Agbalowomeri:.....and sell anytime after qualification? Okay. I'm still trying to understand it. Thks. |
Agbalowomeri:Agba, but there's a form to be filled stating the number of shares you want to offer up for sale. It must be stamped by your broker, your CSCS statement attached to it and to be submitted to Veritas registrar on/before Nov 25th. Form submission starts from 4th Nov till 25th, reason I said someone may be able to increase his/her stake once qualified Tomoro. Guess it's more than just selling it, once you sell, you're not entitled to the payment.....that's how I see it going by the letter they published on NSE. Anyway, we see how it goes......but let anyone holding it get clarification first before selling on the floor. |
Agbalowomeri:Just seeing this. Can you explain better sir. |
bigjay01:Even though I don't know much about this take over of thing, just using DANGFLOUR to look at it. I think tomorrow as the qualifying date does not mean you can't increase your stake in it, before submitting your offer form thereafter, but you must make sure your name appears in their register after tomorrow and before 25th Nov.........na my own I talk o I no know book. ![]() It will be clearer if the offer document is circulated before close of biz Tomoro hopefully. |
veecovee:Vee, did they mention that they're delisting it? Cos me I didn't see where that was stated so far. When Ignite bought from Otedola, it was still trading on the exchange, nothing has changed except there'll be a future action but until then, calm your nerves, make we enjoy the small rally. ![]() Filling the form is optional anyway.....but I think it's better to fill it, even if they don't buy, it's worth trying at least. Also, there's nothing like freezing once you sell to them, they collect your shares and pay you money, shikena! BTW, have you received the form? Or did your broker send it to you? |
onegentleguy:Lol. ![]() With due respect, this action might be rewarding to FO shareholders in the long run, with or without MTO like you said. So I believe. |
Agbalowomeri:@Agba, I'm just thinking, what if its a strategy to discourage the moneybags and MMs from hijacking the process and reaping the goodies to themselves. What if it's just a strategy to reward tashere investors as well? I sincerely hope this is the case anyway. |
Agbalowomeri:Chai! ![]() Do you expect someone with 500k+ units to care about the purchase? I just think it's tashere shoulders that might likely put their offers up for sale.....my opinion anyway. We see how it goes. The action might end up paying the big shareholders in terms of price appreciation. |
pluto09:These village people are here again ![]() Its still 500,000 but may be more than this if offer received is in excess (going by previous arrangement) or they pro-rate offers as the case may be. In the letter however, they said they already sent the offer docs to qualified shareholders, guess this still refers to shareholders who chose to offer their shares for sale. We'll get more clarification I believe. |

eziokwunwoko:Then by now you should have been much better at selecting/buying into good stocks.....except you're buying those small ones for quick gains. |
eziokwunwoko:Wehdone sir. Pls lets know the AGM outcome. ![]() Surprised you've been in this market for quite some years, was thinking you're a newbie before....the way you used to ask what to buy. ![]() |
