A federal judge on Friday struck down a Trump administration policy enacted after the shooting of two National Guard members that made it harder for immigrants from dozens of countries to stay and enter the United States

In a ruling harshly criticizing the administration, U.S. District Chief Judge John McConnell Jr. said the policy “threw the lives of countless immigrants living in the United States into indeterminate legal limbo,” and he accused the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services of ignoring the law.

“In enacting its latest immigration policies, USCIS: claims statutory and regulatory authority that it does not possess; makes decisions without the reasoned explanations that it must provide; acts without regard for the reliance interests of applicants that it must consider; and justifies its actions with pretextual concerns of ‘national security’ that mask anti-immigrant sentiments that it is forbidden from letting influence its decision-making,” he wrote. “In legal terms that means USCIS’s actions are contrary to law and arbitrary and capricious.”

I posted a video in my last comment. One of the reasons I don't bother arguing with women and don't give a damn about whether they think my comment is pandering or not is because with time, women eventually find out the truth. Time is a beautiful patient bride for men but an ugly tortuous truth for women. I need to copyright that. Women also don't like being told the truth, so keep telling them beautiful lies if you want to make them happy.

What happens to these women is that they have to settle. It was never a competition but the system does not favor men initially, it beats them but once you clock 30, things start to change. Men who learned from the beatings will start to look good while women who didn't know time changes yesterday will wake up to the reality of a new dawn. This is why the world always tried to raise the girl child more than the boy child because men can make many mistakes and still recover. A woman's recovery is usually hard if she makes mistakes, so man overtime knew this and wanted to raise her because they knew the future isn't nice, it can be harsh.

It's often too late before women realize in their 40s that the select few men they want are either married or not interested in them because of their age. They are then susceptible to fork boys/men and younger men who are still discovering themselves and not emotionally/financially mature for them. Women know themselves, that's why it's usually difficult for mothers to accept their sons marrying an old woman say 25 yo man vs 40 yo woman. The women know themselves. Women wake up one day later in life to see they are not as beautiful as they thought and newer editions have come out. Attention has gone to the beautyful ones who are born and trending.

Lenghty post ruined by misinformation. Nigerians pay some of the lowest tax in Africa and our tax to GDP ratio is around 10%. Lower than the African average of 16.5%.

We pay 7.5% value added tax while many African nation set VAT above 15%.

Diversifying our economy away from reliance on oil, over time, is the best way to make Nigerians and Nigeria richer.

Over years, and perhaps not deliberately, leaders impoverish Nigeria and Nigerians subsidizing every sector leading to an economy that has no buffers to withstand even the mildest economic stress.

They weaponised poverty with numerous subsidies giving a people with low exposure and expectations cheap fuel, unfeasible and self-destructively low power supply tariffs, cheap and substandard education incaple of producing the STEM standard (science, technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Nigwria needs to creat her own solutions across all sectors of socio-economic life, etc, etc.

That is the culture we have to reverse to gain a Country where private sector wealth creation, like the USA, can be commendable.and a driver of greater individual and national wealth.

I just wanted to point out that you should restate it to - declared tax to GDP ratio. In Nigeria, half of raised taxes are not declared. They go to personal purses. When Oshiomhole was governor in Edo State, over 70% of taxes raised were not declared by the government. Tony Kabaka who raised the taxes for the government did not even declared one half to the government. So you can continue your statistics

You don’t understand how it works. Every company has a certain number of shares but when it is private company only by valuation of assets and goodwill that they got $5B. But when you go public, you will give an amount to each share times the total number of shares. If Dangote has 5billion share and says each share is $10, that will be $50B valuation
All of a sudden he will become very rich because he is only giving out 10% of the shares. In true sense, he doesn’t have that physical cash. But he can be lucky some company can acquire it by $60 billion even about the valuation by share

Where is it a crime in Nigeria under Nigeria’s constitution? I am not referring to any religious law. The people harassing them are the ones committing a crime. If you are not satisfied with your spouse’s action or activity, you divorce.
