True that we should learn to create jobs by pursuing our dreams but you applied for this job too na?Is it now that you realised this? And as for the negativity embedded in your posts about somebody failing at trainee school or making mistakes with anyone's medical,I surely know that God is in control and bigger than any evil thought of man.You don't need that negativity bro.Has it ever occured to you that some people even after setting up their own business won't resign/quit mainly because they are career oriented?
We apply for jobs for different reasons bro get that right, like I tell people, until you serve you don't know what it means to lead and to be served. See our problem in Africa is we let spirituality cloud our judgements and take us away from realities, everything is not negativity and everything is not about one village woman running after you, God, God, God, why didn't you sit at home and expect God to give you the job without doing test or AC, it's only a black man that expect miracles to occur, like getting rich suddenly without wanting to work for money, you create your miracles bro, let leave GOD alone, am a Christian, a strong believer in God's principles but my faith doesn't stop me from looking at things realistically.....I only gave clean cut scenarios about why some drop out of TS, there was this guy that lost out despite the fact he was one of the top 3 in his training class cos he had D7 in maths, when he had opportunities to rewrite the exam, am sure he told himself, am an art student I don't need it, my God will make a way for me etc. Am not envious of those that have done their medicals and documentation cos am even busy now and going 3 months away will be tough, all am saying is, let stop spreading false rumors, creating fear and panic around and just a piece of advice, don't see this as an end already cos the road is just starting, see if you have an average of 69.9% score in TS, no one needs to tell you what it means...

Its funny seeing people in the previous pages making a go and bickering over how those who haven't gotten invites for documentation should forget about it and look elsewhere, yeah I know some people didn't state it directly but the subtle ways lots of people ridiculed people hoping for documentation invites all in the name of "telling people the hard truth" is utterly appalling!

Well, its not surprising because the average Nigerian feels better when he/she seemingly thinks or presumes he is better than another person and hence why you can see people subtly mocking others who haven't gotten documentation invites.

I know my purpose, worth and career goals so such puerile comments have no effect on me, I only feel it for those who don't have a job doing at the moment or holding on tight to hope fully fixed on FBN whom such comments would weigh down. Don't keep hoping, but live as well.

I will say it again, there will be more invites for documentation over time, this is not guesswork or me trying to give false hope, the only issue is that some people might wait for a while more than others, quote me anywhere concerning this claim. So guys still expecting should first of all know that by God's grace you'd still get in, and according to FBN plans, admission into training school would come in batches/phases over a long period of time.

And also, if at the end of the day you still don't get a chance at working with FBN, don't be in dismay, chase 10,20,30 other jobs with the same zeal and commitment you put it for this FBN job which got you all the way to the assessment center stage and I bet you that you'd get your goal achieved soonest.

"Great minds have purposes; others have wishes. Little minds are tamed and subdued by misfortune; but great minds rise above them." ~ Washington Irving (1783-1859)
You love writing and must say thumbs up to you, you've said it all, life is a matter of choice, you choose to believe what you want to believe. Getting documentation mail doesn't make you better than those that got screened out at the screening stage without a chance to even write the test, besides this is a damn job, not my papa business, people without dreams get hired to build other people's dreams. Nigerians should learn how to concentrate their energy on identifying and pursuing their dreams not seeing jobs as the ultimate way to make it in life, 7-7 jobs don't make you rich, wealth comes when you discover your dreams, goals and passion and work on them to solve the myriad of problems around you.If I don't get first bank job now, it doesn't stop me from hiring people that got the job with all the years of experience you would have acquire from the job, the sky is just too wide for birds to fly without hindering each other. @ all the rumor and panic creators, you don't need to create fear and panic in people because you are fortunate enough to have gotten the mail, you mean the bank couldn't get up to 100 qualified candidates including contract staffs within the first 4 AC weeks that people that did theirs on last AC week got called? Why waste your energy by trying to discourage people ,why not concentrate on giving yourself enough rest and get prepared for the challenges ahead or you think say people don't fail TS or you think say the exams na one click and pass thinghuh Documentation and medicals isn't a ticket to the job, it only moved you a step closer, God forbid, what if they made mistakes with your medical results and you got screened out after you don make jest of people because they didn't get a mail, will you die there? I hope you guys stop acting like kids and act like grown up that we really are.

SportsRe: Monaco Accepts Arsenal’s £92m Offer For Thomas Lemar by mayoor15(m): 5:45am On Sep 01, 2017
Nbote:
Now u misunderstood dat. Monaco is a selling club whether u want to agree or not. Whether it affects dem or not. A selling club doesn't make dem a small club or a struggling club. It simply means players will always want to leave dem for bigger clubs. Dey are not on d same level with d likes of PSG , or Even Liverpool. They have always sold players and will still sell but wat makes dem thick is replacing d players. Arsenal sells without replacing and end up suffering for years and wen a worthy replacement eventually suffices dey sell again
And that's always a problem, focusing on the past and neglecting the present, Monaco of today sporting wise is bigger than both Arsenal and Liverpool, in the UCL alone, they've gotten better with quarter and semi finals appearance in recent years which is far better than Arsenal record in recent seasons, same with Liverpool who are qualifying for the UCL for the first time in 3years which is even via the playoff route..Arsenal have been in UCL final before same with Monaco in 2004, terming PSG as a big club is quiet unimaginable, PSG only became a force to be recognised when the Qatari money entered between 2010 and Now if I can recall then, remember the years Olympic Marseille and especially Olympic Lyon were setting all records during juninho days. Cos PSG can buy any player on the planet now, it doesn't mean domestically and foreignwise, they are bigger than a Lyon that won about 8 consecutive Ligue 1 trophies, the best they did was 4 before Monaco snatched it, if my memory serves me right. Based on recent histories, Liverpool and Arsenal are no bigger than Monaco and I see no reason Lemar will go for the two of them, you can't stop a player whose heart is set on leaving though.
SportsRe: Monaco Accepts Arsenal’s £92m Offer For Thomas Lemar by mayoor15(m): 9:13pm On Aug 31, 2017

