@ovosoftware thank God you said professionals. I'm still a beginner so you can understand the way I still view things. I compare based on their prices in ascending other. The money I would use to buy a mac of 2gb ram can get a decent Alienware pc.

I develop Web apps, so the only place I think that kind of a moster spec would be feasible is only on a server.

The op should also talk about his budget, to get more specific suggestions.

I need a low-budget laptop, but one that wouldn't over-heat or start running slow when i'll have to write heavy code!
