+++GERMANY: Updates from the Federal Foreign Office on Current Student Visa Particularities in Germany+++
If you want to receive your student visa for Germany it is currently necessary to hand in a proof during the visa procedure that the studies cannot be completed abroad. This should be submitted as a document, if necessary also in the form of an e-mail, from the respective university. In addition to the usual notification of admission, the university must now confirm that the student’s presence in Germany is required, and from when. In general, the final processing of student visa applications is now once again possible everywhere. However, the corona situation is different in many countries, so this also affects the work of some visa offices, and unfortunately, there may still be restrictions in the services offered by visa offices. Wherever possible, student visas are already being issued again (e.g. in China, where the demand is quite high). Language students can only o enter the country if they want to attend a preparatory language course for their studies and already have an admission from a German university. Participants of an “isolated” language course are unfortunately not yet allowed to enter. Furthermore, it is important that the quarantine regulations of the respective federal states are observed in parallel with the entry restrictions and their exceptions. When entering from a risk area designated by the RKI, a quarantine is generally required first.

Please I have questions which goes thus; Is it effective booking through the email directly rather than booking on the online platform? What do you suggest? Also If I choose to book through the email please through what email should I send the email requesting to be booked for? Thank you

I just got admitted into Universitat Bonn MA 'North American studies, likewise Bayreuth African Verbal Visual Arts. Still optimistic about the embassy opening up pretty soon. Lets not give into negativity soon people. It's a beautiful world out there and a door of opportunity to better our life and clans. Jah bless

Got admitted to Universitat Bonn 'North American Studies, and Bayreuth AVVA MA program. Hoping and praying the embassy opens up quick. I got suggestions to mail the embassy asking if I can book an appointment but I'm reluctant to do so because I believe they havent opened up. Do y'all suggest I book down or wait until July 1st or a bit later? Jah bless our endeavours

You should have done ur research very well before wasting those money. You should find out on these universities sites for previous German grade benchmark for admission before applying for your Msc.

I will advise you also consider going for another degree program. There's nothing wrong for one applying for another degree in Germany. Don't forget Uni-assist and those Universities with direct application will grade u in German grade based on ur first year 9ja cgpa. If you had a higher year one transcripts you should be sure of getting admission.

What's your first year cgpa in 9ja and what course is ur prefer courses?

Please I'm finding it hard for him to get course he can apply to most msc require 2.7 minimum grade and most BSc require GERMAN knowledge.

Your CGPA can still get you a Master's degree in Information Systems at the University of Munster with free tuition..

Finally, be smart and beware of scammers... You can do it yourself.. Read previous pages on this trend and ask questions whenever something is unclear to you...

Please I have similar difficulty. I graduated with a 2.33 gpa in business administration and it's been so hard for me to get an admission all because I have a 2.33 gp. Please what advice can you render regarding what to do, what school or course can accept this results as I'm sure there are people with worse results. And this can't be the end of the road for me. I've applied to over 12 public universities and they all turned me down specifically stating that my result doesn't qualify. I'm frustrated I wont lie. Please what can I do? Is there still hope for me?
