Lions are called king of the Jungle and here’s why? It may surprise you that there are actually quite a few animals that can kill a full grown tiger. Lion is one of the few, in a one on one combat between a lion and a tiger it is reported that lions win 9 out of 10 fights…shocking right?. I know you’re shocked and probably wondering how i came up with that information right? If you put a healthy male Lion and a healthy male Tiger of the same age and size of around let’s say 400-420pounds… Record shows that Lion will win 9/10 times in a one on one battle, now here’s what was observed… In most cases Tigers are bigger than a lion and size matters a lot in a one on one combat. Though, tigers are bigger and stronger, lions are faster, they have a mane that protects them and better stamina. Now tigers are physically superior but[b] lions usually make a tiger submit which is most of the time[/b] they fight. In orther words, Tiger lacks stamina and a will power to fight longer… Also be aware that male lions sometimes fight each other to the death, A lion is skilled in battle. Oftentimes, a male lion fight each-other for power and dominance, the weaker lion submits and flee, in some cases the weaker lion is killed during the fight.. Fighting among lions is not uncommon. Male lions often fight each other for territory and females, often to the death. If the invading males are successful in killing or subduing the alpha males of the pride, the first thing they do is kill off all the cubs in the pride. Now you see why Male lions are built for fighting right? Tigers are solitary( they live alone, and hunt alone) so a tiger isn’t skilled in battle and therefore lack stamina against an alpha male lion. Tigers have to plan their attacks carefully or risk getting murdered by their extremely powerful prey. They also fall risk to being attacked by other predators such as bears, Gaur and crocodiles. Overall, like most animals tigers have hard lives despite being apex predators. This is what would happen if Mike Tyson fights a gorilla to the Death When Mike Tyson and his ex wife Robin Givens visited a zoo Mike did actually offer the zookeeper $10,000 to fight the dominant alpha gorilla. Thankfully that offer was declined. I have no doubt it’s true, he did actually wrestle with his huge ass tigers so he’d probably be brave enough to get it on with a gorilla as well. I’m afraid he’d be limbless in less than a minute with the gorilla tho. This is what would happen if Mike Tyson fights a gorilla to the Death? If the gorilla noticed him he might get pissed off and rip Mike’s head off. Gorillas weigh in at 500lbs. It would be as much a match as a baby hitting Dwayne Johnson. If Mike Tyson hit a 125 lb chimp the chimp would get pissed off and probably break his arms. These animals are much much more powerful pound for pound than humans. They’re tougher too and can take a punch. As far as wrestling a tiger I’m sure the tiger was trained to wrestle humans otherwise Mike would be a snack It would go a bit like this, Mike hits gorilla who looks at him like WTF for a split second before ripping him to bits in under 20 seconds. A male gorilla is 4 to 9 times stronger than the average male human, Mike Tyson in his prime wasn’t an average male but the alpha gorilla would still be 3 or 4 times stronger. With the ability to lift up to about 800lbs a fully grown male gorilla would toss Mike Tyson around like a rag doll. gorillas have a much great ape index so while they may be shorter than humans their arms are longer. they have tough thick skin and being closer to the ground a lower center of gravity, and balance, despite their size they are deceptively agile and don’t forget they have a big mouth with strong jaws and sharp teeth. So if Mike Tyson or anyone took a swipe at a gorilla it would probably be the last thing they did. you tell me, could he have taken on a beast that can lift 1,800 pounds and weighs 350 pounds When you get done reading that watch this video via link below, and this is in a zoo setting not in the wild where it would be a lot more intense, tell me if Tyson could have fended off this attack, when watch this just imagine if one of the gorillas was Tyson, and Tyson could never move like either of those gorillas. Plus those gorillas have an extremely strong but short neck combined with the most robust jaw muscles in the world surpassing a Grizzly, along with a very large and thick chin bone making an uppercut useless; plus their arm reach is about 50% longer than a human. Do you really think an uppercut to a chin like that by Tyson would phase the gorilla? Impossible Gorillas are stupidly strong they can bench an estimated 1800–4500 lbs depending on age, nutrition, gender, etc. Think about that, the world record bench press is 770 lbs by Julius Maddox, that’s 2,5–5,8 times of us puny humans’ best attempt Do you really think Tyson whose weighing around 250 lbs at his zenith can fight a 400 lbs pissed off silverback? Komodo Dragon vs Asian Water Monitor Who would win a fight? They are both very similar animals. Komodo dragons and monitor lizards are arguably some of the most famous reptiles. While Komodo dragons draw a lot of attention for their large size and venomous bites, the Asian water monitor is a large varanid lizard native to South and Southeast Asia. The world's biggest living lizards are Komodo dragons. They are identified by their massive size, flat heads, bowed