By and of itself, online grouping isn't wrong. People band into groups for different reasons. But I fault the premise on which most of these online groups was built. I think inferiority, and a highly corroding confidence is the root cause.

A good example could be gleaned from the Knights which was originally intended to meet certain intellectual standards in an effort to put together a conglomeration of intellects who would create simulating topics and engage in brain-teasing debates.

It unfortunately quickly morphed into a circus show, hijacked by bullies and hollowbrains who exploited its materials and used it for pranks and personal settlement of scores.


Sadly other mushroom groups have trailed same path and erstwhile buddies have blended into other groups as pranksters, idle creeps, shadow-walkers who specialise in trolling with alternates, creating online voting threads with unknown monikers to vote themselves, spunning fake female monikers to self-service on self-adulation and at the same time pretending to be nice people with their main monikers...

Other groups of serious-mindedness are present, though, but very minute.

It is hard to be serious here when the section has been hijacked by unintelligent simpletons with fake bank accounts, life and direction-less competition over nothing.
