Ibrahim1985: What is this one saying, Lagos State governor are demolishing house prone to flooding and other areas that are not by approved government regardless of tribes. No one is picking a certain tribe and saying let bulldozer this Ijaw man house in Lagos.
You and I know you are lying the video evidences are there for everyone to see.
ElSudani: I saw a video during the election when a Yoruba guy in one of the Igbo states had to run for his life when a mob of Igbo guys tried to attack him for no reason other than being Yoruba. Should I then use that as the experience of all Yoruba folks in Iboland?
Lol.. the truth is that, I was expecting lies from you and here you come with one already No be yorobah again? Show us the video or shut the h£ll up,
BAILMONEY: Do you know what internationally recognized terrorist means
Only an idiotic judge will call an innocent man terrorist in nigerian shambolic court.
Before the Nigerian state kidnapped Kanu in Kenya, Kanu was in UK running his day to day activities without hindrance from the UK government are you telling us that UK has been harbouring a terrorist for years?
ElSudani: You are not making sense. Yorubaland is home to millions of Nigerians from different parts of the country. You know, as some people say, human beings are like a mirror and if you smile at it, it will smile back at you. If your experience of Yoruba folks is one of tribalism, nepotism etc. Perhaps you should look at yourself. The fact that you started this thread in an indication to me personally that you are what you accuse others of.
The bolded is a lie. If really yorobah land is home to millions of Nigeria, stopping people from voting the candidate of their choice (like what we saw during the 2023 elections) wouldn't have happened.
People's properties and business areas are being demolished in yorobah land out of h@te and tribal sentiment, is it supposed to be so in a place you said is home for all?
ElSudani: Reno did not hate Igbo. In fact, he was a promoter and friend of Igbo people until ipobidients started to threaten his family because of politics. I bet he still doesn't like ipobidients as opposed to hating Igbo people in general.
The bolded is the flimsy excuse reno gave to mumu ronubatists so that they can accept him into their camp after the whole insult he gave tinibu.
OT2024: You will continue to live in bondage if you continue like this.
You think you know what bondage is all about? No! you don't.. wait for it in the coming weeks and months. You think your tribe will get away with sentencing an innocent man and rejoice over it.
Mcreloaded: I am not igbo, I dont stay in lagos and mind u I am not yoruba. Just said my piece as it relates to a hotel and a government of a state as is similar to what happened in edo state.
Am.sorry I can't answer ur questions
If you are not yorobah ( which I doubt because you behave like them), why are you quick in attacking the Abia governor? And this is something we have not seen you do whenever the Lagos governor does the same thing.
DeltaFire: NNAMDI KANU’S MISDEEDS & CRIMINALITY AGAINST IGBO NATION Straight From Naija, Facebook 27 Nov 2025
When every region in Nigeria was busy building a new nation, the East was battling an existential crisis.
From 1967 to 1970, no other region felt the full weight of the war.
Only Igbo people. Only our homeland witnessed starvation used deliberately as a weap0n.
And when the war ended, even Ojukwu expressed regret and urged Ndi Igbo to begin the long road of reintegration, political participation, and rebuilding. Yet many clung tightly to the victimhood and unresolved pain of that era. That is where the trau*ma bond began.
Most families did not tell their children the truth about the w ar. Survivors were too busy rebuilding. There was no time for communal healing or emotional processing.
In just three years, Ndi Igbo lost generational wealth, land, institutions, businesses, careers, and stability. They had to rebuild from nothing. And because the pain was never acknowledged, the wound remained open and waiting to be exploited.
Decade after decade, whenever it was finally time for Ndi Igbo to consolidate political power and strengthen regional institutions, a new charlatan without aka oru , with no legacy, no governance experience, nothing to show for themselves , would rise and weap0nize Biafra for personal gain.
They knew one thing: invoke “marginalization,” trig*ger the old scar, resurrect the w ar trau ma, and drag Ndi Igbo back into 1967 psychologically.
