Me i believe what i read in the Bible about Jesus so go and convince people out there that it's what Romans said that they're reading not Jesus' words! You believe what you read in the Bible versions created by sects, why not use the original Bible? Didn’t you say this before? You only use The version from the fallen watchers

MaxInDHouse: I quoted verses 12 & 13, Jesus said there are many more things he need to tell them which means it's what they could understand that he's telling them in plain words. So from verse 1-11 are things they could understand but there are still many more things to tell them but they can't grasp it until later! The conversation didn’t start from verse 12 and 13. It was a continuous conversation starting from the first verse to the last, and if you follow the conversation it relates to what they have been saying from verse 1 till the last verse in the chapter. where did you get resurrection from? Read! That’s no gap between verse 11 and 12, it’s the same line.

MaxInDHouse: I'm not interested in blind arguments this morning, i've shown you what Jesus taught and so far so good true Christians today have made millions of DISCIPLES, they don't carry weapons or participate in politics. That's enough evidence for anyone who wants to know the real Jesus who was given the title CHRIST! I’m not interested in shameless liars this morning. Everything Jesus said was taught was collected and complied by the ROMAN CATHOLIC , they decided what jesus said or not, look up “Catholic epistle” and biblical canonization. “Chrestian” was a termed first used to refer to narazanes by Tertulian, member of the Roman Catholic. When “Jesus” was alive, he was neither referred to as Christ or “Jesus”, These names have Latin and Greek origin and i thought “jesus” is a Jew? Can you now see the influence of ROMAN CATHOLIC in the Christianity we have now.

Christianity Etc › Re: Extremism In Religion by Maynman: 8:04am On May 13, 2022 |
MaxInDHouse: You're right to a degree according to history. And that's exactly what the Arab world noticed about Rome's dominance over the world of that time so they decided to play the same card with what a man called Muhammad started in their midst. Though they killed him themselves but then they realized that they could also use this tool to recruit soldiers from place to place fighting in support of the Arab world to gain world dominance. That's what they're doing now. But as for Romans that were fighting and killing people to rule them forcefully they are not Christians at all because the man Jesus of Nazareth who is called "CHRIST" never taught his disciples to use force in gaining control {Matthew 26:52} rather he taught them to love and care for everyone {Mark 12:31} including their enemies! Matthew 5:43-48 So those Romans only use the name Jesus for the wrong motive, they were never his disciples! Christ is not a name but a title. What time did Christianity start? Romans have already conquered the world they didn’t need “Christianity”. “Christian” is even a term created by the Roman Catholic, Tertulian. without the crusaders, Christianity wouldn’t have spread, Christianity was a small sect back then, it was ROMAN CATHOLIC that made it a mainstream religion, and not only that, the Romans only accepted the orthodox Christianity sects, any other Christian sects were killed and only orthodox was recognized as the main Christianity. All the books you are quoting about Christ were complied by Roman Catholic. They made it possible for you to be able to see those New Testament verses. Without the Romans adopting Christianity you won’t be one.

Christianity Etc › Re: Question Christians Couldn't Answer. Perhaps You Could! by Maynman: 7:49am On May 13, 2022 |
MaxInDHouse: You be confirmed MUMU!
Jesus knew very well that none of his disciples could understand how Christ's resurrection will be that's why he told them:
“I still have many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them now. However, when that one comes, the spirit of the truth, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak of his own initiative, but what he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things to come. That one will glorify me, because he will receive from what is mine and will declare it to you. John 16:12-14
They never heard of spirit resurrection before so it's until they've received the Holy Spirit that they can decipher such a thing! 1Corinthians 15:44-45
So Jesus has to assure them that it's him but they can't understand why he has to become a spirit after his resurrection! Latin Jesus was talking to them here about how they will suffer in the world and not about resurrection.

Christianity Etc › Re: Extremism In Religion by Maynman: 7:38am On May 13, 2022 |
MaxInDHouse: Extremism is not new. Pharaoh of Egypt cruelly dealt with Israelites and made them slaves, Nebuchadnezzar ordered the burning of three Jews, Jesus was impaled, Stephen was stoned to death and Paul was beaten many times near death. All these are the results of extremism in religion. Jesus of Nazareth has forewarned that during the last days extremism in religion will get out of hand and become a global phenomenon and it will continue until the conclusion of this system of things. So we should be careful with what we utter in the public and most especially in the midst of religionists who believes in physically fighting to support/promote their gods/religions.
Today Islam seems to be the extremist group and it's so because religion is one of the tools politicians uses to gain power. So as long as the world is under the control of politicians EXTREMISM and TERRORISM will always be here! Revelations 6:3-4 Christianity is also an extremist group and it was because of that Christianity was able to spread around the world(crusade). During the Roman Empire, Roman Catholic uses Crusaders to kill and maim people that are not Christian converts and they use Christianity to take over people’s land and properties. |

Kobojunkie: This wasn't about winning any argument since there is no rule given by the writer of the original text that when translated to other languages, only one word can be used while other synonyms of the same word rendered invalid.
The Hebrew word mitzvot when translated to English language corresponds to the words command, commandment, rule, edict, law, law, precept etc., which are as indicated in the dictionary too.
You conveniently looked up the Oxford dictionary meaning of the word commandment and decided there and then that Oxford definition was the reserved divine meaning, ignoring the fact that other translation of the same word have it linked to other English words. These are what rule, precept and law means in Hebrew and they don’t correlate with “mitzvot”. Mitzvot specifically meant commandments

Kobojunkie: Um.... Sin is as defined in God's Law. Revelations is not a book of God's Law this since John, the writer is not God. So I don't know why you would assume that you should quote of the definition of sin from the book of Revelations.
So, you need to find the specific sin first, so you are at least sure of what it is you accuse me of. Jesus Also didn’t write any book, all the books about Jesus are written by another person and they are Unknown authors, “Catholic epistle”. Your logic doesn’t add up. |

Kobojunkie: Pay attention....
1. That one English word was reserved to be used by whom, how?
The Laws were penned in Hebrew so how could the word Commandment have been reserved for use in reference to divine rule by the author of the law?
2. Nothing like overzelousness here since I don't operate under the delusion that particular English words are reserved by anyone on behalf of God.
By the way you accused me of sin earlier, but you have yet to reveal the scriptural detail of the sin in question, how come? Commandments is used for divine rule, how many times do you hear “commandments” everyday? But we hear “command” everyday, it’s simple, but it doesn’t fit your hag agenda. |

See how the word Commandment is in fact said to be born from the word Command? Commandments was written in Hebrew not old French or English. Commandments are used for religious duty. Even in your screenshot you see the definition they give to commandments? “Divine rule”. Is command a “divine rule”?

You have to explain what you mean by that to me cause I have no idea what that means. Yes it is making reference to commandments, when you read the Bible and not assume you will have an idea.
