TenQ: The numbers of perpetual virgins vary o depending on the hadith you read and whether you are a a matyr or not.
The number varies from 2 Houris and several inmates of hell
70 Houri plus inmates of hell
72 Houri plus inmates of hell
Unlimited number of Houri plus inmates of hell
These doesn't exclude Muslim women and your wives here on earth.
Modern Muslims with lies : once you read their Tafsir you know that these are no fruit BUT the promise of Allah of perpetual big breasted, transparent, voluptuous, young perpetual virgins Look up helios christos, christian.

SIRTee15: Have checked Tertullian and his own web of lies. He did more work on early church writings than irenaeus. Maybe that will help u feel better. Tertulian also formed up the word “trinity”, a constantine concept. Look up helios christos, you are worshipping a Roman Parody!

SIRTee15: Have checked Tertullian and his own web of lies. He did more work on early church writings than irenaeus. Maybe that will help u feel better. Tertulian is a Montanist. Of the many gospels written in antiquity, exactly four gospels came to be accepted as part of the New Testament, or canonical. An insistence upon a canonical four, and no others, was a central theme of Irenaeus of Lyon.He claimed only four in number; according to Romer, "like the four zones of the world, the four winds, the four divisions of man’s estate, and the four forms of the first living creatures – the lion of Mark, the calf of Luke, the man of Matthew, the eagle of John." The names of the authors of the gospels were assigned to the works by the early church fathers in the 2nd century AD; none of the writers signed their work as they remained unknown.

Wilgrea7: I'll leave it at that for now on this subject.
PLEASE NOTE: I am not saying a god does not or cannot exist. As an agnostic, I'm more than open to the idea in the presence of sufficient proof.
However, the arguments often put forward, like the ones stated above, do nothing to support the existence of a god, as they could be used to justify other things in place of this "god"
I hope theists who use these sort of arguments can learn from them. I'll also be making reference to this thread whenever arguments like these are used in the future.
MaxInDHouse, Aemmyjah, TenQ, and other people I've forgotten to mention, please take note of these. Criticisms and opinions are of course always welcome. Define “Universe”, are you saying this creator created existence? That means this creator cannot be a supreme “being”, maybe a supreme “non-being” though.

SIRTee15: Irenaeus couldn't have met any of the 12 disciples because they were all dead by the time he was born. That's what I meant, thus cannot be qualified to be called an apostolic father.
Irenaeus was a student of Polycarp who died 155 AD. Iranaeus couldn’t have said Polycarp was a student of john. Even in the purported book written by polycarp, he never mentioned meeting john. I asked you, who made this people “apostolic fathers”? And the gospel of john was written by an unknown person, there is no JOHN. There was no apostles to meet!

SIRTee15: Apostolic fathers were early church leaders who personally met and knew the 12 apostles of Jesus. Irenaeus was born in 130AD, he couldn't have met any of them. All what you just said comes from iraneus, if he was born in 130AD, how did he know? Surely he must have read it somewhere? Post another evidence apart from iraneus that was not born then.

Were there Christians in the 1st century? If your answer is no, then who are father Clement, father Ignatius and Polycarp. Were they also invented by whatever as alluded by your confused colleague hackermind9009. Why are you calling them fathers if they are not pope? How do you know they are fathers? There was no “Christianity” in first century. The New Testament was written in greek, and it is written as CHRESTIANS!
