My biggest problem is the indiscriminate hike in fees or prices without regard to economic data. If the government database says inflation is 15%. Why would any sensible increase go beyond inflation data. Every time I lived in UK and US, Utilities companies and other companies will send you so many letters to increase price by 1% or 2%. Who increases price by 82% Government is learning from market women instead of it to show good example of price hike if needed. |

Kobicove: This does not cure the fact that he acted in bad faith
What if after withdrawing the 16 million their warehouse caught fire and all the remaining goods were destroyed so you think he will be willing to refund the 16 million so that the other partners can take their share of it? I am not defending him. I just clarified the question or assumption made. The person I quoted believed he took the money while 320 million goods were unsold. That is not the case. He took the 16m money from 320m in their joint account. That is left with 304m. They were to share this money equally. They could still share it while accounting for the shortfall of 16m. Don’t you think so? He ought to tell his partner that he was going to take t16m from their 320m in the bank. That ought not to be a problem. It was wrong for his partner to start shaming him when he can still get his share of 160m same day. Both of their actions have ruined a burgeoning partnership that led to a proceed of 320m because of a resolvable friction. |

He said they already have a proceeds/ profit of about 320 million naira in the bank and the remaining unsold gods were with his business partners which probably worth more that 16million naira. CharlesCNG: Apparently, you are not in the mood for monkeys and bananas, but you are perfectly in the mood for confusion and irrelevance.
First, this is Nairaland, not your sitting room. I can comment on any aspect of a discussion I find interesting. I do not require your permission or approval.
Second, if you truly understood logic, you would know that responding to one point does not preclude commenting on another. That is how discussions work.
Third, spare me the lecture on logic. A man who believes every comment must be confined to the narrow boundaries he approves of is hardly qualified to teach others how to reason.
And since you are so fond of dismissing arguments as stories, perhaps you should first learn that debates are won with counterarguments, not with monkeys, bananas and manufactured outrage.
The irony is that those who constantly invoke "logic" are often the first to abandon it when confronted with inconvenient points.
But by all means, continue. You are providing entertainment if not enlightenment. I enjoy debates and I am not against you quoting me. You ruined it with your first generalization implying I am an obedient follower that is somewhat delusional. I am not an obedient fan. I didn’t see him as a good governor but people have long forgotten what is good governance. All they just want is security which is the most basic function of government. lol. Yet people like you still praise the government of the day. You bore me with your meagre mind. Nigeria has lost his statehood. People like you feel government are doing their best. Lol. The government has done nothing. They still budget billions to buy cutleries every year why people cannot travel from point A to B in Nigeria. They are still stealing money every minute while the country is being overrun by bandits. Do you know how government invest in technology and people to ensure their countries are protected? If you had descended into your plethora of writing without your assumption, I will have no qualms with you. Again, there is an easterner already on presidential ticket that is top contender if election is free and fair |
Politics › Re: Kenneth Okonkwo Withdraws Support For Atiku by Mayflowa(m): 6:52am On Jun 16 |
CharlesCNG: typical obidient's tinubu deflection.
Those lamenting the possibility of the South-East being denied the ADC vice-presidential slot should perhaps be more concerned about whether the APC vice-presidential ticket in 2031 will even go to the region.
Politics rewards strategy, coalition-building and long memories. It rarely rewards insults, emotionalism and the politics of permanent outrage.
If present trends continue, the tragedy may not be 2027, but that the South-East could find itself repeatedly bypassed in 2039 and even 2047 by major parties.
That would be unfortunate, because competent leaders like Dave Umahi and Charles Soludo do not deserve to inherit the consequences of years of political self-sabotage.
In politics, grievances alone do not secure power. Strategy does. I dont know a thing of what you’re talking about. Kenneth mentioned he left because easterner was not on vice-presidential ticket with Atiku. The person I quoted was welcoming him to Tinubu’s party as if there was an easterner on ticket with Tinubu. That was the essence of my question. Logic. I am not in the mood for stories of monkeys and bananas. |

His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) has always appreciated strategic brilliance with specialized subject matter. Is Tinubu vice going to be from South East in 2027? |
