I hope nobody died!!

"A fatal accident occurred earlier today as a 20 foot container fell on two cars in Lagos. The accident occurred on Saturday evening.

According to available information, the accident occurred between Maryland and Ikeja."

The above report is contradictory!
1. Between Maryland and Ikeja? But Maryland is part of and inside Ikeja.

2. You said it occurred today? Today is Sunday! In another breathe, you stated the accident occurred on Saturday evening?!

Well that's why I love the notch... To hide notifications icons

God knows I hate my notification bar being crowded with icons.... Had to be clearing every now and then to have that neatness, during my days of RN4

Thanks to the notch, I don't have to worry about that anymore

WalkerMichael:
There's no" show notifications icon' option there.

You're cussing out somebody for being created the way God made them. I took a look at your picture and I see you're not exactly a vision of loveliness nor a delight to the eye.

Rather, you're a ghastly, ugly-faced troll that looks like something the cat dragged in with your cheap weaves and eyes that look stoned after getting high on opioid substances. Your character matches how ugly you are.

The young and beautiful lady whose picture has been circulating on social media as the youngest pilot in the world has come out to counter such claim, she took to her IG page @todsandkids this post

"Dear Cyber space, I am the woman in this photo. My name is Powede Eniola Awujo, Formerly Powede Eniola Lawrence, I was 25 years old when this photo was taken, it's been two years and this picture has circulated globally with all sorts of false identities attached to it".

"I am from Nigeria, in Africa, I'm not the youngest pilot even in my country. I have a private pilot license [s]from South Africa Civil Aviation Authority with a commercial pilot license in view,[/s] I am also an ex beauty [s]with a Bsc, RN and Registered midwifery Nursing Degree, this is amongst other things.[/s]
please bloggers and individuals @facebook @instagram @twitter Need to stop, It's been two years and I'm still being tagged as so many things I'm not. If you must tell a story, tell it with facts. Thank You"

With pocophone having Hal3(Camera2api) enabled out of the box, it is a better buy with a better processor to complement

Redmi note 6 pro has front LED flash. Except if I'm mistaking it for max 3 cos I have sold both device recently and I remember taking a selfie with the front flash of one of them.

fantilopezzy:
pls guys redmi note 6 and poco f1 who has better camera

bendovex:
Thanks mate. I tweaked the Google play equaliser bass and surround to 50 and the sound has been greatly enhanced. The difference is so clear. However, I noticed the equaliser is now showing "bass boost" on. Is it usual?

MY USER EXPERIENCE/OPINION ON THE REDMI NOTE 5
.
After using redmi note 5 for a few days.. Here are my thoughts!
It's a pretty phone (i got the rose gold). The battery backup is amazing. I am a heavy user, yet it takes me through the entire day (on 3g network), and i would still have 25-30% battery left by the time i get home.
.
.
The camera is good also.I love the fact that the front camera has a flash to take great photos at night.
It has some amazing features which makes for an enjoyable user experience.
.
.
Now, to what i want everyone to be aware of (because people just come here, say "I am now a proud owner of xiaomi..." and boom! Off they go, without dropping any review to help prospective buyers decide if it's the pros and cons of the device are what they can live with or not.
.
.
Before anyone comes for me, asking if am expecting flagship features on a $130 device, take a few moments to ponder on all i will point out here. The cons i have noticed are basic features even a 20 dollar phone should have and handles decently, without and hassles.
.
.
1.There are a lot of ads in the phone's system apps.. Themes, wallpaper, fole manager, music app, video app, security etc. It's like MTN, it's everywhere you go on the phone. I had to read up a thread on the miui forum on how to turn off the ads from everywhere it is displayed.
.
.
Now that's really low from xiaomi! I have used devices, from the high end flagships to feature phones, never have i encountered ads in the stock music player or other system apps.Like the phone has already been paid for, so why the ads? Even apps with pro versions gives the user an ad free experience after paying.
.
.
One day xiaomi may roll out an update and you find the option to turn off ads missing, then what next? The user gets stuck with a phone that has ads everywhere.
.
.
2.The audio output when using earphones is beyond poor on my device. This isn't an issue of "change your headphone. I am an audiophile so I don't slack on buying good earphones. As soon as music is turned on, through the speakers or headphones..
.
.

I can observe that there is no clarity. The voice of the singers come off as croaky and muffled, with a lot of noise. I tried my senheisser mx 365 earphone, a langsdom headphone, a sony headphone and lastly zealot sparkle.. It was the same. I went on miui forum, a lot of people were having the same issue even as far back as march.
.
.
The mi audio enhancer/equalizer is of no use. It seems to normalize a bit after you have listened to music with it for a while. Still you can't get that crispy clearness. I recently got a tecno torchlight phone that uses memory card for N3800.
.
.
I transfered some songs there and the audio output was clearer and way better than the xiaomi redmi note 5.That's a big let down because i listen to music daily. I have sent a feedback to xiaomi, and included audio logs report. I doubt if they will ever address that issue.

.
.
I am hoping it's something an update can fix, I am on Miui 10 right now, but i am not even ready to update the device for fear of the unknown.
.
3.The updates rolled out have bugs. Even the "stable versions" are not so stable. You update to a new version.
.
.
You discover your camera functions differently, pictures are unclear, some functions have disappeared, volume is low or your battery drains fast. With the issues relating to updates i read about, i am not even sure i want to update my device to avoid saying "had i known"!
.
.
4.It doesn't display glo network messages fully. When i dial
*127*0# to check data, on gionee m6 and samsung S8,the pop up message from Glo about my data balance is displayed fully. I never experience any issue with that using those phones. On the Redmi note 5 , the message is slashed and just one third of it is displayed with the heading "class zero message".. I run two to three data plans concurrently, glo night plan, weekend plan and normal monthly..
.
.
I don't get to see my balance for about two of them , just the active one shows whoke d remaining is slashed out. I placed my sim on other phones and i got tbe full message, so i know it's a xiaomi issue.
.
5.The stock music player doesn't play .wma files, and the stock video player doesn't play. mkv files
.
.
These have been my observations so far.. It's a pretty sleek phone, battery lasts long and the pictures are pretty decent for the price. The audio clarity issue is a big turn off. I won't be using this phone for long because of that.
