I ve checked her I-94 form online and it shows she's been admitted for 6 months. So I'm cool on that now. As for the transcript, I will consult her for more info as I didn't travel with her. But I understand the CPB guys were pretty friendly OmoBendel24: |

Hi everyone, my wife just got into Dallas yesterday for childbirth. After some questions and inspection by immigration and customs she was allowed in but her passport was not stamped. What could that mean. Anything to worry about? |

Hi everyone, I need some experience from people who have given birth in the US already. For those that didn't go with their mothers, please how how do you normally cope especially within the first few days after childbirth? Are there things you travel with( like some local stuff that our mothers would have normally administered on us). I have family over there that will likely help but I just want to know if there are extra steps to be taken, especially for a first-time mom. Thank you. 2 Likes |

Please for someone who already has a visa but wants her mom, who doesn't have a visa to accompany her, what's the procedure. Will her mother go for the interview alone or does she need to go with her? |

Hello everyone, Please I'm new here, though i have followed this thread for some time now. My wife is pregnant and its our first child. I have done quite a bit of research about having a baby in the US, of which this thread has been of some help. I do have a number of relatives in the States but my preferred city of choice is Raleigh, NC. However, i seem to be having some problem finding hospitals within that area. I have only seen three hospitals and they all seem to be very big and expensive hospitals; Duke university Hospital, Wakemed and UNC Rex. Please before i give up i don't know if anyone has any information that might help me with regards to finding a cheaper hospital or even getting a cheaper service at the aforementioned hospitals. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. |
