Did you see the way Ajax played in Turin yesterday? We did great last night, however, we still need to improve away from home.

Our squad this season is helping us. Having options like Coutinho, Dembouz, Malcom in the forward line, and then Vidal, Alena (and the versatile Roberto, even though he doesn't cut it for me as a midfielder) in the midfield. Not also forgetting Coutinho can be used in the midfield even if he doesn't really fit there. And also, guys like Umtiti (he's obviously gone down the pecking order), Vermaelen (even though he rarely ever gets to play) and Todibo (hasn't contributed much since he came but he's still coming up) has helped this season.


With a squad like the one we have this season, the options are endless. I really hope the board maintain this and even try to improve areas where we're short of options like the left-back position and centre-forward (obviously, a younger elite striker is needed).

yes we won away games in 2015. A goal difference (like today) away to City and 2 away to PSG, but no we didn't draw Bayern. We actually lost 3 - 2 at the Allianz but won on aggregate and went on to win the competition.

If that away loss to Bayern had knocked us out of the competition, you'd have remembered it.

To put it in perspective, we are the only team left in the UCL that have not lost a game. Also we are the only away team in the quarter finals that won this first leg.

Yes we lost the game, my bad. But I guess you get the point I'm trying to make. We played well in that game. An away game.

I think I understand this. We have become so used to Barcelona winning that just any win becomes boring. We want to totally dominate, and it's easy to think we have always demolished everyone home and away.

Remember how we lost 2 - 0 away to Milan years back? Or 3 - 0 away to Juve 2 years ago? Or 4 - 0 away to PSG? Those weren't under conservative coaches.

Madrid didn't win their UCL titles by beating everyone with a two-goal margin. Many times they were shitty and just managed to scale through with the odd goal, sometimes a lucky dying minute penalty or an offside not caught. Today, no one remembers all that. Sometimes just know how to win ugly or boring.

However you might want to put it, Barca need to improve in their away games if they want to win the competition. If we played a team with unforgiving forwards, it would have been a different outcome trust me. Remember that we did not score. We're just fortunate to win the game tonight.

I feel like it's time I stopped watching Barca knockout games away from home in the UCL cuz they only put in a good shift at the Camp Nou.


Sometimes I wonder how we did it back in 2014/15 when we beat City home and away in the round of 16, PSG home and away in the quarterfinals and then we put in a really good shift in the 2nd leg against Bayern to lose 3-2 at the Allianz Arena after beating them 3-0 at the Camp Nou in the first leg.

Guys be sensible. It could easily have been 2 or 3. Suarez missed a good chance and Roberto messed up 2 good buildups by being hesitant.

Game plan was spot on to me. Deny United possession, do not leave room to be exposed on the counter... do not chase a game that doesn't need to be chased is what I say!

If we scored I'd have agreed with you but we didn't. It was an own goal. If we were leading by a two-goal margin I'd have agreed with you but we weren't. This was a _shit-show and it's going to be our undoing in this competition.

The only bug I've noticed do far is That Gboard keeps typing nonsense sometimes, I'll switch to grammarly keyboard...

I absolutely hate it. The fonts is annoying. The drop-down menu even with the blue colour is not finer than the drop-down menu in Oreo. The home button and back button doesn't look any better than before. Split-screen is gone. Looking at the home screen, they shifted the time from the right to the left

The clock that's meant to be big and bold in the middle of the home screen disappeared.

The entire UI is just annoying.
It's high time Android or Google give us an option of returning to a previous version if we're not satisfied with an upgrade or they give us a thorough preview (video) of what the new version and UI would be like.

I don't want to be looking at my phone and feeling depressed. The one that's paining me is that I don't know how long before another upgrade comes and if it will address these concerns

Yeah the procedure is plenty.
You have too root the phone, install custom recovery and then download and install a custom ROM using custom recovery. And the procedure is very tedious.

Are you experiencing battery drain after your upgrade?

Not so much. Just a little. I guess we'll just have to wait for a new and better update.

Btw, this pie has been released by Google since August 2018. I wonder why we're just getting it. Seems it'll take a long time before we get the next update, after Google releases it.

What phone model do you use?

Nokia 3.1.

I've read online that downgrading can be done but the procedures are just too much.

Pie is overrated,... Google is trying hard to limit third party apps on Android with every update. Third party Call recording, Keyboard apps non-functional.

since away goal rule came in, the most important matches in UCL are away matches, not home matches. Liverpool, Ajax, Man utd and Porto all qualified because of how their excellent performances away, not home matches but away. Away matches are "importanter"