legs, and long, thick tails. The name is derived from legends about a dragon-like creature that lived on the Indonesian island of Komodo. The Water Monitor is a type of giant monitor lizard that can be found in parts of South and Southeast Asia. These semi-aquatic reptiles are widespread throughout their range and prefer humid or near-water environments. This species is particularly dangerous and is said to be dangerous to humans in certain situations. What do they look like? Komodo dragons are large lizards with long tails, powerful and agile necks, and sturdy limbs. Their tongues are forked and yellow. Adults have a nearly uniform stone color with distinct, large scales, whereas juveniles may have a more vibrant color and pattern. The Komodo's jaw and throat muscles allow it to swallow huge chunks of meat at rapid speed. Although males grow larger and bulkier than females, there are no obvious morphological differences between the sexes. The average weight of these wild dragons is 154 lbs (70 kg), but the largest verified specimen measured 10.3 feet (3.13 m) and weighed 366 lbs (166 kg). The body of an Asian water monitor is covered in dark brown or black scales. Yellow spots on their underside are possible. As the lizard ages, these spots fade. As monitor lizards, they have a large forked tongue that they use to detect prey. Monitor lizards are the only lizards with a forked tongue. This characteristic is shared by snakes. To gather scents, this is flicked out of the mouth. This tongue is blue in color. Their nostrils are near the tip of the snout, which is unusual in monitors. They have a long tail that can represent more than half of their body length. Some specimens of the Asian water monitor have been recorded at lengths exceeding 9.8 feet (3 m) through 4.9 feet (1.5 m) is considered average. An average monitor may weigh up to 55lbs (25kg) though again larger specimens are possible. Where do they live? Komodo dragons are extremely rare and can only be found in the wild on five islands: the Lesser Sunda Islands of Komodo, Rinca, Gili Montang, and Gili Dasami (all within Komodo National Park) and Flores, where the Komodo roams freely. The habitat of the lizard can range from tropical dry forest to savanna to deciduous monsoon forest. The Komodo prefers extreme heat no matter where it lives. On the Indonesian islands, the temperature is usually around 95 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius) with 70% humidity. The wide variety of water monitors illustrates their remarkable adaptability. They can be found as far north as Northeast India and as far south as Southeast Asia's insular regions. They have proven to thrive in a variety of landscapes throughout this range, including urban settings such as the Thai metropolis of Bangkok! Although Varanus Salvator is a lowland species, it has been found at elevations of nearly 6000 feet above sea level. Throughout much of its range, this species is heavily harvested for its leather, body parts, and meat. Many of this semi-aquatic lizard's unique adaptations, including intelligence and size, have contributed to its successful expansion. What do they eat? Komodo dragons are such skilled hunters that they can consume large prey such as water buffalo, deer, carrion, pigs, and even humans. They will eat smaller dragons as well. They can consume up to 80% of their body weight in a single feeding. The Komodo kills its prey in an unusual manner. It begins by springing up and knocking the prey over with its massive feet. Then they shred their prey to death with their sharp, serrated teeth, which resemble shark teeth. Because the Komodo's saliva contains 50 strains of bacteria, if the prey escapes, it will die within 24 hours of blood poisoning. The Komodo will find the dead animal and finish its meal thanks to its incredible sense of smell. The Asian water monitor, like other monitor lizards, is a carnivore that eats a variety of prey. They will consume almost any animal that they can overpower, kill, and consume. Small mammals, particularly rats, birds and their eggs, crabs, fish, other lizards, frogs, snakes, turtles, tortoises, and smaller juvenile or young crocodiles and their eggs are among the most common prey. While hunting for aquatic prey, the Asian water monitor can stay submerged for up to 30 minutes at a time. They, like the Komodo dragon, feed on carrion and have been known to dig up and eat human corpses. Thanks to their powerful legs they are extremely fast and like other monitors they usually pursue their prey while hunting instead of stalking and ambushing them. How do they behave in the wild? Komodo Dragons are mostly active during the day, but they have been observed to exhibit some nocturnal behavior. They are solitary creatures that only congregate to breed and eat. They are quite fast creatures, capable of sprinting up to 20 kilometers per hour in short bursts (12.4 miles per hour). Komodo Dragons, due to their large size, can conserve body heat by sleeping in their burrows, reducing their need to bask in the mornings. Although not strictly venomous, a Komodo Dragon bite is dangerous not only for the physical damage the Komodo is capable of causing, but it is also heavily dosed with dangerous bacteria. Asian water monitors are semiaquatic; they are excellent swimmers who steer through the water with raised fin on their tails. They are nocturnal animals. Monitors hide in