Christianity EtcBiblical Literalism And Mental Psychosis-- ADAM AND EVE. by Maynman(op):
Origen, On First Principles.

"Now what man or woman of INTELLIGENCE will believe that the first and the second and the third day, and the evening and the morning existed with the sun and moon and stars? And that the first day, if we may so call it, was even without a heaven? And who is so silly as to believe that God, after the manner of a farmer, ‘planted a paradise eastward of Eden’, and set in it a visible and palpable ‘tree of life’, of such a sort that anyone who tasted its fruit with his bodily teeth would gain life; and again that one could partake of ‘good and evil’ by masticating the fruit taken from the tree of that name? . ."

Only a very gullible person would read the story of Adam and Eve literally. To begin with, the Genesis Creation story is a doublet, it contains 2 creation Stories.
The first creation of man story is in Genesis 1:27, while the second is in Genesis 2:7.

The etymology of the word "Adam" connects it with "Adamah," which means "ground or soil," and "Adom," which means "red." This suggests that Adam was formed from red soil or clay.
The Hebrew name for Eve, "Chavah," derives from the word "chai," meaning "life," as she was the mother of all living people.

It's important to know that the English word "Adam" is a translation of two different Hebrew words and has two different meanings depending on the context:

1. A group of humans consisting of at least one male and one female.
2. An individual human male.

"So God created man [Hebrew hā·’ā·ḏām] in his own image; in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them..." (Genesis 1:27).

"When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female; at the time they were created, he blessed them and called them man [Hebrew ’ā·ḏām]" (Genesis 5:2).

Now the Lord God had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man [Hebrew hā·’ā·ḏām] he had formed' (Genesis 2:8.

In all these instances, "Adam"/Man means humans (both male and female), not a single sex.
Some scholars have suggested that the Jewish creation story in Genesis 2:7-8 is a version inspired by the Akkadian epic, Athra-hasis, as both share similar themes, such as creation, population growth, rebellion, and flood.

Returning to the story of Adam in the Genesis creation account, we see that Adam/"man" comes in two forms: male and female, Androgenous. Adam had both sexes.

In Gen. 2:21 states that “He took one of his ribs.” One should understands zela (rib) as “side,” as in (Ex. 26:20) “and for the other side wall [zela] of the Tabernacle”; hence, the gods created Eve from Adam’s sides, signifying a separation of the sexes.

All these is just to illustrate that the story should not be taken literally, Adam and Eve are but metaphors, an allegories.
The concept of "Original Sin" was first developed as a DOCTRINE by the 2nd-century Bishop Irenaeus and later elaborated by Augustine, but it has no factual basis. It's important to free yourself from the literal interpretation of this story which results into GUILT.

In the biblical author's world, there were no apples, no devil, and no original sin. It was simply a narrative. Even Jews don't believe in this tale literally. Figures like Maimonides, one of the great rabbis of the Middle Ages, believed that the Torah should be understood in a way that aligns with the findings of science.
Judaism accepts experimentally proven facts and observations of the theory of evolution.

Biblical literalists not only believe in a literal Adam or Eve but also insist that the Earth is less than 7,000 years old. However, scientific evidence contradicts this belief. The oldest human remains, known as the "Omo I Remains" were found in Ethiopia and date back approximately 230,000 years.
https://news.sky.com/story/scientists-find-oldest-ever-confirmed-human-fossils-are-even-older-than-previously-thought-12514360

Even Going deeper into Jewish texts, ancient rabbinic sources(Bereshis Rabah, Midrash Tehillim, Midrash Tanchuma, Avos D'Rabbi Nosson, Talmud Bavli Shabbos 88B) suggest that the Torah was concealed for 974 generations before Adam. This indicates that the Torah had a pre-existing history long before it was given to Moses, who lived many generations after Adam.
Psalm 105:8 emphasizes Elohim's everlasting covenant, which extends for a thousand generations.
According to the traditional Jewish sources, Moses' lineage given in the Torah, he was the 26th generation after Adam. 974 plus 26 equals 1,000.

