The historic Notre Dame Cathedral which stood for 800 years was destroyed by a raging fire that tore through the wooden interior of the building on Monday. Firefighters and first responders scrambled to save the priceless art and other treasures inside the burning Cathedral.

The fire began near the Cathedral's iconic spire which was under renovation. The flames quickly spread across the roof to the church's landmark rectangular towers.

Dramatic news footage showed the moment when the soaring spire collapsed inside the Catholic church. French citizens watched in horror as the historic buildings went up in flames.

"Everything is burning, nothing will remain from the frame," said Cathedral spokesperson Andre Finot.

Finot said the entire wooden interior of the Notre Dame is engulfed in flames.

U.S. President Trump tweeted about the fire on Monday afternoon.

"So horrible to watch the massive fire at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. Perhaps flying water tankers could be used to put it out. Must act quickly!"

Doctors in Europe have announced a second person "cured" of HIV - the virus that causes AIDS. This is the second time doctors have placed a HIV patient into "sustained remission" with a stem cell transplant.

The news comes 10 years after Timothy Ray Brown, aka the "Berlin Patient" became the first HIV patient to be "functionally cured" of HIV, meaning the virus is totally undetectable in his bloodstream. Brown was able to stop taking antiviral medications after an intensive round of chemotherapy and radiation and two bone marrow transplants as part of his cancer treatment.

R. Kelly cried his eyes out during an explosive interview with Gayle King which will air on CBS This Morning on Wednesday, March 6. The troubled singer sat down for his first interview since his arrest for aggravated sexual abuse of three minors.

Kelly told King that he couldn't speak on the specifics of his current charges, but he stated, "I will tell you this: people are going back to my past, that's exactly what they doing, they going back to the past and they're trying to add all of this stuff now to that. To make all of this stuff that's going on now feels real to people."

When King insisted that his past is relevant to his current charges with underage girls, he said emphatically, "Absolutely no, it's not. Because, for one, I beat my case."

Kelly added that the new charges violated his rights from being tried again on the same charges.

"When you beat your case, you beat your case. They can't double jeopardy me like that."

Kelly became agitated again when King pressed him to explain why multiple women accused him of doing unspeakable things to them sexually when they were underage.

"Not true!" he yelled. "Old rumors, new rumors, future rumors, not true!"

"How stupid would it be for R. Kelly - with all I've been through in my way way past, to hold somebody... let alone 4, 5, 6, 50, you said... how stupid would I be to do that! That's stupid, guys!"

Then he looked directly into the camera and addressed the viewer at home: "That's stupid! Use your common sense. Forget the blogs, forget how you feel about me. Hate me if you want to, love me if you want, but just use your common sense!

R. Kelly was charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, according to the Chicago Tribune. The singer/songwriter, whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, was charged in Cook County, Illinois on Friday. The news comes a month after the 52-year-old singer was accused of sexual misconduct by several adult women in the Lifetime documentary Surviving R. Kelly. The women were all consenting adults at the time the abuse was alleged to have occurred.

Two more R. Kelly accusers came forward this week. Rochelle Washington, left, and Latresa Scaff, right, joined their attorney Gloria Allred at a press conference in New York City on Thursday, Feb. 21.During the news conference, Allred displayed photos that the women claimed were taken on the night they met Kelly when they were both minors.Last week, Stormy Daniels' lawyer Michael Avenatti turned over a VHS videotape that shows the singer allegedly performing sex acts with an underage girl.

The trailer for the upcoming documentary, Leaving Neverland, shows the story of two men who claim Michael Jackson sexually abused them as children. The two-part film tells the stories of James Safechuck and Wade Robson, who claim Jackson molested them and swore them to secrecy. The first episode will air on HBO on March 3rd.

“The days were filled with magical, childhood adventure experiences,” Robson says. “[It was] playing tag, watching movies, eating junk food, anything you could ever want as a child.”

“It’s like hanging out with a friend that’s more your age,” says Safechuck.

The accusers’ mothers says that Jackson seemed to be into “kid things” and that he was a “loving, caring kind soul” alongside footage of Jackson wishing Robson a happy birthday in a personal video (“I love you,” Jackson says). The men later sued Jackson’s estate in 2013, but their charges were dismissed in 2017.

According to TMZ, a grand jury has been formed and Kellz’ alleged victims may have had a part in how quickly it was done. Several women who claim to be victims of R. Kelly’s sex crimes were flown out to Chicago in order to review the tape. Avanetti said that the video included footage of the singer having sex with a minor. CNN, who claimed to have seen the footage, said the singer urinates on a minor in the video.

The alleged victims include a few women who haven’t even come out publicly. They were asked to look over the tape in order to see if anything seemed familiar to them such as the location, the girl’s identity, the location and any other details that could help build the case against R. Kelly.