trees, under bushes, large roots, or cavities between rocks at night or when resting. They also dig burrows, which are frequently located near a river or stream and are partially flooded. Asian water monitors use their tails, claws, and jaws to defend themselves. When threatened by predators such as the King cobra, they will use their powerful legs and claws to climb trees. If this evasion is insufficient to keep them safe, they may jump from trees into streams for safety. Now, it’s time for the battle! So, let’s see, who would win, a komodo dragon or an Asian water monitor? Between Komodo dragons and Asian water monitors, there are a number of significant differences. The first distinction between a monitor lizard and a Komodo dragon is how they look. Since Komodo dragons are the largest monitor lizard species that can exist, they are inherently bigger than all other monitor lizard species. In addition to being larger than Asian water monitors, Komodo dragons also have a more aggressive appearance. The water monitor's tail and neck are averages in size compared to the Komodo dragon's, which are both extremely strong and thick. While keeping some species of monitor lizards as pets are fairly common among reptile enthusiasts, this is not the case with Komodo dragons. Komodo dragons are lizards that should remain outside of human habitation. The Komodo dragon has toxic venom glands that can cause shock, heavy bleeding, low blood pressure, and prevent clotting. Komodo dragons will bite down with their serrated teeth and pull back with powerful neck to make massive gaping wounds that can send the prey into shock. If the prey escapes the jaws of a Komodo, the luck won’t last for long. A Komodo dragon can use their sense of smell to calmly follow an escapee for miles while the venom takes effect. The Komodo dragon wins for sure. Just think that Komodo dragons kill each other and eat each other, do you think it would be difficult to kill a similar animal but smaller? Of course not! Looking at this match up it's clear that it is completely unfair. The Komodo dragon is multiple times larger and more dangerous than a monitor. Can a jaguar kill a lion? Let's look at the Bite Force Okay, well i see a lot of people have choose the lion as a favorite but, you also need to think about a jaguars abilities and not just jump to what animal is bigger or how much it weighs. A jaguars bite is stronger then a lions and a tigers. “Jaguars have the strongest bite of any cat on the planet. Jaguars have the strongest jaw muscles of all the big cats. having a Bite Force of 1,500 PSI. Hyenas, lions, and tigers generate around 1,000 psi. Jaguars wins this round in terms of bite force. Speed The average top speed of the Jaguar is 80 kilometres per hour / 50 miles per hour, while the average top speed of the Lion is 81 kilometres per hour / 50 miles per hour. .. A lion runs faster than a jaguar in this category. Lions can jump higher then jaguars though. They can jump up to 36 feet while a jaguar can only jump up to 20 feet. Size Jaguars are smaller compare to a lion and so the lion is clearly at an advantage here due to its massive size. A Fully grown male lions weigh around 420 pounds. While a fully grown male jaguars weigh 250pounds. Skills in battle I have seen footages(videos) of single lions bringing down adult buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, weighing over half a ton. Lions live in a more hostile environment than jaquars and hunt far larger preys capable of fighting back and harming them (for example Cape buffaloes). Therefore, they have evolved to become the most ruthless killing machines in the Savanah. Jaquars on the other hand are used to hunting Caimans with an average weight of just 40 kg. A single jaquar cannot bring down an adult buffalo… A jaquar may stand a chance against a female lion due to its strong bite force but against an adult male lion, it will be dead In a few minutes if it doesn’t runaway midfight...comment below if you disagree Both Lions and jaguars are skilled in battle, both animals can take down prey twice/thrice their size, a Jaguar can carry prey twice it’s size in it’s jaws and climb a tree with it…Now that’s pretty strong… Habitat Jaguars live in a range of habitats from thick tropical forests, to swamps while Lions live in woodlands, and grassland habitat..and that is why a lion and jaguar fight almost never occur in the wild… Both Lions and jaguars are apex predators in their own habitat…but, hypothetical, if a Lion and a jaguars come together, who would most likely win a fight? The show began airing its fifth season last week and expectedly, it has caused a lot of division among public opinion. Sir, we understand that the reason given for this order borders on COVID-19 compliance. Believe me sir when I say that no measure should be considered though enough when it comes to COVID-19 compliance. It’s a deadly pandemic that has claimed over 500,000 innocent lives worldwide. From what is gathered, the organisers of the show, MultiChioce Ltd in their response said that all measures were taken to comply with COVID-19 guidelines before the show started. As you already know Opera news hub is a platform where you can write articles and publish it and in return opera news hub pays you for your articles. I have been publishing article for 3month now and I discovered that opera news hub is too strict and can be so annoying... My