How do you calculate the length of a generation?
In modern times, a generation is considered to be a period of about 20 to 30 years. Biblical scholars suggest that a generation, according to how time periods are listed in the Bible, could be 40 years or more.

Genesis 2:26- "Let US (many) make man in OUR (many) image (God/s) ... and created MAN ... male and female."

I hope you know some of these adages are outdated ma. You can literally grow a mango on a Neem tree. Agriculture has advanced.
Humans can advance too beyond selfishness and self centeredness. Things are changing
If you don't love yourself, how can you love others?
If you are not joyous, how can you share joy?
You can only share what you are hence A Neem tree may wish a million times to produce sweet mango fruits but what can happen by wishing?

Be selfish.

The idea that humans need to be selfish is a primitive instinct. We are conscious animals who can understand the importance of kindness and being selfish.

There will be much growth where there is selflessness and unity compared to where there is selfishness and self centeredness
A Neem tree may wish a million times to produce sweet mango fruits but what can happen by wishing?

You need to love yourself totally before you can love others, if you don't know what love is, how can you share it?

It's through selfishness that altruism is possible.

Christianity EtcRe: The Crowd. by Maynman(op):
"A sufi monk regularly went to the mosque his whole life.
He went so regularly, 5 times a day to read the prayers, that people have forgotten to think that there might be a time that he will not come to the mosque ;Once or twice It had happened, when he was very ill and he could not get up.
He never left the village because perhaps in the other village there is no mosque at all.

But one morning , people found that he has not come.
He had come the previous evening, he was perfectly okay, he cannot have fallen sick.
The only suspicion was that the old man might have died.
Coming out of the mosque, the people went straight to his house.
He was in front of his home, sitting in front of the hut under a tree playing his drum and singing songs.
They asked him, have you become an atheist in your old age? Commiting sacrilege at this age? You have become a kafir? Why did you not come to the mosque?.
The monk laughed and said I went as long as I was ignorant.
Untill he did not know that the godliness is everywhere, I went to mosque.
Now that I know that it is everywhere, it's here and there also; where to go?
Now wherever I am, I will sing, now every song is a prayer.
But the Crowd did not agree with this, they said he has gone senile in his old age.

So the crowd will say to you that you have gone mad. They will not understand your ways.
They are right in what they say, but this madness is the greatest intelligence in the world.
Buddha was also told by the Crowd: you have gone mad.
Jesus was also told by the Crowd: you have gone mad.
The Crowd has been saying this.

You are Fortunate that the crowd says to you that you are Crazy.
Do not think of this madness as misery.
Consider this as the Crowd paying its respect to you."
Christianity EtcRe: The Crowd. by Maynman(op): 8:14pm On Oct 21, 2023
"In a crowd, all responsibility is lost.
One becomes intoxicated by the mob.
So many people are doing it; it must be right.
Individuals have never committed crimes of the magnitude that a mob has.
Individuals are behind small, petty crimes. The real crimes are those of the crowd.
With the support of the mob, crime feels like a virtuous deed.
If you do it alone, it will weigh on your conscience. It will hurt your inner conscience.
When you do it alongside the mob, you are not bothered by your conscience. People want to be with the crowd because it is the easiest way to lose your self.
And the mob wants you to stay within it because of the strength of the mob.

When you start working by yourself, when you become an individual, you live by your own conscience.
Now you shall do what seems right to you, not what the crowd says is okay. Now you make your own decisions, and you will be responsible for your own actions, whether they are crimes or virtues.

Many times there will be a significant gap between you and the crowd."

Now, when we perceive colors, visually we are not seeing the entirety of the color spectrum (thanks to the limits of our visual range), but to move on with life, we simply accept that the range of green our eyes see is the objective green.
Without eyes, there will be no light or darkness and the spectrum of colors.
Without eyes, sun will not be light.
