toluxa1: If you are buying for personal use and you know you are in an area where you get sufficient WIFI then you can go for it. Once thing you must know about Chinese Tabs that you external dongles is that, most of our modems here cannot work on them. You need a modem that runs on Linux to work on those Tabs. The only thing is to ask the seller to include the modem for you, that way, you'll be sent one of those Linux based modems that works on Chinese android Tabs. I have one of them and it doesn't even work on windows at all.

Airtel E173 modem works perfectly with those chinese tabs this is tested and confirmed by me

my friend who have been buying lot of stuff from Aliexpress with his UBA Africard tried to order for a laptop from Aliexpress begining of this week the msg he got was that his payment was declined that his card have been black listed so he rushed to GTB he just open a new account with GTB and he is waiting for 2weeks to get his master card which he would use to place his order so it not getting UBA africard that the issue

dickjay: Maxi, you remember I complained about same issues. It is not token problem cause I have one but it is like aliexpress is no longer accepting debit cards, I saw that on their site, you were lucky to succeed on friday. If your friend's cash is on hold, he'll only need to send the decline note (screenshot) to gtbank and it will be resolved less you will need to wait for 30days to have ur cash back. Enjoy

I successfully made payment on saturday for my order on Aliexpress with my GTB naira master card and i didnot apply for token before using my card, one of my friends tried to pay for his order on monday using his GTB naira master card but it was not successful the msg he got was that the bank declined the payment but he applied and activated his token before using the card his money got stock as it was not in his account and after series of calls and email sending his money was returned aproximately the next 30hrs, another of my friend who didnot apply for token Today he tried using his GTB naira master card to make payment for his order but it was not successful now his 23k is stock and he has called GTB customer care and sent the neccessary emails he was told to send so he is still waiting for a refund of his 23k can someone tell me what the cause of this problems and what steps should one take to avoid all this problems

MTN magic sim settings for unlimited browsing still works i just configured some sim cards so speculations going around that is now blocked are false, also if Multilinks network is available in your Area you can also browse and download unlimitedly using Multilinks if you need any of the settings you can send your request to my email maxibrainz55@gmail.com i am still cooking something up on Airtel whem am done i get you guys updated

Pls guys i want to buy a modem for my friend but i dont know which one to buy. I dont like a universal modem because the one sold in my area is a 3G universal modem and does not work well with MTN because MTN 3G service is not available in my area. So guys i need your advice, which network modem should i buy, i want a 3G network modem i can unlock to use all the networks.