article was rejected several times after publication due to unnecessary reasons..I mean, why publish an article and then reject it? what for?...opera news hub is beginning to have bad reputations. it is so unfair, after wasting time, effort and resources to write articles they'll now reject it... Thursday, 18 June 2020 – This lady caused a stir in the streets after she went nuts during the Black Lives Matter demos that started after George Floyd was killed by a racist white cop. The naughty lady, who was dressed like a night stripper and rocking a T-shirt, written ‘Black Lives Matter’, started twerking and exposing her naked booty to the cops while protesting police brutality against blacks. (1) INCEPTION The plot revolves around Dom Cobb and his team of operatives who enter into people’s subconscious and steal their ideas. For their latest mission, they are assigned with the task of planting an idea inside someone’s head instead of stealing it. The idea must be planted deep enough in the victim’s brain so that he starts to believe that he thought of it himself. The only problem is, if they go too deep in his thoughts, there is a risk that they will be stuck in limbo inside the dream world, without any chance of coming back. Knowing all the risks, how far will they go? The deeper they venture, the more they risk never waking up again. While Inception is far from perfect, it’s certainly ambitious and courageous. Don’t worry too much about the plot and spoilers. It’s so complicated that you won’t get all of it from watching it once. It’s worth watching a couple of times. (2) Source code A lot of movies waste time getting to the point. But Source Code, directed by Duncan Jones, gets straight to the crux of the matter. It feels as if there is no beginning— there is a middle part, and then one of the most delightful cinematic endings I have ever seen. The movie starts with Colter Stevens, a US military pilot who wakes up on a train to Chicago only to find out that he’s in someone else’s body. The last thing he remembers is his plane crashing after an encounter with Afghan militants. How did he get here? As he tries to come to terms with everything that’s happening, a bomb detonates and everything ends. To his horror, he finds himself in an even more perplexing situation: He is injured, immobilized, and in some sort of cockpit. Was the train real? Or is this real? (3) Predestination A temporal agent (Ethan Hawke) embarks on a final time-traveling assignment to prevent an elusive criminal from launching an attack that kills thousands of people. As his last assignment, a temporal agent is tasked to travel back in time and prevent a bomb attack in New York in 1975. The hunt, however, turns out to be beyond the bounds of possibility. (4) Fractured After his wife and injured daughter disappear from the emergency room, a man becomes convinced the hospital is hiding something, was the hospital hiding something or was it just his mind playing tricks (5) Shutter Island Shutter Island is one of the best psychological thrillers to come out in decades. It messes with your mind and leaves you guessing for a long time after the credits roll. You’ll feel like you are in the driver’s seat for the most part as the lead investigates to find out more about an escaped convict, but the ending will compel you to question if the enemies are heroes and vice versa. It’s packed with enough twists and turns to make you dizzy! Can you figure it out on your own? It’s a whole different experience when you watch it for the first time. You’ll look at everything from a different viewpoint this time around. It’s a mind-bender all the way through. (6) The prestige The Prestige is one of the best works of director Christopher Nolan (who also directed Memento and Inception). The plot revolves around two rival magicians whose friendly competition devolves into a fierce battle. They sabotage each other’s performances on stage and when one of them finally manages to perform the ultimate illusion, the other delves deep to disclose the secret behind it, with unforeseen repercussions. Their intense rivalry turns them into murderers, jeopardizing the lives of everyone around them. The movie begins like a camera out of focus and the plotline flips forward and backward in time, making everything more puzzling. It all seems so random until the last few minutes when everything finally starts falling into place. The Prestige will agitate you, but you will love it. (7) The fountain The assumption behind the story is pretty simple: A man is hopelessly trying to save his wife from dying. And that’s where the simplicity ends. The whole story takes place in three different times – past, future, and future. As these three stories are interwoven, three different men represent one man’s pursuit. Are you confused? Get used to it. ( Donnie DarkoA parallel universe has been created by mistake, which could mean the end of the real world if it doesn’t collapse safely. Donnie, a troubled teenage boy, finds himself vested with all the powers to get the job done. This is his world where he can make and break rules to save the real world from collapsing. Who is Donnie Darko? What kind of name is that? Maybe he is a superhero. Maybe he is just like us. He could be brilliant, or he could be insane. What is real and what is not? This movie is going to compel you to find answers to all these perplexing questions by yourself.
