US President-elect Joe Biden has won the state of Georgia, the BBC projects, the first Democratic candidate to do so since 1992. The win solidifies Mr Biden's victory, giving him a total of 306 votes in the electoral college, the system the US uses to choose its president. President Donald Trump is projected to win North Carolina, reaching 232 votes. Mr Trump, who has not yet conceded, alluded for the first time to a possible new administration in January. Looking subdued, the president stopped short of acknowledging his defeat during a briefing of his coronavirus task force at the White House, his first public appearance since his election defeat was projected by US media. As the country faces growing outbreaks of Covid-19, Mr Trump said he would not impose a lockdown to fight the virus, adding: "Whatever happens in the future, who knows which administration it will be. I guess time will tell." The president, who did not mention Mr Biden by name, did not take questions from reporters. Pressure is growing on Mr Trump, a Republican, to acknowledge Mr Biden's victory and help prepare the transition from one administration to another. https://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2020-54939212?iorg_service_id_internal=624173547714020%3BAfr2_POrQIFsz_Yt

Lol I have a friend He said corruption is in every Nigerian.... He said if he should become the president of Nigeria today its either he loots the money legally or illegally Lol weird right..... I also tried to ask him what he meant by looting legally... Mhen his response was he would plant almost all his families into one or two big positions. Imagine the mentality,.... I didnt really blame him cos thats how it has been in this country.. our past leaders have really dented our good side We the youths really need rigid orientations... I repeat rigid orientation!!!! And as for me NOPE!!! |
Ekwutox:Again, all u know how to do is to always reply with hateful words... You you can not relate when it comes to love and affection since all you know in life and your response to everything under the sun is hatred and that's exactly what you jumped into this thread to do. See, you are very predictable because you have nothing to offer humanity beyond hatred and bitterness. I'd be very surprised to see you and your kind display anything beyond hatred and bitterness, you basically carry that sadness on your shoulder from thread to thread and topic to topic. Sad and pathetic.. |