Then came Kanu, the most charismatic and explosive of the agitators before Ekpa.
KANU: THE ACCIDENTAL NATIONAL STAR
Kanu had been making noise on Radio Biafra for years, but it was his first arrest in 2015 that thrust him into national and international fame. Suddenly, a man who had been fringe became the face of Igbo agitati0n. Protests erupted. Diaspora groups mobilized. And, for the first time in decades, Igbo leaders , governors, senators, traditional rulers , publicly advocated for an agitator’s bail. They thought they could use that to score political points at home and political negotiation points at the center.
That singular moment inflated his ego and convinced him that he had divine authority.
After his release on bail, Kanu began craving that attention and national fame. He realized how easily he could command crowds and undermine established leadership.
When the courts tightened his bail restrictions, Kanu chose not to comply. Instead he instigated a scuffle, and he escaped, resurfacing abroad as a fugitive , and used his fugitive status to intensify his rhetoric.
FROM SECESSIONIST TO WARLORD
Rather than tempering his actions while on the run, Kanu escalated dramatically. His mission was no longer self-determination through political means, dialogue, or referendum. It wasn’t even secessi0n in the practical sense; he realized early on that secessi0n was impossible.
His new mandate was darker: Balkanize the region. Make it ungovernable. Create enough chaos that politicians would have to negotiate with him , even to hold elections.
He understood that Nigeria was fighting Boko Haram and bandits on multiple fronts. He believed Nigeria could not survive another conflict. So he shifted from activism to armed struggle.
FORMING ESN: WEAP0NS OF OUR MA SS DESTRUCTI0N
While on the run, Kanu formed the Eastern Security Network (ESN).
On paper, it was “self-defense.” In reality, it became the weapon of mass destruction that terr0rized Ala Igbo. He equipped them, radicalized them, and gave them ideol0gical permission to k*ill, anyone. He convinced them that the enemy was everywhere and he controlled them through terr0r, charisma, and abs0lutism. He called it command and control( auto pilot).
SIT-AT-HOME AND THE CvLT OF FEAR
Then he issued the first sit-at-home, backed by threats that anyone who dis0beyed would be ki*lled. His followers acted on that thre*at without hesitation. People were murdered on their way to work. Cars were burned. Markets were emptied. The East was held hostage — not by Nigeria, but by an Igbo man in exile. The sit-at-home started under the guise of boycotting elections first, then to Biafra Rememberance day and this set the tone and blueprint for subsequent sit-at-homes ordered by IPOB.
When Kanu said, “If I give an order in the South East, who is that person that will dare disobey?” He meant everyone: — his followers, — the ordinary masses, — business owners, — elders, — traditional rulers, — even the politicians.
And he wasn’t wrong. Theory had become reality. Fear had become law.
A REGION WITHOUT LEADERSHIP
Just so we are clear, Igbo leaders lost their mantle long before Kanu arrived. For decades, the political class eroded trust with c0rruption, selfishness, weak advocacy, and zero vision. Nature abh0rs a vacuum. Kanu saw that distrust and weap0nized it. That is why even politicians and public figures who now defend him could not speak up when it mattered.
Their own communities didn’t respect them anymore.
Kanu shattered what little political order remained, polarized families, and positioned himself as the only true “voice of the Igbo.”
By the time he was re-arrested and brought back to Nigeria, his movement had already fractured. Into many offshoot, factions, departments. They operated on the mandate of his auto-pilot : obey the last command.
His own miscalculations and internal conflicts within IPOB weakened him. The once untouchable figure soon became a prisoner , literally and symbolically.
His trial, the charges, the judgment , all of it slowed the machinery of IPOB, but it didn’t kill the ideology. A new vacuum emerged, even more dangerous than before.
AND INTO THAT VACUUM OF ABSENCE WALKED SIMON EKPA.
