ruky1: There is one thing in common with pwc people, they are calm, articulate, when trying to get their position across, they don't reply in the same volume in which the other party responded. All of them. Is there a course for this in the training school? Something like pwc101. sure thing, didn't want to start dragging issues with him, that was why I just had to tell me, Oga, make we end story, if you say kpmg is better than PWC its your opinion |

optimusmind: I beg to differ, I have interned in both firms, 8 weeks in KPMG, 10 weeks In pWc, and I have to say that the experience is exactly the same.... The only difference I can say is the pay difference which is not that significant judging from the benefits attached in KPMG. For instance, KPMG has a canteen in the firm which entitles you to a meal of N1,100 per day, deducted from your salary, this benefit is not in pWc and i remember it was usually stressful leaving landmark tower to go outside and buy food every blessed day. So if you check it
KPMG for instance pays 130k to GT While pWc pays for instance 160k to GT (this pay may not be accurate) But the pay from KPMG takes care of lunch, calculated at 1100 X 25 = 27500. See the difference is barely N2500 in term of pay. Someone leaving KPMG to pWc or it's reserve to enter the same position is a waste of time. People may leave as Senior Associate and go-to pWc to bargain for a Manager position. Anyone who leaves one of these firm to enter same position maybe just wants a change of environments or to see how things are done there. Speaking in terms of Global revenue, pWc Nigeria barely contributes a fraction of the global revenue the two firm realised, in fact, in 2016 FY, KPMG made a higher revenue than pWc Nigeria(but who this revenue help?). Please look at the transparacy report(Nigeria) of both firms for 2016 and you'd see what this is very accurate statistics. Another factor one may consider for leaving is I think on pWc there is a shorter route to making partner, Infact there's a guy a People of Change that made partner I'm 7 years, although it's a rare case. Lastly, Professional Services firms are in the Junior League, anyone seeking to be a financial guru should enter investments banks Goldman Sachs for instance. Congratulations on your success by the way. Is okay sir, know who you are for, we can drop d case here sir |

TheRealAdonye: @ Bolded, FY 16 revenue
Deloitte $36.8bn PwC $35.9bn
Gap Gap Gap
EY $29.6bn KPMG $25.42bn Exactly and I believe by the end of 2017 or latest 2018, pwc will go ahead of deloitte in terms of revenue generated, even EY better pass KPMG, make nobody mention KPMG on this thread again..... lmao |

SacrodAYAN:
mayoor ooooo, wet in KPMG do u na??
Kpmg has its own thread Just the truth, for now PWC is the best, you rarely see people cross from pwc to kpmg, if you leave pwc than you are crossing to larger and bigger oil companies with some crazy pay not moving from pwc to kpmg...... |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: PwC Nigeria Graduate Recruitment 2017 by mayoor15(m): 8:45am On Apr 06, 2017 |
optimusmind: Why is no one here considering KPMG, as if they don't exist? In the world, Africa, Nigeria, pwc is rated pass kpmg, deloitte only rates above pwc in other part of d world but not Africa, please KPMG who? who KPMG epp self? Pwc is a dream come true for anybody that aspires to do great things in life...... |

AJRACHto: well i believe the interview will be on a first name basis, not on a last name basis...just lyk it was at the verification stage. so the guys with first names starting with 'A' should start prepping for interview - my opinion buh PWC is nt smiling sha oh.. i wonder how many people are left in the recruitment process sef .lol it is very well. success guys For some of us our first and last name starts with A, so anyone they choose to use, we can't just escape it, what about that |
