Family / Re: A Lot Of Marriages Now Crashing Within 3 Months by Mchayy(m): 8:03pm On Nov 05, 2022
Johnnyposh:
Plz I need advice from matured people here:
Am 25 and my girlfriend is 24,I met my girlfriend around late 2020 like October,we loved ourselves so much but am a kind of guy that don’t trust ladies and I don’t like relationships but I fell in love with her and we started dating, around February 2021 she got pregnant for me but am not sure am the owner of the pregnancy but the love I have for her overwhelmed me,she said am the owner of the pregnancy cos she don’t date or meet any other guy since we started dating, and I accepted the pregnancy as my own,her parent get to k know about her pregnancy after 3 months and she was asked to bring the guy that got her pregnant,I went to thier house for the first time with my mom to introduce myself as the owner of the pregnancy and her parent was kindda disappointed because they taught the person that impregnated thier daughter is a standard guy and am just a hustler that lives in a one room, her parents insisted that before we can come to take her away and take care of the pregnancy,we have to do an introduction before they release her,and I am a very broke ass nigga, like my phone engineer work is not functioning well,am just managing but I do some online Fraud hustle to survive,we told her parents that we should take her soon to care for the pregnancy first so after that,we can do whatever they want, but the mother refuse to leave her, after two months,I hustled up to get some money and I agree to do the introduction,by then the pregnancy is about 5 months,I called her mom that am ready to do the introduction and we fixed date for the introduction, then two weeks to the introduction the mother called me again that after the introduction I have to go to the registery to get married to her legally,I was so depressed and devastated,I regret impregnating her,I cursed myself that I wasn’t serious with my life and it ended up with suffering for me,I declined that I can’t go to the registry,I inform my mom and she declined too,but after another week I don’t know what happened to me,I then agree to do the introduction and the registry too,cos the woman refuse to release her to us and she is the first child in thier family, we did the introduction and got married in October
2021 and welcome a baby girl in November, I hustled up again and I secure a room and parlour self contain around may 2022 and I furnished it to my taste,I tried all my possible best to make sure that we are doing much better than before but still my phone engineering work is not bringing food to the table untill now and I don’t believe in this my online yahoo fraud activity to provide for the family, each time that I remember that I was forced to get married to her and I don’t have a good work that is bringing food to the table just this online fraud ,am always depressed and not happy.
And after my wife gave birth in November 2021,we use to have issue about her exes calling her and we use to fight about it and I feel like ending the marriage,I’ve reported her to her parents about her exes and I don’t want her to have anything to do with other men,but she has changed a little better now but it’s hard for me to trust her too.
Please am just a 25 years old guy and am so depressed and need help on what to do,my life is shattered with depression and I don’t see a good future for myself or the marriage, help me please,I have made a great mistake of my lifetime, please help me people,I need a good advice on what to do thanks

You now have a kid, congrats. It’s not a bad thing at all having a child of your own (emphasis on “your own”).

The mistake you made was allowing her parent to force you to run the marriage thing. But nevertheless you have to fight through. You should expand your network, you could try to apply to stores or companies selling phones and work in their phone repair department or even negotiate with a company to have a phone repair department and you will be their main engineer.

Remember, you need to give your child the best care as a father.

The fraud work won’t pay you on the long run. Hustle legally.

And if you don’t mind, follow and read this thread religiously it will give you a better mind frame on how you will develop yourself as a man.

Ask someone living in the Uk to help you place the call. I did that and I was told a decision has been made on my application, and I should wait till i receive a mail from TLS to pick up. I asked when exactly I should be expecting the mail, but the person said they do not have an idea.. so we wait!

Someone mentioned that the delay in processing application is being caused by the Afganistan refugee resettlement, dont know if its true.

Please when did you apply or submit your biometrics?

Celebrities / I’m Still Waiting For The Right Man- Waje by Mchayy(m): 10:18am On Dec 06, 2015
Waje told Punch in a recent interview that she’s still waiting for the right man to marry.

