Just started my adventure into the stock market and I’m impressed by the growth of WAPCO shares.
Having some negative reservations and speculations about banking sector shares.
Which and which would you advise?
I have reservations for banking stocks as well, but if you can monitor pull backs and the time it halted, you can get a good bargain.
Zenith and UBA comes to mind sha. You may check out Elephant at N7 or below too.
.....cos of the anticipated good result and dividends. Again, you needed to define what you actually want. Dividend, cap appreciation or jijo. grin

Zenith currently getting some bashing....

Please is Dangcem good to buy at current price or i should wait till it pulls back to a lower price. Thanks
Maybe you should wait for pull back. It was trading at 140 not so long a time ago.
Not saying it will get back there or not, but watch out for the pullback.

One thing I know is that no one can accurately predict this market, especially during this season. Back and forth is expected because people invest for various reasons. Even Oga Rabbi's prediction didnt happen around the time he said it would happen. lipsrsealed
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f):
Support broken in FBNH, Zee and UBA.............bids resurfaced at 7 for fbn, UBA 8.40 (8.35 now)....................We see how it goes by closing.
GTB.........defending share price.
FCMB.........support maintained.
Unilever.........offers at day's lowest price mopped up.

Pls did Unilever declare any dividend? Anybody knows?

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 12:29pm On Jan 27, 2020
UBA............8.50........... 15M bids against 19M offers.
Do not panic sell because some guys are trying to crash the price ahead of meeting outcome. Those offers may disappear once they get info.
The decision is yours anyway. You will come back and buy higher. lipsrsealed grin
Caveat: I may be wrong too. tongue
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 12:12pm On Jan 27, 2020
UBA: Strong support at 8.50................. Reminder: Today 27th is their board meeting
Zee: Support at 21.85...........efforts seems to be on top gear by 'big guys' to drag it down, but resistance is still firm so far
FBNH: Support at 7.25..........................500k gang lined up on offer table. Is this a ploy to crash the price so they can enter cheap? We are observing.
Access: Support at 10.15/10.25
FCMB: Strong support at 1.95
GTB: Not backing down at 32.10.............strong support at that junction.
Wapco: Strong support at 17.55
Nahco: Moving gradually...........
Arduino Jazz: Making efforts to "gbe body". grin
Vitafoam: 8.3M bids against 820k offers.........investors are sentimental towards this stock due to illiquidity, sad it should be doing +10% by now.

Aunty, just take down those screen shots, it does not make sense and it is not true. I’m saying it because you post stuffs that are true

The naira being at 360 has nothing to do with hoarding or speculation. The law of one price always holds true in forex and in any case that it is violated, arbitrageurs will take advantage of it and force equilibrium
I didn't write it in the first place. smiley
Got it and decided to share. Behind every rumour is an element of truth, so I believe.
One thing I just think will happen is that the cabals will so much frustrate the effort for their selfish interests.
Anyway, I'll take it down. We see how the whole scenario pans out.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 10:32am On Jan 27, 2020

Huge cross deals in Veritaskap.....

Wapco......moving....17.60 now.......but people get the wares plenty for warehouse. huh
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 10:16am On Jan 27, 2020
Unilever is getting bashed while Vitafoam is getting a pat at the back.
Why this? Your guess is as good as mine....report card. grin
If vitafoam is one of these liquid stocks, it should be on full bid by now.
Anyway: just a reminder that their qualification/dividend payment date is Feb.

This autocorrect self. grin

RomanceRe: She's The Best Woman For Me But Not That Beautiful. Should I Still Marry Her? by Mcy56(f):
Liposure:
Breaking up with her is not d issue but finding your preferred replacement 4 her. Remember a bird in hand is worth 2 in d bush n all dat glitters is not gold. So, My brother tink b4 u make d greatest mistake of your life.
Love this advice.
@Op if you think you can get a replacement for that lady, then you're on a long thing, if she's actually what you described her to be. Take enough time to think about the pros and cons of what you're about to do, then make up your mind to accept responsibility for your choice.

Once had a colleague who, till tomorrow was regretting his mistake of throwing 'gold' away cos of beauty....according to him.
He went for beauty but beauty landed him in marital trouble.

Anyway, you deserve to be happy, so it's your choice..........go for whatever pleases your mind and soul but don't forget to priotise happiness and peace of mind. Remember to seek the face of God too.
Good luck!
