Fraternizing with China is far better than dining with the west which has not benefitted us enough. The West continues to deny us technology and industrial transfers. Tinubu is doing well. |
You won't know that Nigeria has laws until you break one. See what frustration and ignorance has landed her. Now she is learning the hard way |
Enjoy! You are born unto wealth and in wealth shall you live. I tap from this grace of God |
Thumbs up for PBAT, the fixer |
I was also ashamed listening to the man. He is someone desperately seeking for Asiwaju's favour, as such does not care what he spews out. Shame on Morka, or is it morkite ![]() |

This is stating the obvious. ![]() |
Peter Obi is a great man. He will be a very good President. I also like President Tinubu. However he should change his governance approach and be more people oriented in all his policies. He should also detach his family from governance. Seyi should allow his father some breathing space |
Following the signing of the new terms and conditions of Service of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu has approved mouth-watering allowances for officers of General rank who will retire after serving 35 years in service Some of the Allowances include the provision of a bulletproof SUV as take-home gift, fully paid foreign medical treatment, the sun of $20,000 as estacode while embarking on the medical trip, and payments for cooks and house helps The Harmonised Terms and Conditions of Service for Officers and Enlisted Personnel in the Nigerian Armed Forces which had been in the works since the tenure of the former administration of President Muhammadu Buhari was signed by President Bola on December 14, 2024 Starting with the top brass of the military, it provides that the Chief of Defence Staff, the Chief of Army Staff, the Chief of Naval Staff, the Chief of Air Staff and other Senior officers are entitled to a bulletproof SUV or its equivalent as a retirement package. Vanguard however recalls that the practice of rewarding retired service Chiefs and retired generals and equivalents with mouth-watering benefits is not a new thing as it has been the status quo. Only difference is that the new HTACOS has reviewed the benefits upward in line with the present/prevailing socio-economic realities of the country Source:https://fprnews.com/tinubu-approves-bulletproof-suvs-medical-trip-for-retired-army-generals |

Topline Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg surpassed Oracle founder Larry Ellison to become the third-wealthiest person in the world Monday, according to Forbes’ Real-Time Billionaire List, after the title had gone back-and-forth between the two tech billionaires on Friday. Key Facts Zuckerberg’s net worth was up more than 4% to $217.7 billion after market close on Monday, while Ellison’s was down 0.3% to $209 billion. The tech executives’ net worths mirrored their companies stock movements Monday, with Zuckerberg’s Meta closing at $630.20—about a 4% increase in share price—and Ellison’s Oracle closing down 0.3% at $165.78. Zuckerberg and Ellison traded places between the third and fourth spots on Friday, Jan. 3, but Ellison ended the day on top. Elon Musk remains the wealthiest person in the world with a net worth of $425.2 billion, followed by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, whose net worth is $241 billion. Key Background As recently as November, Ellison’s net worth was more than $228 billion and he was competing with Bezos for the title of the world’s second richest person, but his net worth took a tumble in early December. It was cut by $15 billion when Oracle’s stock paced its worst loss in nearly a year after releasing an earnings report showing it fell short of its estimates. Ellison owns roughly 40% of Oracle and serves as chairman, chief technology officer and cofounder. For his part, Zuckerberg owns about 13% of Meta’s stock and serves as the company’s chief executive and chairman. A number of technology executives saw their net worths increase after Donald Trump beat Kamala Harris in November's election, with Ellison becoming $12 billion richer in the weeks after Election Day and Bezos’ net worth spiking $7 billion. Musk, who has become a key adviser to Trump, saw the largest swell of his net worth, which grew almost $21 billion in the day after the election. Surprising Fact Ellison and Zuckerberg’s net worths are both rounded out by impressive real estate portfolios. Business Insider reported last April that Zuckerberg has purchased more than 10 properties—including hundreds of acres in Hawaii and homes in Silicon Valley and Lake Tahoe—while Ellison has more than two dozen property investments, including nearly all of a Hawaiian island, a resort and multiple homes in California. Tangent Meta announced a new addition to its board of directors on Monday: UFC president and CEO Dana White. Zuckerberg announced White’s addition, along with the addition of Exor CEO John Elkann and former Microsoft team lead Charlie Songhurst, on Facebook Monday, saying he believes there are “massive opportunities ahead in AI, wearables, and the future of social media, and our board will help us achieve our vision.” Source: https://www.forbes.com/sites/mollybohannon/2025/01/06/mark-zuckerberg-overtakes-larry-ellison-as-worlds-third-wealthiest-person/ |
You are forgiven. Just ensure you rededicate the remaining part of your life to the good of the country and the well-being of all Nigerians. Nigerians have been traumatized, dehumanized and endangered under the leadership of those who have massively benefited from the system. You can now vigorously go after the oil thieves, exposing, shaming and prosecuting them |
Peakdesign23:The truth, nothing but the truth. We have rulers, not leaders. Only time will tell |
Personally I give it to OBAT. First time in decades when oil marketers were deprived from profiteering and wicked extortion and exploitation of Nigerian during exmas period. More grace and kudos to Mr. President |
Sleekfingers:Lol |
Wike has lost it. He should have quitted when the ovation was louder. But hey! greed, selfishness and undesirable quest for dominance didn't allow him. Now, he is going with the wind. May God bless SimFubara! May God bless Rivers State and Nigeria!!! |
If she hadn't come out to open the can of worms, would you have come to defend the indefensible? Pls Nigeria needs a complete retooling and Kemi's stance can help fasttrack that. We can only encourage her by standing with her on this rough road she has chosen. You should focus on the issues you have in UK instead of coming to seek relevance and validation Y-Pastor ![]() |
Happy birthday Sir. May your sins be forgiven and replaced with good health and sound mind. However, warn Jagaban not to toy with our nation. I mean every word of it. It is high time his so-called reforms took a human face. He cannot be living in affluence while the mass of Nigerians are in misery, pains and squalor |
gaskiyamagana:Of course, but morality demands that you tow my line unless you are another bigot, lol |
What 'trips' this world are nonsensicals. Imagine the kind of music this crowd gathered to listen to and even dance along. Thank God I don't have this stupid time to waste. I would rather go and sleep in the church and pray for my family and our nation. #gosh ![]() #spits :- ![]() |
If this guy head you with his oblong head, na die 😁 ![]() Anyway, no one wants to work with those who may not be fully loyal. Nice move if only it will not be another opportunity to appoint stooges, sycophants and nepotistic characters. |
I can never VOTE for APC !! No matter how they use their deceptive voodooism, it will never. Pack your loads, leave Aso rock and head to Iragbiji |
Congratulations and more of God's wonderful blessings in Jesus name |
Lol 😂😆 |
Good news but releasing him is not ruled out. They keep handling these criminals with kid gloves. This time, pls hang the idiot! |
A display to curry more financial favour from the govt. Apart from the cost of maintaining these warships, the generals also have huge avenue of continuous grabbing, and strangulating our financial throats further. Only time will tell |
Those who are benefiting from this rotten system are the ones attacking the highly successful UK politician. The establishment called police in Nigeria stinks! Bought over by polithievecians and money bags. Their loyalty is totally not for the state but for the rich individuals at the expense of our collective taxes. So Kemi is damned right. Doubt her, doubt yourself |
I have been your admirer but this ethnic route you have taken has distanced me from you and all your activities. I have no place in my heart for ethnic bigots |
