Autos / Re: CCP International Shipping Now In Ibadan. by MAYSAMUEL(m): 8:41pm On Apr 21, 2015
THERE WAS NOTHING IN THE CAR, JUST AN EMPTY CAR.
Autos / Re: CCP International Shipping Now In Ibadan. by MAYSAMUEL(m): 3:04pm On Apr 18, 2015
We were at Boston last year, my hubby and i were in the country and we bot some cars, 5 in number which we gave to his company, before my hubby left the state he paid for 3, i.e the freight, and he promised to balance him for the remaining 2, he assured us that it was okay in as much as we will be paying before the car gets to Lagos. we got 4 of the cars and we did custom clearing but the last 1, he claimed could not be RORO so he had to put in a container with 2 other cars and bags and baggages. I was in the U.S and i was the 1 that paid him his balance of 2000 dollars even before the ship got to Nigeria, i was calling him from time to time between late Nov and early Dec last year to know the destination of the ship and as at then all he told me was the ship hasn't gotten to Lagos. He called me on the 20th to let me know the ship was already in Lagos and requested for custom clearing fee, we deliberated, i got in touch with my hubby and on 23rd we paid the agreed amount into his account, from 24th till 30th of Dec, i was calling everyday to know when the car will be out and he kept telling me that Custom was delaying in doing evaluation only for him to call my hubby on the 15th of Jan that the container is out and there is a demmurage of 300+ and we should pay it before he will release our car. Initially my hubby was angry and refused to pay a dime because as far as we know, it wasn't our fault, Mr Yemi claimed we didn't pay for clearing on time but after we reminded him of what he may have forgotten, he revised his statement and said it was freight cost we didn't pay on time, he was looking for every opportunity to put the blame on us. my hubby later agreed to pay him 100k out of the money and he refused, after 3months of holding on to the car, he called my hubby to pay and we scout for the money and paid into his account only to call him later and he said we should go and look for more money oo, that 100k is not enough, we begged him to return the 100k and continue to hold on to the car, he said NO, that he had spent the money and he was not going to release the car. If not for the action i took by going on the internet to post about him and his company, he wouldn't have called on Thurs to release our car to us. In what way did we go wrong?

Do business with this company at your own risk, The owner of the company Adeyemi Adegboyega in alliance with his clearing agent 'Mr fatai' in Nigeria are scammers, and all they know how to do is dupe unsuspecting customers by claiming that your consignment entered demurrage and force you to pay unreasonable amount of money and if you fail to do his bidding, then your consignment is gone. Yemi is a thief though he claims to be a christian but he is nothing near what he claims.
Investment / Access Bank Nig Plc, A Bank Or A Den Of Rogues? by MAYSAMUEL(m): 6:29pm On Oct 26, 2014
I left Nigeria for US on Sept 11 and all this while I had no problem using the visa card issued by the bank both in withdrawing and purchasing till on the 30th of Sept when I couldn't withdraw or do any other thing. I placed a call to access bank customer service on October 1st to know what the problem was, and after all the questions and answers section, the lady who spoke to me requested for my information and location and I told her, the next thing I noticed was that I stopped receiving the usual email alerts only to be bombarded 3days later with transactions I know nothing about amounting to 4000$. I have called the bank, they sent me a form, I filled, sent back to them and they said it will take between 70/120days to carry out their investigation but to my surprise they sent me a mail on Friday and even called me to tell me that they have DECLINED my request, Access bank is trying to sweep this case under the carpet and telling me to do my worst, they are not interested in investigating to know who actually spent my money or who gave out my information, I am very certain it's the bank official I spoke with, I was in Boston and a duplicate card was being used to purchase and collect western union in Texas. Nairalanders please come to my rescue because sincerely I don't know what to do next.

She maybe the reason for all the goods things am enjoying and maybe she is not, but 1 thing i know is that ever since she came into my house, everything has change for the better, I want to encourage us all to be nice, not only to people who God has place in our care but to everybody, you may not know when you will entertain the angel that will bring your good tidings.

Health / A Female Doctor Commits Suicide After Testing Positive To Hiv by MAYSAMUEL(m): 12:31pm On Jul 25, 2011
A female doctor attached to a private hospital in Eket local government area of Akwa Ibom State has decided to take her life by commiting suicide after she was diagnosed to be HIV positive.
It was a thing of surprise for residents of the town when they were confronted with the gory sight of the body of unmarried lady whose name was given as Annastasia Ekanem dangling from her bedroom.
A source said that the very pretty lady was to be married to a young man from Rivers State in a few months time but that the husband to be had insisted on the two of them having an HIV test and unfortunately, Dr.Ann, as she was fondly called, tested positive to the dreaded disease and instead of battling it like the medical doctor she is, she decided to end it as she could not stand the shame and the stigma.
It was also gathered that she left a suicide note asking her family to forgive her for the action she had to take. My advice goes out to us all, please insist on HIV test before marriage oo.

Nairaland / General / Abandoned Boy by MAYSAMUEL(m): 11:21pm On Aug 27, 2009
I happen to be in Akwa Ibom right, Oron to be precise and there is a boy between 5/7 yrs abandoned in the village. He claimed to have been brought here by his mother who gave him bread and ask him to wait for her since more than 2 months ago. This little boy is suffering so much and he sleeps in the crayfish market very close to the jetty. the people around claimed he is a wizard that was why they came to drop him to die there and the villagers are very hostile to him and anybody who tries to feed him. I got to know that its a common practice amongs the people here, no matter how young or old a person is, they drive the person out if assumed to be a witch/wizard. I dont know what to do for the boy except buy him food occasionally when the villagers are not watching. I even heard they prosecuted a pastor who always come to the aid of people like this boy, so the man stopped helping. I have tried reaching some child Right Organizations here in Nigeria but yet to recieve any reply. Please if you know anyone in a position to help this boy pls don't hesitate to let me know.

How much do they sell new LG microwave that you are calling a used one 30 something thousand naira, even a tokunbo carina E 1996 model is not up to a million not to talk of a Nigerian used. I had a bro in law who won American visa lottery last year and this was how he was inflating the prices of his properties until the time to travel became so near that he ended up giving most of this properties out without collecting kobo, so bro make your case no come be like that, you better talk correct price.

Politics / LAWMA Officials Should Be Appreciated by MAYSAMUEL(m): 4:41pm On Sep 04, 2008
On my way to work this morning, a truck belonging to the Lagos State Waste Management Authority was directly in front of my car and i saw inside the truck young and amiable men who work day and night to make our state a pride to all, but what really baffles me is when a friend said they are paid little or nothing for all this effort, the take home don't even take them home.

Is so unfortunate that those we ought to appreciate are those we neglect. I as a person can not do that job but i appreciate and will do all in my power to encourage any body who takes aside shame and do the job

Nairalanders please when next you see LAWMA officials on the high ways on even on the streets, please try to encourage them with a smile if that is all you can afford, and if you see them stranded most especially on the 3rd Mainland bridge please help them to the next bus stop if you have a car, i do that often and i know they don't stink.

getting rid of consulting firms
aw can we get rid of all this job consulting firms?
they are suckers, i even learnt some bargain with prospective job seekers on how to share the salary if opportune to get employment thru them, this is alarming.
where do we go from here? this country is getting worse day in day out.
I will like this blog to post articles destroying the images of this firms to their customers i.e big governmental and non governmental  organisations. They should conduct test and interviews internally as the case was before now and put thieves like estherbrkthru, primsav and co, out of businesses.