The single mother said, “I don’t think there is any woman who is not looking for a good man to marry or call her own. My definition of a good man may not be the same as yours. Either way I am waiting for the right man. When the wedding bell tolls for me, it will not be a secret.”

On her fitness, she said, “I am still working on my weight but I am keen on adopting a healthy lifestyle. As you grow older, the emphasis is on living well and making healthy choices. I am fortunate to have met people who look younger than their age because they made a conscious effort to stay young-looking. I eat right and stay away from fizzy drinks. I want a healthy lifestyle that I can sustain.”

According to the actress, “Stardom has taken a lot from me. It has taken my swag because these days, I am like a business woman. Before I used to have time for everything but now, I set priorities. For instance I cannot wake up and go see a movie, I would rather go see my editors and see what they are doing in the studio. It is either I am writing or I try to buy scripts. I realize you cannot do everything by yourself and you need a dedicated team to be around you. I do not go out at all. You will not find me just anywhere, I am always at home.”

Career / Re: I Work With A Dead Man's Certificate: I Need Help..please HELP A Nlder by Mchayy(m): 2:01pm On Nov 19, 2015
OP, what you did is not that bad.

1. Are you the one who killed the guy? If no, then no problem. If yes and you refused to open up on that, na die be your case.

2. Lets say you didn't kill the guy, you're using his result, then no f.acking problem. Why? you're paying it forward to his family and even if you later confess to his family with all what you're doing for them , they will have your back! Taking care of their kids and all that no be beans.

If at all the guy is alive, he might , I repeat he might not be doing half of what you're doing! Many 2.1 dey outside wey dey roast.

The boy himself will be happy with you coz u r taking care of his family.

3. For your fiancee, you should have presented it in anoda format. Think like a scammer! Anyway since the deed has been done, just have a deal with her not to tell anyone and at this stage, reach out to the boys parent (Father and mother only), don't include friends and their family because as time goes on they will use it against you like blackmailing you and using it to get money from you.

So the issue should be between you, his dad and mom and settle scores!

For your fiancee again, while you are begging her that even if she refused to marry you but she shud not leak the secret and during the canvassing period use it to open up to the boy's parent and if later the gal later effed up, the parent of the boy can back you up. and even say you're their child.

Also, don't rely on the job anymore, diversify. Invest your money or start businesses incase of any clash!

That's all!

Celebrities / Good Songs, Covers & Comparisons; A Note To Sean Tizzle by Mchayy(m): 1:06pm On Nov 13, 2015
Since the release of Adele‘s comeback single, ‘Hello‘, the music world has been rocked by the brilliance and belting of nostalgia and regret by the British native.

Record breaking, chart topping, magnificent sales and critical acclaim have characterized the Greg Kurstin-produced single, and it also aptly birthed the comical #HelloChallenge. Closely followed, is a train of music voices all around the world, doing various covers for the Billboard hit.

In this part of the world, our charismatic Omawumi – just coming out from childbirth recovery and gearing for the release of her third studio album – did an impeccable cover of the song.

The Warri-native’s cover is all shades of glorious and imressive, as she solemnly belts out “Hello, it’s me”, before subtly upping the tempo with a melodic reggae inclination.

Listening to Omawumi’s version, one would proudly nod in attestation to a Nigerian doing justice to a record-breaking song. This reaction is quite eerily similar to the reaction to Praiz‘s cover of Rihanna‘s hit, “Stay”.

This sentiment, Sean Tizzle echoed with his Twitter tirades, basking in the euphoria of a Nigerian colleague ripping a good song apart.

What Mr. Tizzle however fails to realize is that so much work was put into the recording of Adele’s original version – From the writing process (the writing of the song took six months to be completed), the creative process, production e.t.c – all which definitely won’t be unfamiliar to the “Loke” crooner.

Before getting all emotional and sentimental about the lack of support for our musicians, the bitter truth is that Omawumi wouldn’t have seen a song as good as that to cover if Adele had embarked on the low-road of shabby releases.

