see bro, the only last thing you can do for yourself is to look for a friend with normal system recovery backup file like this userdata_20131202_223017.backup. place the file on your sd root,off your phone and enter system recovery by holding power and volume down. enter restore,search for the file on your sd. wait till it finishes then reboot. Always use stock system recovery to backup if you don't have cwm... hope this helps

Make I start with advantages
Android ui runs smoothly
Ram,175mb no be small thing (consider Apps,the load you carry for SD card and the size cos you won't find it funny ).
Gaming, it doesn't force close that easy unlike the stock rom (I played ravensword till I reached one scene it forced close but went on smoothly after using ram expander).
Multitasking, ok.
Message and contact scrolling, doesn't lag.
It came with stock browser(who needs this?not when you have dolphin and the rest )
3g on both sims,this one no be small thing as for speed excellent I reached 1.6mbps on second SIM.
Developer options,this one dey.
Added display theme colors ie raspberry, mint and the rest.
Camera is ok (I meant using the back one o )
MP3 sound quality,this one ok sha.
Music equilizer, this one dey.
Loaded ringtones (like who cares )
Fancy slide unlock (only unlock, no other shortcuts )

Now lets move over to the buffet (disadvantages).
first thing I noticed,

weird startup (which one be the amazing story of Android blah blah blah ).
battery drains (well, I can manage )
charging speed, mehn very bad, 3hrs on charging to 70% this is unlike my former stock rom 1h50min is enough to fully charge a 15% bar.
Charging and using, very very poor ,I use my sleeping laptop to fully charge my previous rom on heavy usage and the charging speed is fast.
No face unlock.
No front camera option.
No background themes (unlike the stock rom )
No auto light ability (not functioning).
No power saver option
No torch (I missed this )
The stock video player doesn't support resume (Who needs that when you have mx player )
Lame ringtones.
System update,well,i don't know for this one.
No compass,m not even sure if the GPS is working.
System widget no complete.
No follow come live wallpaper
Toooo tecnoish.

That's all for today, I might have missed some few pointers. correction is allowed...

Btw what load on SDcard have to do with ram

the loaded files on the SD has a huge effect on your device ram, if you doubt, place an empty SD and check your settings then tell me your discovery. As for the rom thingy, just wanna know if there's difference with the stock rom that's getting guys so worked up and having their device bricked, if not for the 3g swap on both sims and again m into appearance and the feel nothing more. No offence

once u have created cwm back up..

the next thing will be a nandroid backup once it ask for a reboot..

just create backup and recovery..

it takes couple of minutes without any input from u again..

NOTE;;; have at least 2gig on ur memory card.. cos the backup might take up to 1.7gb..

after the successful installation.. a clockworkmod folder will be created automatically on ur SD card folder... and 6 files inside the sub folder named backup..

that's it... u are safe..

bro mine only has 4 files ;boot. Img, dataex4. Tar, recovery.img,systemex4.tar only is their any other thing mine missed ?

for u to confirm.. turn off ur data and ask someone who has a good Ntwk signal to open the WiFi for u to connect using Foxfi or any other means..

I've experienced that before when I was on 2G but this one is different, my download speed clocks around 921kbps or 1.5mbps Max but still no sign of downloading in progress .Mehn I just don't know how this got cooked up

kolidave: its 2 things that can be wrong with it. 1. Your memory card is too low on memeory already 2. You increased your RAM to much that it has exceeded its maximum level. Just free up some space on your memory card and try to increase your RAM to a minimal level like 1gb. As for me I only use my RAM expander when I wanna play games or watch a movie or download stuffs online.

the issue is from the SD,ram expander requires an SD with a minimum transfer speed of 5mb/s were as his own is below the minimum, I will advice him to get another SD and to get the one with such speed will be expensive Cos the price varies with the standard we have around. I had that problem with mine but I have stopped using ram expander ever since I read that it damages SD due to too much activities (writing and rewriting )on a particular sector of the SD. if he must use then he should always make backups and again use ram expander when needed like during gaming but don't always live it ON.

kolidave: are you sure it doesn't accept it,this is the first time I'm hearing this. Try taking it to an mtn office first. Be4 you do factory settings,make sure you back up all your files and apps. After doing factory settings,you can download framaroot to root your phone again.

framaroot doesn't work on S3 mini, it will show failed to exploit device. I will advice him to search google for rooting apk for S3 mini.

kolidave: are u sure rooting ur fone was successful? Download root checker to see if ur fone is really rooted. And if it is actually rooted ill advice u to download ur ram expander directly from google play store

root is enabled,I installed supersu using framaroot. dias price tag on the one in playstore
