So you only want to listen to good news? Bad news will make us plan well during good times.
Too much of everything is bad Sha
You're right sir. You've said it all. grin

We need to appreciate the works of the likes of Sir Onifa, Agba, OGG, Fxuser, BBM, CP etc here.
We don't need to throw subtle shades at anyone of them. Btw, I personally love to read sir Onifa's phrase "shirts don dey tear", "nose don dey bleed" grin grin grin etc- all nah joke.
Point of correction sir: As far as I'm concerned, we sincerely appreciate their selfless services, we cant reward them but God the great rewarder of good deeds will reward them bountifully.
Having said that, kindly note that some of us are religiously wired towards rejecting negative utterances cos human tongues carry power.
Personally I'm not always comfortable with negativity. Tear shirt to me in those instances means "loss", "feeling of sadness" or what have you..........this was what informed my response then........and because of the rate of repetition of such words; which to him might mean nothing but to me, it wasnt a joke any longer.
Yes. We all love them, we've learnt and are learning a lot from them.
I however think no one knows it all and we should be able to call their attention to such things.
Oga RabbiDoracle should please not take offence here. It's all for good.
I'm done. I rest my case. @All, pardon my epistle. grin

That too, isn't bad. Though not optimal in this market. Go ask the dividend catchers that caught Zenith Div 2017/8 @ over N30 or even last yr's one @ N26, none has broken even up till now, capital appreciation wise. Hoping you get my gist now.
BTW, No old moniker on this platform....
Yeah!
It's alright.

Price is not firming up as one would expect.
What's your entry price?
If it's around 18/19, just relax your mind. Go and process your e-dividend mandate form with Veritas registrar.

Most likely, historically speaking, Ma! UBA tends to trend higher 1st/2nd week in Feb (typical banking stocks), after that EOM activities kick in..
Okay thanks.

BTW: Marlianinvestor what's your old moniker? tongue One person keeps coming to my mind though. lipsrsealed

Price is not firming up as one would expect.
That's market for you.
Did you enter at high price? If yes, you will need a truck load of patience or sell to enter at cheaper price. This is totally at your discretion now.
That's one problem with Zenith in particular.
Once dividend declaration is coming or they declare dividend it starts falling.
Pray this one will be different.
I'm personally not a good fan of banking stocks. Dividend pushed me into UBA, dont know if I will still wait for it at the second thought self. grin

Madam Mcy, how is 'sweating inside AC room' a curse?
Maybe it was my interpretation of it. Apologies if you don't mean it that way sir.
.......but the point I was trying to make in a nut shell is to get the next direction of market based on FA/TA/GA or even SA instead of dwelling on the past.

Hmmm.... This is just a scratch.
Soon people go dey sweat inside Air-conditioned room.
Sir, with all due respect, I don't think there's any need to "curse" anyone here.
When we were expecting 10-10% and it didn't happen, our shirts didn't tear that time, it wouldn't tear now either by God's grace.
You've always advice and give us direction. We appreciate and look forward to more of this rather.
Thanks sir.

Newbies, if you cant withstand the 'heat' sell and book your profit, then wait for prices to bottom out.
Remember this market is not always on straight line.
If you have investment objectives already, then you may do well to stick to it.
If prices goes down/bottom out, you can buy more if you have fund. These oldbies are not helping matters here. lipsrsealed grin

Caveat: My opinion please (based on GTB that joined the race). DD applies. Market MAY reverse tomorrow, dont come for my head. grin

As for me, I'm still in UBA and not leaving soon. tongue

Teni said ABC Transport just announced a profit of N211 million after tax.
That approximately 31% returns at the current price of .41 kobo.
Okay. Thought you checked it as well.
I saw it with quite some improvements. Let's hope they keep it up in coming quarters and years, maybe investors' interests will be renewed in them.
