It is organized by Main Team Organisation GmbH, a Germany-based educational organization, and brings together students who qualify through earlier online rounds in Mathematics, Science, Technology and Engineering.

That said, it’s important to distinguish it from the world’s oldest and most prestigious science Olympiads:
