Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri, opened up to Hitz Ontv in a recent interview on why she blasted Caroline Danjuma.

Few weeks back, Caroline Dajuma blasted Cynthia Morgan over the dancehall act’s promo photo. And Ruth told the actress and stylist to shut up.

Ruth said the reason why she backed Morgan was because she understood the concept behind the promo photo.

According to the actress,

“As a filmmaker, I understood the fact that she was trying to tell a story and when someone else tries to bring someone else’s act down, so he or she can feel good about his/her self, i’m not just going to sit there and be quiet. Even if it wasn’t Cynthia and it was someone else and I felt that this person….. we are all entertainers. If I get a man of God, for instances criticizing her work, I would understand because in my mind, I would feel like this person doesn’t really have an idea or understand how things work down here.

This person needs to be explained too. But if you have someone who is in the entertainment industry, who does one or two things entertainment wise, criticizing someone else’s work openly, in a manner that brings the other person’s work down, c’mon it didn’t sit well with me and I didn’t go beyond airing my opinion once. That’s it.”

Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, whose assets were stolen form her boutique told Saturday Beats in a recent interview that she doesn’t know how her phones were stolen.

Mercy who released the photos of the thief last week said, “I normally would not want to dwell on the matter because I cannot regain what they stole from me but I want people to learn from what happened to me. I was doing some repairs in my shop and I asked one of the workers who fixed the aluminum to help me get an electrician because I did not know any. He agreed and shortly after, someone claiming to be an electrician arrived. I showed him where to work and I left the shop for about 20 minutes.”

Speaking further, the actress said, “I don’t know how the guy broke into my office but he stole my two phones, a blackberry passport and iPhone 6plus. I thank God he did not cart away my money. He ran away immediately he took my phones and before we knew what was happening, he had disappeared. The aluminum guy claimed that was not the electrician he sent to me and till date, I have not seen the guy. Investigation is still ongoing but I am devastated because of all the contacts I have lost. Unfortunately, I did not back up my contacts,”

Chocolate City rapper, Jesse Jagz has gifted his manager, Alahirah Dandonald, a BMW.

The manager, having left Jesse in 2008 to further his studies abroad, only just returned to being Jago’s manager in 2015. He was gifted a 2005 BMW for his troubles.

Speaking to THE NET, Dandonald revealed, “I was offered the job to be Jesse’s manager again in March 2015 and i gladly accepted”

“I really feel very happy, motivated and appreciated” he said about the gift.

Chocolate city rapper, Jesse Jagz told WG in a recent interview that he doesn’t think any American artistes have anything to offer him.

Jagz said the only international act he would like to work with is Angelique Kidjo.

In his words, “I have gone through the profile of American artistes and I do not think any of them have something to offer to me.”

Jesse said he’s not a very good rapper and he’s still learning from other rappers in the game.

According to Jagz, “I don’t think there is anyone to compete with, because I don’t see myself as a very good rapper. I would probably like to stay at a place with a lot of rappers and listen to them rap so as to learn from their craft.”

When asked why he initially dumped Chocolate City, “I left because I recorded one of my tracks at that time and I played it for the record label. But the management of the label I guessed did not want to promote the songs for business reasons. I just decided to forge ahead and put the song out there by myself. That was why I walked out of the label.” and surely he spoke about how he feels to be back to the label by saying, I feel happy returning to Chocolate City. MI has always been our president right from time and we have always worked like one big family.

“I am a shareholder in Chocolate City even while I was not around. So to me, the label is like a family thing. I am always going to be Jesse Jagz of Chocolate City regardless of where I will be tomorrow,” the rapper said.

Flavour opened up to My Joy Online in a recent interview on why marriage is not on his mind.

Flavour said he’s not ready for marriage because he’s too busy to settle down with a woman.

Nollywood actress and advocate against rape, Foluke Daramola, has attributed the persistent unsavory act to men lacking self-control.

The actress who has claimed to be a victim of the unsavory act, was speaking with Playground TV on the motivation of offenders, “There are high rape cases in the country because men lack self-control and are motivated by what they see” she said.

“It is not about indecent dressing. If you see the trend of things now, you will see that the rape victims are more of the pedophiles (men who sexually abuse children). You can’t tell me that have to do with their mode of dressing. What about the society that go n9de? We still find out that their men still control themselves, so to a large extent that cannot be attributed to their mode of dressing” she further expressed.

Foluke who recently launched a foundation called ‘Passion Against Rape in Africa’ (PARA), expatiated on her thoughts further,

“Most of the times you find out that a lot of men dwell on the indecent dressing to hide their weaknesses under it. If you look at the trend of rape in Africa and Nigeria precisely now, it does not have anything to do with the young ladies because you find out that most adults that are teenagers that have been raped, most of them have one or two things that have consented to it so most times they don’t even go to report. But the cases that we have that are predominant in Nigeria now are mostly pedophiles which a lot of people are not taking cognizance of.”

“The perpetrator of the act already has a pre-planned mind and most of the time the act is carried out at night. Why do they do that at night is because they know that if they grab the woman in daylight, they will be dealt with. So it is a process that has already been planned in the brain and you know that this is the direction that you want to go.” she quipped.

Foluke recently denied pregnancy claims contrary to reports.