Now begs the question; WHY CAN’T WE WRITE/COMPOSE SONGS AS GOOD AS THOSE WE RUSH TO COVER? – Can’t we make songs good enough our international counterparts would die to cover?

The songwriting process and credits on “Hello” includes the producer, Greg Kurstin, and it shows the attention to details and perfection embraced by these international stars. Whereas all it takes for a song to be completed in Nigeria is a rush of disjointed sounds mixed with the most uninspiring lyrics composure by all and sundry.

So Mr. Tizzle, yes Omawumi’s version is brilliant, yes we have talented performers in Nigeria, and yes, we all want to see our music projected to greater heights in the world, but to term Adele’s version as weak or trash is grossly and insanely disrespectful.

Again, Omawumi and others wouldn’t have had a brilliant song to cover if Miss Adele approaches her records with the same uninspiring, lackadaisical approach embraced in this part of the world.

We should only strive to make our releases as good – or even better – even if it requires that we pay for songs written by professional and exceptional songwriters. We obviously aren’t doing a great job writing our own lyrics.

Celebrities / I Can’t Figure Out Why The Poor Have More Children- Charly Boy by Mchayy(m): 2:59pm On Nov 11, 2015
Charly Boy also known as Area Fada is back with a long epistle on why the poor are making babies in poverty.

Read what he wrote below.

Go ye into the world be fruitful and multiply, oh! yes that’s what the good book says. However certain people take this literally. They see children as a blessing from God and they view it as their duty to fulfill this prophecy by promoting procreation, rejecting all forms of birth control, including natural family planning.

Children are viewed as a reward from God and the more children one has, the more one has been blessed by God but the big question is, does this put food on the table especially in this hard times?!!

I’m still trying to wrap my head around why the poor have more children when they can’t afford to raise them. And why the rich have fewer children when they can afford to have more. The population demography of any society is vital in Nation building and governments around the world have effected policies to control this growth.
A very good example will be China’s one child per family policy, which has now been upgraded to two. It will be commonsensical to say that people breed their kind this means a rich family is most likely to have rich children, and a poor family, poor children. In Nigeria we have a large majority of low income earners who are multiplying the number of children they have. Children they can not afford to take care of. So wouldn’t it make common sense to say that the less one earns, the less children you should have?

This is one of life’s ironies.

People who are rich and can afford to have more children will not yet those that can not afford it do. Low income spouses spend more leisure time together than families of high income earners. It will be typical in our society today, to see a high income family where both couples are gainfully employed, close work late and get home from a hectic day too tired and stressed to indulge in any intimate act but the lower income earner seem to have more leisure time and less distractions to focus on their love plays with their tomato selling wives. Why is this so?

Breeding children has become a recreational sport for the poor, I feel this is an issue that we all collectively as a society need to address. I use to think that it was mostly in the rural areas that this kind of demography is rampant but that’s not the case, the other day I was shocked to find out that a friend’s security guard who earns 30,000.00 naira monthly has two wives and ten children. Hummmmm, How on earth are they going to survive on that, what type of education, feeding, clothing can he provide for them in today’s Nigeria. Don’t they understand that intimacy between spouses is also an occasion to be savored and pleasurably enjoyed and not just for making babies?

We all need to wake up to the harsh effects that this is having. Government needs to have more enlightenment and sensitization programs that will address this issue. There is a need to inform the populace about the harmful effects of having children that one cannot afford to raise properly. The most obvious aftereffects are when you see children hawking in the street in order to fend for their families. This is not an issue for the government to tackle alone, the private sector also has to join in. The first solution will be circulating constant information about family planning: Due to a range of factors including education and location of living, poor women don’t have access to as many family control measures as richer women so richer women have substantially fewer “unintended” pregnancies than poorer women.
For all my brothers and sisters coping with survival I urge you all to think more about family planning, I know God blesses us with children but we must learn to plan our family according to our means. By the way, I have 9 children but thank God my school fees days are over or else e for hardooooo. So my simple summary today is, cultivate your sperm according to your pocket size. A word they say, is good for the wise.
