India and as far south as Southeast Asia's insular regions.

They have proven to thrive in a variety of landscapes throughout this range, including urban settings such as the Thai metropolis of Bangkok!

Although Varanus Salvator is a lowland species, it has been found at elevations of nearly 6000 feet above sea level.

Throughout much of its range, this species is heavily harvested for its leather, body parts, and meat.

Many of this semi-aquatic lizard's unique adaptations, including intelligence and size, have contributed to its successful expansion.

What do they eat?
Komodo dragons are such skilled hunters that they can consume large prey such as water buffalo, deer, carrion, pigs, and even humans.

They will eat smaller dragons as well. They can consume up to 80% of their body weight in a single feeding. The Komodo kills its prey in an unusual manner.

It begins by springing up and knocking the prey over with its massive feet. Then they shred their prey to death with their sharp, serrated teeth, which resemble shark teeth.

Because the Komodo's saliva contains 50 strains of bacteria, if the prey escapes, it will die within 24 hours of blood poisoning.

The Komodo will find the dead animal and finish its meal thanks to its incredible sense of smell.

The Asian water monitor, like other monitor lizards, is a carnivore that eats a variety of prey. They will consume almost any animal that they can overpower, kill, and consume.

Small mammals, particularly rats, birds and their eggs, crabs, fish, other lizards, frogs, snakes, turtles, tortoises,

and smaller juvenile or young crocodiles and their eggs are among the most common prey.

While hunting for aquatic prey, the Asian water monitor can stay submerged for up to 30 minutes at a time.

They, like the Komodo dragon, feed on carrion and have been known to dig up and eat human corpses.

Thanks to their powerful legs they are extremely fast and like other monitors they usually pursue their prey while hunting instead of stalking and ambushing them.

How do they behave in the wild?
Komodo Dragons are mostly active during the day, but they have been observed to exhibit some nocturnal behavior.

They are solitary creatures that only congregate to breed and eat.

They are quite fast creatures, capable of sprinting up to 20 kilometers per hour in short bursts (12.4 miles per hour).

Komodo Dragons, due to their large size, can conserve body heat by sleeping in their burrows, reducing their need to bask in the mornings.

Although not strictly venomous, a Komodo Dragon bite is dangerous not only for the physical damage the Komodo is capable of causing, but it is also heavily dosed with dangerous bacteria.

Asian water monitors are semiaquatic; they are excellent swimmers who steer through the water with raised fin on their tails.

They are nocturnal animals. Monitors hide in trees, under bushes, large roots, or cavities between rocks at night or when resting.

They also dig burrows, which are frequently located near a river or stream and are partially flooded.

Asian water monitors use their tails, claws, and jaws to defend themselves.

When threatened by predators such as the King cobra, they will use their powerful legs and claws to climb trees.

If this evasion is insufficient to keep them safe, they may jump from trees into streams for safety.

Now, it’s time for the battle! So, let’s see, who would win, a komodo dragon or an Asian water monitor?
Between Komodo dragons and Asian water monitors, there are a number of significant differences.

The first distinction between a monitor lizard and a Komodo dragon is how they look.

Since Komodo dragons are the largest monitor lizard species that can exist, they are inherently bigger than all other monitor lizard species.

In addition to being larger than Asian water monitors, Komodo dragons also have a more aggressive appearance.

The water monitor's tail and neck are averages in size compared to the Komodo dragon's, which are both extremely strong and thick.

While keeping some species of monitor lizards as pets are fairly common among reptile enthusiasts, this is not the case with Komodo dragons.

Komodo dragons are lizards that should remain outside of human habitation.

The Komodo dragon has toxic venom glands that can cause shock, heavy bleeding, low blood pressure, and prevent clotting.

Komodo dragons will bite down with their serrated teeth and pull back with powerful neck to make massive gaping wounds that can send the prey into shock.

If the prey escapes the jaws of a Komodo, the luck won’t last for long.

A Komodo dragon can use their sense of smell to calmly follow an escapee for miles while the venom takes effect.

The Komodo dragon wins for sure. Just think that Komodo dragons kill each other and eat each other, do you think it would be difficult to kill a similar animal but smaller?

Of course not!

Looking at this match up it's clear that it is completely unfair.

The Komodo dragon is multiple times larger and more dangerous than a monitor. Realistically Komodo should devour The Monitor.
