Gaybriel: you study medicine and i study food science and technology. Which is more useful to man. Can you treat your patients without food but you know that no one can live a healthy life without food. So medicine my foot! Let us not start another debate here.
Well oga since jesus is your doctor i guess he is also my daily bread (pun intended)grin

I mean no disrespect to your profession sir but please don't even try to compare the job-stress, expectations and responsibilities of a food scientist with that of a physician
Look at this arrogant sonovabitch. . .how will it make sense to you simply because you think you are a god for stitching peoples' body and injecting them.Morrafocker.
I hope you weren't expecting a reply like the above from me cos quite frankly i am way too civilised for that.

I repeat if you are a physician reading this and you live and work in Nigeria, get the hell out of that country as fast as you can. Opportunities abound outside the shores of Nigeria....the mass exodus of doctors is about to begin again.

And for everybody else, well the native doctors have been around for a long time and quite frankly they can make do with more clients grin

Gaybriel: I thought doctors are people who value human lives above money and other material things. Oh, how wrong i was! I thought the first principle in medicine is to value human lives FIRST.... I'm beginning to dislike the doctors in Nigeria... The doctors working for the FG are the most foolish for their solidarity strike...
Doctors do value human lives and of course the rule in medicine is to FIRST DO NO HARM.

You can come over to the US for your traetment since you dislike the doctors in Nigeria as long as you can pay for it. Afterall fashola has flown his father abroad for treatment. I am not just sure all the 15million inhabitants of lagos are as rich as you and the governor.

LeoMax: Horticulture (flowering) is a budgeted expense ! There was no provision for their sudden desire on the budget. Why cant they simply treat patients and go on hunger strike, thats an option!
You budget money for flowers but not for an agreement you voluntarily signed about 2ys earlier right?

And pls dont ever pray to be attended to by a hungry doctor because 'dead body must get accident' o. If no be the doctor then na the patient
Doctors are not important than the police, soldiers and every others Nigerians that do hazardous jobs to keep Nigerians safe ! If farmers were government workers,i'm sure all of us would be dead by now !
Please read this to yourself for a minute. If after that you still think what you wrote is logical...well what can i say.

All you fools adjudicating in this matter in ignorance should just shut the Bleep up.
FYI lagos state doctors are probably the worse off in the country. They are terribly overworked, underequipped and underpaid (the LASG taxes them silly and does not even pay the minimum wage for doctors) states like Ekiti and Nassarawa who have nothing pay the minimum wage for doctors.

However this does not mean that all states should pay the CONMESS, BUT the lasg signed and agreed to pay it. Now 2yrs despite numerous entreaties the govt is refusing to pay, harassing the poor doctors with the police and u expect them to keep quiet?

In addition less than 1% of the doctors stay in govenment quarters and if you think it is for free you had better go see a shrink.

N.B. If you are a doctor in Nigeria you only have yourself to blame, get the Hell out of this country. The US alone has an annual shortfall of 200,000 doctors.

OP i once dated an older lady, all what you say is true or almost all. You certainly are saved a lot of the drama that goes with dating the younger ones.
PoliticsRe: The North That Southerners Don’t Know by mayorteeny: 4:54pm On Apr 17, 2012
OP travelling is part of education and as most of us southerners do not leave our immediate geopolitical zones sadly our education is not complete. To be candid it wasnt until i began to travel the lenght and breadth of Nigeria that I began to comprehend how truly heterogenous the denizens of this country are. Kudos to the writer of the article.

OP - You are the ultimate decision maker here, if you are ready to shoulder the responsibilities of caring for a baby and being a single mom, cool.

If not having a proper VTOP is definitely an option, dont mind all these pple saying you should not. I bet you the only thing they will have for you if things start to go really awry are mere rhetorics