Ekpa studied the playbook, the psychology, the fundraising, the trauma, the fear , and took everything Kanu did to a darker level. Kanu himself publicly approved him and urged his followers to follow him. Kanu terr0rized the East with his public orders for his boys to invade prisons, k*ill military and police , and innocent Igbo people , Ekpa added his own flair and industrialized the terr0r. Kanu operated from the same place of delusion mixed with charisma.
They both operated from cold calculation and profit.
Ekpa like Kanu realized one thing, Poor people at home cannot finance a revolution, a revolution in their pockets that is... But a frigh*tened diaspora Igbo can.
All Ekpa had to do was keep the blueprint set by Kanu: — weap0nize trau*ma, — weap0nize marginalization, — weap0nize fear, — weap0nize nostalgia, — weap0nize vi0lence, and present himself as the “true successor” of Kanu’s struggle.
IPOB unleashed the deadliest version of their sit-at-home , the one was every Monday, the one that destr0yed businesses, education, transportation, and economic life in Ala Igbo. They sent orders from the radio broadcasts and social media and the East bled.
Not even Bok0 Haram had ever shut down the entire North. Bandits could never shut down the entire Northwest. But men living comfortably outside of Nigeria shut down the entire Southeast every Monday for years.
This is the evolution of our exploitation , from Uwazurike 's MASSOB, to Kanu 's IPOB/ESN, and finally to Ekpa’s own terr0r franchise. The same trau*ma. The same manipulati0n. The same cycle. But each generation worse than the last.
And at the root of it all is the wound we never addressed , the wound from 1967 that our forebearers never healed, the wound that keeps being reopened by opportunists.
How long must Ndi Igbo continue suffering for Biafra!?
You’re trying to mix Demolitions of illegal properties, which is not peculiar to one tribe, with this politics of bitterness being played by Otti..
This was the same act you guys did prior to 2023 elections... anyone wanting to vote Apc, nah so so beat una beat them..
We’re not surprised at all.... Otti should be ready to destroyed more properties cuz more people will still join Apc..
Yours is demolition of illegal properties while ours is politics of bitterness played by Otti (according to your words). Funny enough it never occurred to you that, the demolished building may also be illegal building. You think say na only Lagos get what you call "illegal building"? Do you really think you are dealing with dunces that can't keep records?
attackgat: The annual Ojukwu Memorial lecture was graced by former Biafran Soldiers who came to pay their respects to their late commander in Chief, Dim Chukwuemeka Ojukwu
These are men who fought the three year battle against Nigerian forces. All the men are now retired and are in their 70's or 80's.
These are real men with Igbo blood. "My mama say I be Igbo" no dey among these men
Mcreloaded: Alex Otti should go and ask Obaseki how market concerning the hotel he demolished benin city Edo state. All these unnecessary waste of government funds is not right. At the end the same government might be directed to pay heavily for the hotel and other punitive measures added to it. It is the tax payers money that will be used to settle the whole wahalah. Why not follow due process when it comes to demolition of properties. Investors will be scared to invest in that state
If you say Alex should ask obeseki about demolition of property, who should sanwolu ask about demolition of Igbo properties in Lagos?
Secondly, if you believe that the demolition of a building will chase investors away from investing in Abia, how many investors left Lagos because hundreds of Igbo buildings are being demolished by sanwolu?
seunmsg: Well, it’s not Lagos so we are not interested. This can only be an issue when it happens in Lagos or an APC state and we can fund a way to blame it on Tinubu and Yoruba people.
Igbo properties are being demolished in lagos and you lots are always happy over it. Make una take this this one in good faith.
Saturnalia: If you check all those that are pained to the marrow, and complaining bitterly about Reno’s ambassadorial appointment, you will discover that they are all iPOB apologists and the silent enemies of Nigeria.
These are the people who have been insulting & mocking Tinubu right from the beginning, and these shameless hypocrites are always quick to point Tinubu in their warped & so-called “right direction” which is nothing more than a ploy to mock their perceived Adversaries like Reno.
What is your business with whom Tinubu chooses to appoint in any capacity? Have you all not been calling this same Tinubu a drug baron and mandate robber?
