There is every possibility that All Progressive Congress has begun the creation of parallel government as threatened by Governor Rotimi Amechi of Rivers State, recently. This suspicion is fueled by the creation of a parallel Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) twitter handle, for a sole purpose of endorsing the appointment of Prof Osibanjo as the Vice Presidential candidate of APC.

A party rooted in propaganda, APC threatened through one of her radical leaders (Gov. Amaechi) to create a parallel government, if PDP wins 2015 presidential election. It is evident that APC is bent on creating parallel everything to favour her aspirations and further her propaganda tendencies. With the creation of a parallel twitter handle of RCCG, suspected in many quarters to be perpetrated by APC online henchmen, Nigerians are at a loss on how far the party can go in deceiving gullible and innocent Nigerians.

Pastor Adeboye through his verified Facebook page has disowned the Twitter handle, @RCCGWorldwide which tweeted endorsing Prof. (Pastor) Yemi Osinbajo, a RCCG pastor, who emerged General Mohammadu Buhari’s running mate yesterday. In the Facebook post, Pastor Adeboye said;

“On behalf of The Governing Council of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, we would like to inform the public that RCCG is not affiliated nor represented by @rccgworldwide. The church’s official twitter page is @rccghq. The church cherishes the right of all citizens to participate in the democratic process to vote."

From the clear statement above by our revered and esteemed Man of God, Pastor EA Adeboye condemns yet another desperate scheme by the APC, which used a fake Social Media account of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in an attempt to endorse the party's VP Candidate, Professor Osinbanjo a pastor of a branch of the Church.

We have no doubts that the APC is a Party that attempts to use and parade Pastors as VP candidates to divide or mislead the innocent sheep and Nigerians with cherished Conservative or Liberal views and clear the known perception of Bigotry hanging over the head of its candidate and one time dictactor, General Buhari.

Party sources told SaharaReporters that Tinubu revived his ambition despite the party deciding at the end of the convention not to present him for the slot.

Participants at a Sunday night meeting convened by Tinubu were shocked at his sudden U-turn.

They said his powerful hold on the party left several of them unable to refuse his decision to present himself. It is all more difficult as the party had already decided against presenting a Muslim/Muslim ticket. Buhari and Tinubu are both Muslims.

Some members of the caucus however refused to sign the so-called endorsement, which will be considered later tonight at an enlarged party meeting in Abuja.

Ironically, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had in a press statement on Sunday by the party’s publicity secretary, Olisa Metuh, accused Buhari of being a “hostage” of Mr. Tinubu.

President Goodluck Jonathan, whose campaign team had gone into panic mode after Buhari emerged as the APC presidential candidate, is said to be waiting for the outcome of the search for Buhari’s running mate.

They believe that if Tinubu succeeds in his scheme, he will be an easy target to demolish since the Attorney General of the Federation has already compiled charges of perjury against him regarding his infamous Toronto certificate scandal. In addition will be his controversial history as a drug dealer, documented in a civil forfeiture trial in the United States. He was also indicted by a federal panel in 2006.

SaharaReporters’ checks with several party operatives in Abuja showed complete despondency at the action of Mr. Tinubu, considering the momentum being enjoyed by the party following its historic convention.

A lot of them are suspicious that he might have cut a deal with President Goodluck Jonathan to ensure that the party presents a ticket that cannot withstand the tottering presidents’ ambition in February.

Some of them told our reporters that the party's Presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari will likely consider anyone but Tinubu as VP candidate, stressing that he is being careful.

Meanwhile, Tinubu remains in Lagos where he is scheming with some of his lieutenants to gain “support” for his scheme. He has also presented two other alternatives, including Prof. Yemi Osinbajo a former Lagos State Attorney General, and Senator Olurunnimbe Mamora, in case his party rejects his candidature.

Court finds Obasanjo guilty of contempt over book launch; to rule on punishment in 21 days

An Abuja High Court has found former President Olusegun Obasanjo guilty of contempt, after the former leader defied the court’s directive barring him from releasing his autobiography.
Mr. Obasanjo released the new book, My Watch, Tuesday, in Lagos, days after the court order.
The court had ordered that the book launch be put on hold over claim the three-volume series contained details of a libel case already before the court.
The case involves a drug trafficking allegation made by Mr. Obasanjo against Buruji Kasahmu, a leader of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the southwest.
Mr. Kashamu had requested the court order to stop the release of the book, citing the case.
But the move is believed to have been a cover to block Mr. Obasanjo from making public some of his most scathing assessments of President Goodluck Jonathan, as contained in the book.
Mr. Kasahmu is an ally of President Jonathan.
On Tuesday, the former president defied the court order and proceeded with the book launch saying the judge acted in error and deserved to be sanctioned.
The former president also said the book had already been published before the court gave its order.
Justice Valentine Ashi, in a ruling Wednesday, gave Mr. Obasanjo 21 days to demonstrate why he should not be punished for going ahead to publish the book.
The court also ordered the Inspector General of Police, the Director General of the State Security Service (SSS) and the Comptroller of Customs to recover all the books all book stands, sales agents, vendors, the sea and airports and deposit them with the court’s registrar pending the determination of the case.
Mr. Ashi said it was immaterial that the book was published before the interim orders were made.
He said Mr. Obasanjo should not have in the first place published the book since the Kashamu case was already in court.
“The fact that the book was published in November is irrelevant. As long as the substantive suit is not yet determined, no party is entitled to publish or comment on material facts that are yet to be decided on by the court,” the judge said.
“I hold the defendant, not only in contempt of the court, but to show cause why he should not be punished for contempt and ordered to undo what he has wrongly done.”
“The defendant, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo shall be given 21 days, from the day this order is served on him, to show cause, via affidavit, why he should not be punished for contempt committed by publishing and distributing for sale to the public, the book, My Watch, in plain disregard of the pendency of substantive the suit and the order of this court made on December 5, 2014 restraining him from doing so.
“The defendants, whether by himself, agents, servants, privies or whatever name called, is hereby restrained from further publication or offering for sale or distribution, in any way or manner, the book called My Watch or the like of the visual or written materials which contains a re-publication or statement extracted from the letter referred to by the plaintiff,” the judge said.
He also ordered that orders of the court be served on all media houses in the country and be equally served on Mr. Obasanjo by publication in two national dailies.
The judge rejected claims by Mr. Obasanjo’s lawyer that Mr. Kashamu failed to produce the book to prove it contained libellous details.
The judge said it was the duty, instead, of the defendant, in whose custody the book was, to show the court that the plaintiff’s fear was misplaced.
He said Mr. Obasanjo’s failure to do so, showed he had something to hide.
Mr. Obasanjo’s lawyer, Realwon Okpanach, said the former president will appeal the ruling.
He said the court order, which the former president flouted, was given in error since it was not proven that the book contained libellous materials.
“The orders made cannot be enforced. They want the court to stop an act that had been concluded. That is impossible. We had published the book in November, they came before the court in December and asked that the publishing shroud be stopped. Is that possible?” he said.
“We shall file our appeal within the stipulated time of 14 days in the case of interlocutory orders.”

Why defying a court order to launch the book in the first place? If the court orders his arrest for contempt of court, people will come here to blame Jonathan, but it is clear that Obasanjo is looking for anarchy in the country. If court orders are obeyed at will, then chaos is beckoning. Most of the foools cheering him and egging him on to go ahead and destroy Nigeria, here are so wretched that when there is crisis, they won't have any choice but to be consumed. Jonathan will be the last to be affected, if Nigeria goes into war. And it will be fooolish to think that Jonathan will be bullied out of Aso Rock, just because he is from a minority tribe, without crisis.
