Christianity Etc › Re: Deborah's Death; "Jesus Was Not A Christian"" by Maynman: 11:48pm On May 13, 2022 |
Kobojunkie: God created Adam, and declared all His creation good. However, man chose to defy God and ended up cursed by God - Genesis 3 vs 16 - 22. Since then men have been born sons of men, not Sons of God.
We were created by God but we do not reflect God as sons of men. Instead, as Jesus Christ tried to teach you there in John 8 vs 31 - 35, it is only through living life in continuous submission and obedience of His teachings(and commandments), God's Truth, that one is eventually set free by God's Truth from slavery to sin, and transformed into a Son of God, a holy/Perfect vessel worthy of God's own Spirit to dwell inside of - John 14 vs 15 - 25. Only then can we be said to reflect God. If god created us how can we defy him? Did man also create himself? Give himself thoughts? And before man defy this god, this god did not know prior to it? |

Kobojunkie: The only "revelation" in all of those passages is that the evil is inside of men and men the evil you ought to beware of. The wickedness in the hearts of men, is what sin is birthed from.
Nothing about satan. Satan is instead God's own creation and worker who scripture also reveals can only be rebuked by God. Was it not “god” that created us? We are a reflecting of this “god”. |

Ken4Christ: The Jews and Christians worship the same God but the Muslims worship Allah who is not the God and father of my Lord Jesus. “God” is a title. The name of your deity is yahweh, the son of Elohim and Asheerah. |
Christianity Etc › Re: "If Jesus Is God, Then Why Did He Say That The Father Was Greater Than He?" by Maynman: 11:21pm On May 13, 2022 |
Ken4Christ: Jesus said that the father is greater than him in the sense that he reports to him and not the other way round in just the way subordinates report to superiors. But it does not make him less God in the same way you are not less a man or human because you report to your superior.
Notice before he said, My Father is greater than I, he had said, I go unto the Father.
So, it is in the light of the fact that he is subject to the father that he said My father is greater than I. And not in the light of the essence of the nature of God he has.
The fullness of God dwells in Jesus. He is not a lesser God. He is fully God and also reports to his Father who is his God. He is in the same class as God. A master is different from apprentice. |

Obafavour: Look at my comment with what you post. Transiliteration help you pronounce something. Iesus was transiliterated from ieosus just to help the latin to pronounce well and for better understanding. Ieosus and iesus still refering to that "yeshua" only transiliteration. Then jesus was either derived or transiliterated from iesus simple! Still saying the same thing, Try and understand me. I too know don kill you. It’s only joshua that’s the correct TRANSLATION/ correspond of yeshau from Greek “lesous”. Jesus is a Latin name that’s TRANSLITERATED.

The ROMAN CATHOLIC transliterated it to Latin lesus and still had the guts to remove “l”and put “j” because of the trinity agenda. Was New Testament written for the LATIN? It was written in Greek not Latin. So desperate to promote your deity, you can now see the huge influence of Catholic in your Christianity |

Christianity Etc › Re: The Desciples Converted Gentiles To Judaism, Why Is Christianity A Religion by Maynman: 3:03pm On May 13, 2022 |
MaxInDHouse: Jesus was the last true prophet who lived by the Old Covenant and introduce the New Covenant. Judaism was instituted by a Jewish sect called Pharisees after the return of Jews from exile. There was nothing called Judaism until after the Jews returned from Babylon that's why the adherents of this religion keep having serious issues with Jesus and his disciples because it has become adulterated religion not what the ancient servants of God practiced. So after Jesus' ascension to heaven the Holy Spirit anointed Jesus' disciples, this serves as a sign that God has chosen a new nation and everything the Jews were practicing in the temple has become null and void! Act 2:1-4
God has promised the Jews that He will pour out some of His spirit on those who kept His covenant to the end {Joel 2:28-30} but sadly by the time Messiah (Christ) will arrive Satan has really turned everything Moses and the prophets laid down upside down, that's why john told that sect pioneering Judaism inside God's temple:
But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth, good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Matthew 3:7-10 Jesus continue pointing out the flaws in Judaism until he was finally killed by those judaists. His disciples were continually criticized in all the synagogues of Jews were Judaism is practiced. Act 13:50; 14:2, 19; 17:13
So Judaism is not what the disciples of Jesus practiced otherwise there wouldn't have been any issue between them and the Jews, in fact Jews today practicing Judaism never agree that Jesus of Nazareth is a prophet of God because of the way he criticized Judaism! Judaism doesn’t criticize “Jesus”,they don’t even think about him, they just don’t believe in him the same you also don’t right? |

Obafavour: Transiliteration does nt mean antonymous in meaning. Many of the english you speak are not derived but transiliterated but if you look at it you're refering to the same thing. Transiliteration help you in pronuncing something your language probably by changing alphabet. E.g Chair (english) = aga (yoruba) that's translation but see this Table (english) = tabili (yoruba) Mango (english) = mangoro(yoruba) These are nt translation they are transiliteration, they help you pronounce a word in your language, but that doesn't mean you aren't saying the same thing. So also applicable to Ieosus (greek) = iesus (latin) They still refer to the same name. Only the spelling differs. Why are you lying to promote your deity?

Yahweh has a mother and a wife too, asheera. Yahweh has more sons. the three sons of Yahweh are listed as Yao, Eloai, and Astaphaios. Yahweh is not the most high, he is just one of the sons of Elohim, and Hebrew Bible is only talking about Israel that’s why it’s bias. |