Una go cry blood tire.
One thing is certain. 2027 is just around the corner. Tinubu will be re-elected for his second term in office or Nigeria will go the way of Sudan and Ethiopia.
Either way, na una go still lose las las.
So Inehibe an akwaibom born lawyer is now an IPOB member?
There's something fundamentally wrong with the pineal gland of ronu/agbadorians. Nothing anybody wan tell me wey go make me believe otherwise.
NgeneUkwenu: Reno Omkri is a national asset. Nigeria belongs to all of us. This is a man who single handed buried Peter Obi's ill fated political dream...He deserves more than an ambassadorial post...
Honestly, there is something fundamentally wrong with ronus/agbadorians and their reasoning.
So reno's qualifications for becoming your country's ambassador is fighting Obi on twitter?
Nairalanders should help me in asking him this question.
Everything to you guys is politics. Don't you have a life out of politics. If it's not Tinubu, it's Yoruba, is this how you are going to spend the rest of your life thinking one Yoruba man is behind your misfortune,
Am talking about the tribe that sentenced KANU and merry over the injustice. And you are here talking about politics. No be una dey always bring politics into everything?
Omooba77: Residents said the attack happened suddenly, leaving the community in fear and confusion.
Terrorists have reportedly abducted a traditional ruler, Oba Bayagan, in the Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, triggering fresh concerns over the worsening insecurity plaguing communities across the state.
SaharaReporters learnt that the monarch was kidnapped on Saturday, although details surrounding the incident remain sketchy as of the time of filing this report.
Residents said the attack happened suddenly, leaving the community in fear and confusion.
Kwara State has battled a disturbing rise in violent crimes in recent years, with rural communities increasingly targeted by armed groups.
Just two weeks ago, terrorists invaded a church in Eruku, Ekiti LGA, abducting worshippers during a service. The victims were later rescued after security intervention.
Days later, another armed gang stormed Isapa community, also in the Ekiti axis, kidnapping at least 11 residents, including women and youth.
The latest abduction of Oba Bayagan has heightened tension across Ifelodun and neighbouring LGAs.
SaharaReporters previously reported that two residents of Manba Village in the Patigi Local Government Area of Kwara State have been abducted after terrorists stormed the community through the Rogun axis late Friday night.
A community source told SaharaReporters that the attackers invaded the village at about 11pm, shooting sporadically as residents fled for safety.
“The gunmen came through Rogun and headed straight into Manba. They operated freely and took two people away,” the source said, adding that fear has gripped surrounding villages.
Former Labour Party vice-presidential candidate Datti Baba-Ahmed has claimed that he nearly halted the swearing-in of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
He stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has not recovered from a few comments he made.
Speaking, Baba-Ahmed lamented that his warning to Nigerians was ignored.
He urged citizens not to wait for foreign powers, especially the United States, to rescue the country.
He said, “I nearly stopped the swearing-in of this government. Up till today, some elements are blaming me. Ever since a few comments I made, the APC has not recovered.
“We were telling the people repeatedly, and they wouldn’t listen. That is why we are paying a very high price.
Noneroone: In the "what's trending" segment of the "morning show" on 27 November, Arise news aired a story where they claimed that two Reverend fathers, Rev fr John Igwebueze and Rev fr Matthew Eya were murdered by IPOB/ESN elements. They used this story to highlight what they called selective outrage over killings Nigeria.
However, the Catholic diocese of Nsukka issued a disclaimer against the station's misleading narrative.
The Channel in it's 28 November edition of the program appeared to correct themselves but failed to take responsibility. Instead, blaming the DSS for the information.
Ruben Abati of Arise tv and Seun of Channels tv are all yorobah men. That should tell sane Nigerians all they need to know before digesting their news.
Incognito403: You mean captured and eating beans in Sokoto?
Yorobahs sent him to Sokoto so that boko boys and fulani herdsmen will kpai him there. Little did they know that, that is the place they will make him president that means Kanu will be enjoying some kind of preferential treatment there.
