Ait. What I noticed is that UKVI do notice the date u fill in your application to determine how urgent you need it to come out quickly provided your application is successful. I filled in Jan 16 for my wife as the date she's expected to be in Uk and the BRP mail came that same date and also filled march 19 for my own and kids and we received feedback today been 19th of march.
In summary from my little experience, always filled a closer date after your biometric appointment.Am not saying am right but just an observation

I want to shed more light when u are filling visa application.
U see the date u filled that you want to go to UK in your application is mostly date you get feedback if your visa application is successful.
My wife and dependents a case in point.

Your answer is yes. Time limit is dependent on the time left on your Visa.

@dduchess90, and please, is there need to be concerned when application has stayed a week at DMC, meanwhile, some persons who did Biometrics same day got their Visa already within 2-3 working days and on STANDARD application?

There's no priority for dependants so unsure where the biometrics fee is coming from. When you decide to use an agent you should be able to challenge the process, on this platform we encourage DIY

As a dependant you can always arrive at anytime, so you don't need additional services from TLS

Take your time, get the next appointment without paying extra and go for your biometrics

Yes, you can.

It is OK but you will need to have enough proof to back the Certificate up. e.g. Pictures, Tenancy agreement or contract carrying your names,
Investment between both parties among others.

You can check the front page or check UKVI website

Just to add to this;
- Bank address should be changed to match the address of the MA
- Medical report too, a payment receipt from hospital with your names eg if she's pregnant and you registered antenatal

I read somewhere that pictures count for little.

You're required to provide proof of funds while applying for Visa. It's non negotiable!

NSF (Not StraightForward), is a standard mail received from UKVI after applying when your application has not been straightforward in dealing with and more time is needed to assess your application than the average decision time

Bros, if you have the complete tuition fee, by all means do it. You go struggle but you won’t die. It’s only hunger and sleeping in train stations you go contend with till you get part time job, but if you don’t have complete tuition, I WARN you not to try it. School and home office go mess you up big time, if you never get high bp and depression, you fit get am by the time they start with you. Take the advice above and find either a spouse or complete tuition.

My candid advice.

Exactly what I was trying to tell him earlier. The tuition fee is high plus the location, he won't get good paying jobs easily. He'd struggle real hard, unless of course if he has the full funds.

You can't use naira card, only dollar card.

Go to your bank and request for a dollar card. It's linked to your dorm account via a separate ledger.

Hi house, apparently, TLS isn't all that free even when you choose SELF SERVICE. Most of the dates have one subcharge or another; either FLEXI, PRIME TIME, PREMIUM etc. I chose to do the PRIME TIME which amounted at N82,000. However, my 2 cards were declined. I used a 3rd which belonged to my brother; he was debited but I got TRANSACTION UNSUCCESFUL ON THE WEBSITE.

Please what can I do? Anyone had this issue before?

Good morning my good people, my iom TB cert expires on 29th march. Must I do my biometrics before that expiry date or I just need to book for biometrics before the expiry date and do the actual biometrics later.

Why not just do another? The date is quite close, to avoid complicating things later on.
