Brother, I no see any retracement. It is already done. We are moving higher.
WAPCO is about to break resistance on weekly. Key in if you can. grin
You know, I actually did a quick run on wapco now and discovered it was trading around the N40 region as at mid 2018, and N50 region as at 2017 despite the lull in the market.
Just wondering the type of "illness" that brought it this low.

Caveat: Not to be interpreted as anything pls.

This Zenith is on an unusual steroid! Abi dem don see result ni?
Maybe. Or maybe they're just positioning for dividends or cap appreciation. Or looking at bigger picture.

A FPI offloaded Zenith and not a Director.
Okay, thanks. So why didnt people fear that it may send Zenith price to 12 region then considering the volume?
What if Access Director needed to raise enough cash for other interests? Has he done something wrong?
Make una no vex o, I'm just trying to understand the rationale behind the fear ni. grin

Thanks Oga Pluto and Oga Rebekah for your response.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 10:06am On Jan 21, 2020
Another thing I thought of is this:
What if the sales (Access) is going to be more of cross deals than selling on the floor?
Did you guys consider that too?
Pls not justifying anything here, just looking at the whole scenario from different perspective...............I may be very wrong.
................and Seun11, I dont have a single unit of Access. So what now? tongue
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 10:00am On Jan 21, 2020

We only knew about the 55m earlier. This one na another one. Hence, the concern.
I just dont get something here.
When one director was busy offloading Millions, if not billions of Zenith some days ago, you guys kept holding the faith and didnt fear.
You all saw it as a bargain opportunity, what makes the Access sale now different?
Is it because the Zee director did not announce his own or what?
I'm just not understanding............... huh
OK. Access' price may go down small cos of the volume sale, but may not be that bad as we may think.
Let me come and go and read you guys reasons for the panic anyway.......but I see no panic so far............ grin

Oh, that's impressive!
I thought someone mentioned that they didn't pay dividend in 2018 FYE?
If they're paying for 2019 FYE, it means we should expect nothing less that 1.50 then. smiley

I personally would like to see the magic UCAP would do in the short term. People buy it generally for dividend but without some new result (4Q - which i predict would be flat), i dont see any significant upward movement short-term (2 - 3 weeks).
I dont really see Ucap going far too.

Reminder to Newbies:
- Like my bosses have said, this is earning season, some stocks might have priced-in the dividends before declaration. Be watchful if you're for short term but if you're for long term, no cause for alarm. Even if the price goes down little, you buy more if you have fund.
- Remember to key into fundamentally sound stocks
- Keep abreast of news and events happening/ surrounding the market as well.
- In BBM's voice (with all due respect): Plan your trade and trade your plan. grin