Pogba left Juve for Man utd becos he knew what history d club had apart from d club being his childhood club and what vision and pedigree Mourinho was bringing. Other players have left bigger clubs to go to lesser clubs and vice versa. Bernardo Silva, Mendy, Bakayoko have all left. Monaco allowed Mbappe leave becos he wanted to leave which was why d deal is even a loan move to b completed next season becos PSG have already crossed d Financial fair play line. Monaco have always been a selling club but dis tym dey have d edge and have brought in replacements all round. Lemar could have left if he wanted to becos it was up to him now and not up to d club but to him. He wants to stay.
Monaco a selling club, I laugh in Greek, Monaco currently has one of the best scouting network in the world. That they sell players they buy cheap doesn't make them a selling club, a selling club that is second on their table on goal difference, if you want to know what a selling looks like goan ask arsenal, soldier go, soldier come barrack remain the same, that is what is happening in Monaco.

Becos U lots are unaware of d deal doesn't make it fake... Monaco accepted Arsenal's offer but it was up to d player to agree to d deal but why would he leave Monaco who's in d champ's league for Arsenal who isn't even competing in d Premier League.. Now it's a lose-lose for Wenger becos Sanchez would leave for Free next summer and dis Arsenal doesn't look up for d fight for d League dis season..
Lols, Liverpool were in a better position to sign him with cash plus origi but no deal has been finalised, beside Monaco just lost mbappe to PSG today prompting Jardim to tell the club hierarchy not to sell Lemar. Monaco only listened to Liverpool offers because of the cash plus player bid, Monaco are in no position to sell, they have more than enough from their transfer dealings over d past 3 seasons, the source is totally fake.....Europa league !!! Pogba left a champions league club for man United in Europa league

The call for documentation is actually based on performance at the AC.. If you guys noticed well, those doing documentation now did their AC in July after getting proper "info" from those who did theirs in June.

Anonymous source, please don't quote me as reliable source wink
Haha.... this is hilarious, you are trying to start a war you cant finish, people from both June and July were called for documentation, even people who did AC on d first day, saying it was based on performance will set a precedence for people that will check this thread in the future, you are simply telling people to hoard information than they already do, yes it was based on performance but you need to consider other factors like location and areas of need of the bank, bottom line is everyone that passed the AC will be called, besides first bank can't be that dumb to put all the brilliant ones in one batch, it simply means they will put the average ones in one batch and I tell you after two weeks, even the bank will be tired.

The only theory that appeals to me is the location we filled on the day of AC due to the short notice, it's festive period and you don't expect someone outside Lagos for instance to make it easily for Wed and Thurs documentation without much stress.

With very poor use of English like yours, I can deduce why UI or OAU rarely employs people like you. If you are denied job in either of those schools tomorrow, you 'll hit the internet to accuse the universities of being biased. Let me correct some of your gross grammatical blunders.
1. ...recruitment process is done (not don't) based on....,,
2....what's the need arguing with someone (not with arguing with someone)
3.....I wonder what (not what's ) the state of nation would be.....
4....we've always lived (not live) with it.....
5. ...Islam taught (not thought) us......,
6. ....on the altar (not alter) of........

These are just few out of the many grammatical errors in your incoherent post which also lacks proper conjunctions. You can now understand why you may not be good enough for jobs in the aforementioned schools.

smiley Cut the dude some slack please!

I'd like to congratulate everyone who has gotten documentation invitation, and to those of your who have conducted your AC and not gotten your documentation invite and are already getting a little bit worried, please don't be.

Like I said weeks ago, this whole thing would be in batches, and passing the aptitude test was the biggest feat you achieved on your way to working with First Bank, as long as you did your AC to a 50% pass level (which I know at least 75% of us did) you are assured that you would make it into First Academy, the only thing is that the waiting periods would defer between a lot of us, yours truly has not gotten his own documentation invitation yet as well and I'm happy I wasn't selected for documentation this week because I couldn't have made it due to my present engagements.

I'm so happy documentation invites have started coming out as planned, this means we are on track again and unnecessary delays have been eliminated.

Big congrats again to all my prospective FBN staff who got documentation invites, all the best guys!

For those yet to get the mail, why not wait patiently, first bank doesn't recruit annually, the last recruitment was in 2013 which lasted till April 2015 with a total of 5 training schools, February 2014, March 2014, August 2014, October 2014 and April 2015. This 2016 recruitment also will be in batches, everyone can't go in at the same time, this is only the first batch and won't be the last, while waiting, keep doing what you've been doing to play away time. Congrats to the first set of TS hopefuls, the journey is about starting, get ready.....

It's best you correct it once and for all, submit it now for correction, WAEC will give you a back up letter to show they are correcting your certificate, that should be enough for most organisations, you will only keep procrastinating and you never know when it will come back to haunt you.
